Ok! I have never done one of these before so here goes!

My DH and I have been married almost 11 years. Our first trip to Disney together started July 26,1998, the day after we were married. It was a wonderful trip and we stayed at the CBR! We went again in 2000 but that time we tried DisneyLand. We went for only a day but it was great fun to see the "Original" Castle.

Then we started our family. My son was born in 2001 and the following year when he was 10 months old, we took him on his first trip to Disney. We have yet to miss a year. We have gone with babies on board, babies, toddlers, preschoolers and now we have school aged kids ( I cannot believe that!)

We joined DVC in early 2006 and we love being DVC members. We have stayed at many Disney Properties: CBR, ASMo, Pop, POR-both sides, AKL (Jambo), SS and OKW.

We have 2 upcoming trips: September 2009 to AKV and January 2010 to BCV.

The September trip is a celebration of my DD's 6th Birthday. We spent our son's 6th Birthday in WDW so now it's her turn!

We were most recently in WDW in January 2009 for my birthday and my husband's birthday. We have birthdays 1 day apart so it was a ton of fun to go and celebrate together! It was cold in WDW in January (record cold, I hear) but since we are from Cleveland, Ohio it was balmy at 50 for the high!

In all honesty, cold and all, it was the best trip we have ever taken. We relaxed, the crowds were light and the kids weren't overly crabby because there was not the typical oppressive Florida heat. We deceided on that trip to upgrade to Annual Passes and come for our DD's birthday.

As soon as we got home we book the Kidani Village section of Animal Kingdom. Our trip is Sept. 1-10. We got amazing flights at $116pp on Southwest and now we just have to wait!

I waited and tried to plan the best that I could for dining, but September hours were not posted for our Sept. trip on our advanced ADR date of June 3rd so I did the best that I could! Hopefully this isn't TMI. 2 months, 2 weeks and 5 days til our trip!!!

Here is a pic of our family:

Here are our Dining Plans, just in case anyone wants to know:

9/1 Teppan Edo
9/2 Coral Reef Restaurant (DD's Birthday Celebration!)
9/3 Cape May Cafe
9/4 Chef Mickey
9/5 Tutto Italia
9/6 Le Cellier
9/7 No t/s going to visit family
9/8 50's Primetime Cafe
9/9 Les Chefs de France
9/10 1900 Park Faire

What do you think? Good or bad?

I forgot to add that we are attending the MNSSHP on 9/4. That seems like so much fun to me!!

DD is dressing up as Alice in Wonderland
DS is unsure, but I am trying to talk him into Tweedle Dee, Tweedle Dum or the Mad Hatter!

Sounds like a fun trip! We are also going in September to celebrate my DD 5th B'day. All your ADR's look yummy!

I just got through to Disney's Cake Hotline 407-827-2253!

I ordered the Mickey Mouse Head with chocolate cake it was $48...not bad!
They are delivering it to the Coral Reef. Of course as soon as I hung up, my DD said she wanted a pooh bear cake...ugh!princess:

Now, I just need to call the restaurant to see what I can do about someone swimming up to the window to say HB to my daughter!!!

I hope it will be fun...I hear Sept is really hot! Where are you planning your ADR's? Have you made them yet?

I scheduled the BBB for my daughter the morning of her birthday...I hope she loves it as much as she has in the past!

Happy planning!

Joining in so I can come along for the ride. I hate to report it but I read somewhere that they stopped doing the divers at Coral Reef. If you find out otherwise, and I hope you do, then please post the information.

Sounds like a fun trip. September is still hot here so be ready.

Well I found out today that my BFF is coming along with us for 3 days of our trip today.

So I spent an hour changing my ADR's around so that her family of 4 could share meals with ours.

Then I got the call that they were coming for a full week!! My DD will be so excited that her BFF's (my BFF's 2 daughters, ages 3 and 8) will be coming along!

So I will be making some changes tomorrow!!! Any suggestions for a large group????

You might want to check out the menu for Biergarten, it wasn't Baylor's favorite but it's fun for a group!:goodvibes

You guys are really going to have fun together! With the little ones! I would also suggest you try to get Tusker House or perhaps Akershus for the girls, it's a princess fest!

The kids do love Akershus! I have to check into Tusker House. Is the food good there?

We have been to Tusker House for breakfast twice, the food is awesome and they have great characters! If you decide to try it, attempt to go before the park opens...

Here is the countdown calendar that the kids and I made!!! 63 Days to Disney!

Super cute countdown calendar. We have just 35 days to go. I went to Home Depot this weekend and picked up more Mickey heads so we can make our countdown calendar. I don't usually start them until the 30 mark. So, I gotta get crackin'.

Thanks!! I think it's way too big but the kids kept asking every day when are we going so I made it start the day after my son's birthday!!!! Good luck with yours!
