A video of the new Haunted mansion que!

I like on the right hand side of the construction where you can see, I think, body parts sticking out of a bath tub? Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks pretty cool!

Great shots. I hope it's open by July.

I'd say chances are VERY good for that.

I was there last week and between Thursday night and Friday morning they removed the walls and the placed plants in the way into the new queue. When I asked a cast member about it they said they were told they were doing testing and it should be opened sometime next month.

Very cool! :cool1: Thanks for that info!

Looks fantastic and I cannot wait to see it! Disney Parks Blog says its tentatively slated to open at the end of the month

Very nice! I know people around here like to complain about them "not investing in the park" but that is money spent on an attraction that didn't need to be, yet will hopefully improve the guest experience when riding HM.

HM was a poor choice it looks good but there are other attractions that need this HM didnt.

I can't wait for them to start on this for Peter Pan that ride really needs it.

Also PPf is happening it is rumored that BTM will get this when it's lift hill is replaced.

Looks good. I'm a little surprised that they put the standard queue dividing chains in. That's a little tacky IMO.
I would think the added length of the new queue area would have been enough to help the overflow congestion. Maybe they needed to do it so that they could route you in front of all the added features?
Overall it may be a little cheesy looking during the day but I bet at night it will be pretty spooky.

I'm excited to see the new queue in person, but I do have a couple of concerns. I know people are going to want to stop and look at stuff (I sure do!) and I'm a little concerned they'll end up with 1) people who don't realize they can go past the person who has stopped to look at stuff or 2) people who don't want to let people pass them even though they've stopped.

That's really the only issue I see. Though I've only been in a long line for HM once, so I'm wondering why they chose that ride to add an interactive queue to. Or maybe it's just less busy during Halloween/Christmas stuff? (Those are the only times I've gone.)
