A Very Merry Christmas and Happy Anniversary to us!

So.... Realized I put my pre-trip in the wrong place!

A little recap: Christmas/ 15th wedding anniversary trip, been gone from my favorite happy place for 5 years too long!

We're staying at Port Orleans Riverside, and we're excited for a new experience with a resort. We've stayed at All Star Movies the last 4 times we've been, we love the theming, but we're ready for something new.
I can't wait to see POR dressed up for the Holidays!

Today, I was able to book all the ADR's I'd hoped to get. Yay! My little dinosaur fan can go to T-Rex again, I get to try Boma and Be Our Guest, and we return once agin to Tokyo Dining.

So now the countdown to Fastpass+ reservations begins, tick tock.. Tick tock...

In the meantime, we start our WDW Countdown crafts and start to gather up the "bear necessities" for our trip.

Well, we're 48 days out now.

I had to go in and change a couple ADR's, but at least we'all all eat what we want at some point. Unfortunately, I had to axe Boma. While I knew I'd love it, my other two travelers are not so open to trying new styles of food.
I'm really struggling over the whole snack food thing. I'd like to bring these items with me, but we're flying this time, not driving. So my struggle is shipping, packing or delivery. We will only be 4 days in WDW, so I'm leaning towards just packing a few things to tide us over between meals.

I got the Fastpass + reservations that were most important to us. So far, I don't like the FP+ thing at all. I liked the old system much better. Anyway, DD and I are still really excited, DH, sorta excited.

We're doing a split stay, so DH really looking forward to Universal, as he's never been there. I haven't been in a while, and I'm nervous that we're going to get there and DD (10yr old), won't ride anything. She does not like thrill rides at all. I guess we'll find out, there's always rider-swap. I'm very excited about the Harry Potter stuff and our Universal area hotel, we are staying at Loew's Royal Pacific.

So I guess-- so far, so good -- the countdown continues!
