A Very Special Thank You for a Very Special Board Member

Most of you know Darlene (Mickey 7811). Most of you know that she had surgery several months ago.

Being her friend, I sent a get well card, I emailed, I IM'd, I kept in touch. I followed her progress and tried to be there and cheer her when she took a step backward. I traded for her in the parks when she couldn't do it herself. I did what any friend would do, and of course would do it again.

Well today, in the mail, I received a pin, from Darlene. But not just any pin, she sent me a pin I never dreamed I would own, a Goofy Hat pin from the hat pin series.

I don't usually have a lot of "high" traders, so I don't imagine I will ever get the rest of the set, but you know what, I will always have a Goofy Hat pin, right there, on the front page of my bag, with all my other special pins......... including a very special friends Birthday pin.

What a wonderful gift to you from someone with a wonderful spirit. It has been a pleasure of mine to meet both of you.
