Well we just got back a little more than a month ago from our first trip to Disney World. Of course we absolutely LOVED IT!!!! And the kids tell me every day how they wish they could go back. We had such a wonderful time. If you'd like to see that, click the link in my signature for all of the FUN!!!

Ok, so Manny and I have been together for 11 years this month, I met him when his son Anthony was only 22 months old. Then we had 3 beautiful daughters, Emily, Lizzie and Sam! Well, we never got married, we did things a little backwards. We had our kids, moved in together and lived happily without the want to ever even get married. We figured, we were together and that was all that mattered. And really it is, but about a month ago, we decided we did want to get married

And with that, of course we would want a "Honeymoon" I put that in parentheses because I don't know if it's actually called a Honeymoon with 4 kids along for the trip. But we wouldn't have it any other way. We were actually just joking about how long we think we could stay away from the kids!!! We both agreed on 1-2 days!!! That would be it! We love our kids:hug:

We are planning on going back at the end of September/ beginning of October. We Love Halloween and are really looking forward to Mickey's not so scary Halloween Party. Hopefully Free Dining will be offered next year too, and we are also going to be participating in the Homeschool activities that will be going on during those weeks as well. So we have a lot planned for this trip already and cannot wait to book our rooms which will happen sometime over the summer.

Another GREAT thing about this trip is that my best friend Nicole, Makdyn here on the dis will be coming with us!!! Her daughters are 9 and 6. Our girls will have so much fun together. They are all such good friends and will be thrilled and way over excited to be going to Disney Together.

It is a possibility that My Mom, brother and his girlfriend may come as well. We'll see, it's too early for them to plan. They are not Disney fanatics like myself. (That's because they've never been)

So we are much looking forward to our next trip to Disney World!!!

So, there is Me, I am the planner of these Disney Trips, I love Shopping for Disney!!!! I made autograph books and t shirts from the creative designers on this board:thumbsup2 Oh, how much fun I had getting ready for this trip.

Then there is Manny. He wasn't too sure he wanted to go to Disney World, Silly man, before we took this trip that is, now I know he is waiting to go back as well. He sure isn't a planner, he's a "sure honey, whatever you want to do is fine with me" type of guy. Typical guy right? LOL

Anthony: He is my 12 yr old stepson. I love him to death and he is such a good boy. He loves family vacations, he just thinks they are so special, which they are of course, but some kids don't realize how special they are. He does!!!

2009_0516DI.jpg

Emily: She is actually 10 today!!! My big girl, I can't believe she's already 10! Emily is a very sweet girl, but can turn into a monster beast in the matter of seconds. She likes to be in charge and get her way :headache: She did surprise us on this trip though. She isn't really the bravest kid around, but she got into this "thing" while in Disney and HAD to ride Expedition Everest!! Well, she loved it, I was petrified, I was hanging onto the seat and her for dear life!!!!!! Oh, i'm not too sure about riding that again next year.

2009_0513FX.jpg

Lizzie: She just turned 8 last week!! She is the sweetest little girl in the whole wide world. She is always happy and always smiling. She is happy doing whatever, you'll never hear a complaint. She was so amazed by this Disney Trip, probably the most out of all of the kids. Everything she saw was so amazing to her, and I thought that was so awesome!

2009_0515AD.jpg

Samantha: The 5 year old Princess, The baby, The spoiled little monster. She is the baby and that's that. I admit we spoiled her when she was younger, we knew she was our last, and we held onto it as long as we could. She is another that can be sweet as pie, but she can also make Emily and Anthony run away from her screaming when she is mad. She scares them:lmao:

Well, here we all are with "The Man" himself

As for the wedding , we will be getting married on July 4th, 2010 and going to Disney in September (we didn't want to go over the summer months with the heat and crowds) July 4th was picked by Manny, when we were first deciding on this, he shot that date out and was very excited about it. See when Manny gets excited about things, I have to act on that, cause it doesn't always happen. In other posts I will introduce you to my Maid of Honor and Bridesmaids and i'll post pics of where we're getting married ( which is being reserved this week) We are all having so much fun planning for this wedding, My Mom is thrilled and we're already looking at dresses and rings, centerpieces and cakes. It's so much fun. Just as much fun as planning to go to Disney World!!!!

I'm very happy to be starting up another pre trip report. This was missing from my every day life for the past few weeks since i've been home from Disney World. So i'm glad to be sharing our Trip and Wedding planning with my disfriends!!!!!!!

I forgot to add as well that we are thinking about staying at Pop Century. Emily(dd10) Really wants to stay there in the Roger Rabbit building. She has a thing for Roger and Jessica :confused3 Looking at the pictures, it does look really neat, and it is right by the computer pool and it doesn't look to be too far from the food court. We're going to be on the DDP, so we'll want to be close to the food court for snacks, quick service meals and mug refills. We had mugs with the Quick Service Dining Plan this past May, and we will definitely buy them with the Regular DDP, they were SO worth it. I highly recommend them!!!

Does anyone have experience with the Roger Rabbit building?

Does anyone have any pictures from their Mickey's Not so Scary Halloween Party?

We're big Halloween Fans, so we cannot wait for this!!! Also, does anyone know of any good Haunted Attractions in the Orlando area? Emily LOVES scary, and we'll have our truck (We're driving) so we can go out of Disney ( Not that we'll want to do that too often ;)) But I told her we'll see if we can find a scary attraction. As soon as she found out Mickey's NOT SO SCARY Halloween party wasn't scary she was a little bummed !!!

:yay:Congratualtions!! on the upcoming wedding...you have a beautiful family

:wave:I look forward to following along w/you on your PTR; I love making new disser friends (followed you over from Dana's thread):flower3:. we are going back for our return trip in 2010 also we just have to decided if we want to go in the end of Sept or the beginning of Dec.

YAAAAY you started it!!! I can't wait to see all the plans for the wedding!!! 4th of july, very nice!!! I haven't had any experience with the halloween party YET, we're going in september with my mom!! She's letting me make her a shirt, how cool is that??? I'm making my Aunt one too, who's had breast cancer, so I'll post those when I get them done, I'm still in the VERY early stages of that!! If I do one for my mom and Aunt, I can't leave out my other Aunt, she'll be in a wheelchair, so I'll see what she likes and look for something for her too. Anyways, enjoy the planning, sounds like such fun, I'm sure you'll enjoy disney in september, I hear the crowds are lower, even tho I'm not sure about that last week anymore....seems like that's filling up quick!! Have fun, and I can't wait to hear ALL about it!!

A July 4th wedding sounds fun. Are you doing red whire and blue? I brought my baby boy, Maxwell home from the hospital last year on July 4th and this year we are having his 1st birthday party that day. Its easy to find fun cute low price decorations in those colors.

Good luck planning!

oregandaddyof2, Thanks so much for the Halloween pics, the kids enjoyed them, and of course me too ;) The fireworks look awesome!!! And if you feel like it, feel free to post some more :woohoo:

tracisup, yeah, we are pretty excited about doing our wedding on the 4th. I'm not too sure on the 4th of July colors, we'll still thinking about colors. Have a wonderful 1st birthday party. How fun!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAXWELL!!!:cake:

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!!! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

Last night we were supposed to watch fireworks, but due to thunder/lightening possibility they have been rescheduled for sunday. (It never even sprinkled) So Sunday we're watching fireworks, today we're going to a cookout at my brother's house, and last night we had a fire going in our backyard and lit off our own fireworks. Manny.... He has to light fireworks every year. He's such a child when it comes to some things. We had a nice night. I'll post some pics of our weekend on monday!!!!

HAPPY 4TH!!!!

Oh, I also have some wedding plans to share, we went to our ceremony/reception spot and put down our deposit and took some pictures of the rooms the other day. I'll also post those on Monday!!!

So we had a nice long weekend, Manny is on vacation this week and I also took some vacation days, so i've been off since Thursday and don't go back to work until wednesday!!!

So Just wanted to share some pics of what we've been up to this 4th of July weekend.

Thursday we met up with our homeschool group and took a tour of this house that dated back a long time ago. It was a great tour. There is a river near our house that used to be a main mode of transportation back in the day. And this house we toured was a spot that many Captains would stop to rest and eat.

Emily is paying attention, Lizzie is just playing with the her lip :lmao:

This was a bridge we walked under on the way out, I just thought it was very neat.

We had a nice day, my girls are so into History. I love it. Some of it was a little over Lizzie and Sam's head, but I figured that some of it would be, and that's ok!!

But after that we all had ice cream :cloud9:

I'll post pics of the rest of our weekend later on, I have to charge my laptop!!!!

Ok, so last week my friend Brittany and I went to the place where we're having the wedding ceremony and reception. My best friend, Brianne gave me the $500 deposit as part of my wedding gift :goodvibes That was nice!!! So it's all booked. We have the menu to decide on what we're going to have for meal choices and the list of what is included. Ooooo, the food smelled SO good in there.

Ok, so here are some pictures of the front entrance.

And then she took us to our room! It was set up for a banquet, not a wedding, so it will look a little different of course.

2009_0702AE.jpg

These silly girls, they always gotta be the center of attention.

2009_0702AG.jpg

And after we visited there we took the girls to get ice cream. Me and Emily had Coffee oreo, Lizzie had banana and Sam had regular oreo. Ooooo, it was so good.

Oh, it feels so good to have that booked. So now, we've been talking about fun stuff like centerpieces and favors. Finding a place and booking was quite stressful. I'm much more relaxed now.

In a few weeks I'm going to go back up there and look at their color choices for napkins and tablecloths, we thought we had colors down, but it doesn't look like they have those choices. So now i'm thinking maybe purple.

Ok, actually can we have a little poll? Some people are telling me I should do Red, White and Blue because we're getting married on July 4th. Would that be nice or tacky, I can't picture it? Then I was thinking about a dark purple, and they also have Gold tablecloths and napkins as a choice, so maybe purple and gold? I don't know, what do you think?

beautiful place!! I would definedly go with the purple/gold over red/white/blue. I like the american colors, just not for a wedding, but that's just me!! LOVE the place tho...that was really nice of your friend to do the deposit for you!

Thanks for your opinion, I didn't really think red white and blue were wedding colors either. And yes, my friend is wonderful. Brianne has been one of my best friends since 2nd grade :cloud9:
