Hi Everyone!!
I'm leaving TOMORROW to head to the World! I have mainly been a lurker around the Dis and other boards, but wanted to post a pre-trip report so here I am!! I've loved reading the boards and learning from all of YOU! Thanks for everything! Now, onto the trip....
WHO: Me (Courtney, 26) and my incredible, wonderful, dear husband (Austin, 25)

I am a full-time graduate student studying speech-language pathology. I will graduate May 26th
yay
and I hope to work in a medical setting with adults!! My husband teaches high school English, but will be going to back to school this summer to do a post-bacc pre-med program and then pursue medical school!
We are sort of first-timers. We both went to Disney as children (me once, him twice) but we've never stayed on site, and Austin has never even eaten in Disney! And of course, this is our first time going as a married couple, and our first time planning!!
Enough about us....
WHEN: December 17-23, 2011.... and we are leaving tomorrow!!
We are both obsessed with Christmas, so we've always wanted to see WDW at Christmas time! Plus, we are both bound to school calendars
WHERE: Pop Century! This was pretty easy for us to pick. Budget definitely limited us to an extent, and while we did toy with the idea of a moderate, or doing a split stay, ultimately we decided that we will only be sleeping in our rooms, and decided to go with a value! We look forward to trying out moderates and deluxes in the future!!
WHAT: Seven days in the parks!!! Some days will be part travel, but that's okay! Cramming in as much as possible. We will also be going to WWoHP one day, because we are HUGE HP fans!
We got free quick service dining, and debated upgrading to DDP. After many, many ADRs, cancelling, rescheduling, etc, we decided to stick with the QSDP, but we are going to do 2 TS meals OOP.
Plans: We are leaving tomorrow after my husband gets off work and driving all night (15 hrs) to the world! Hoping to arrive there by noon.
Saturday: Epcot!
Sunday: MK + MVMCP. I know many people don't think the party is a good deal, but we decided to go ahead and try it. If it's not worth it, we won't do it again. But I'm excited!! Like I said, we're obsessed with Christmas!!
Monday: WWoHP! Then head back to WDW and do MK... EMH til 3 am!!!
Tuesday: AK
Wednesday: Epcot again... dinner at Le Cellier!!
Thursday: DHS
Friday: Breakfast ADR at Kona Cafe (must. try. tonga. toast!) followed by a few more hours in MK! Then we will say goodbye to WDW and drive to my dad's house in GA, where I will immediately begin planning our next trip!
I hope to have tons of pictures and food porn to report back to everyone!
