Firstly, I have to say a big thank you to everyone who has posted or e-mailed me with good wishes for my mum.

The good news is that she has left hospital and returned home.
She is still not 100% and will have to return in 6 weeks for a biopsy on her kidney, but she is very glad to be home.

Her pain is greatly reduced and she is much more comfortable than she was. Hopefully things will clear up completely in their own good time.

Once again, thank you all very much for all the pixie dust sent her way. I had to shovel it from her front path, it was several inches deep!
I did keep a small bagfull for myself just in case of emergencies in the future, it's powerful stuff you know.

Kev

Great news, Kevin! I hope Grandma gets to be 100% very soon.

Cathy

P.S. Have you given any thought to next years trip?:teeth:

I'm so glad to hear she's better. I know you're feeling better because of it. Thanks for letting us know, I for one had been wondering about her.

Wonderful news, Kevin! Continued good wishes.

Thanks for keeping us updated. I'm glad Grandma is feeling a bit better. Best wishes for a complete recovery soon! :sunny:

I am so glad to hear she has been able to return home! It is good to hear that she is more comfortable but we will be sending more pixie dust so that she gets back to 100% quickly!

Thanks for updating us!

is some powerful stuff......and prayers help too.......thanks for the update and good wishes to continue

Thanks for the great news Kevin. We are so glad to hear that your mum has finally returned home. We will keep saying our prayers so that she keeps improving every day. Thanks for keeping us updated with the news.

So glad to hear she's well on the road to recovery! Thanks for updating us, Kevin! :)

and is home. Thanks so much for posting an update on her condition.

I'll continue to send good health prayers across the pond.

Cheers.

I'm so glad to hear Grandma is doing better! Thanks for updating us!! :D

I too was wondering and am glad to hear she is recovering. You'll have to send her a card with a pair of special kidney-shaped mouse ears for her brave suffering!

(I don't know how to do that computer graphic stuff or I would do it myself! lol)

Through your trip reports, you make us all feel like we're part of your family, sharing the adventure. I was stressed just reading about the hospital trip, so I'm sure it was a miserable time for you -- much less for your Mum. Here's yet another sprinkling of pixie dust and best wishes blown towards her door to speed her recovery. I know she's a sport at WDW but tell her that the hospital is not another "ride" that she's allowed to repeat. I hope you're recovered from your "vacation", too !
