A Very British Trip Report - Oct 2006 - Day 1

Excellent as ever Kev. Laughed all the way through :thumbsup2

Great start Kev, glad to have another Stringer masterpiece to digest!

and please, Matt, get out those inappropriate images now!!

Great report Kev. :thumbsup2
NOT that I have any kind of Fettish you understand but where can I find this Badger with a cane??????

I hope you have some more of that stain remover using that much on the first night i think your going to need an industrial size bottle for the rest of the trip :rotfl:

Hi Kev...

Im sure the reports are good but Im having to try to copy and paste them at the moment into word (whilst trying not to look) so I can print them ready for the flight tomorrow (then I have to hide them so Jackie doesn't read them before hand).. Anyway I will presume there is nothing in them that will warrant them being confiscated at customs, unlike the potted beef sandwiches that Jackie insists on making for the departure lounge wait..

Any chance of you completing a few more hundred pages before dawn breaks then :)

Danny

cant beleive Ive only just seen this Kev! :cool1: I just knew reading this would brighten up my week, my only disappointement is that we weren't with you for this jolly jape! (mind you, there may not have been enough stain remover for our spilt wine too!)

India's comment was a cracker and is now being quoted by Becky at every available opportunity btw! :rotfl:

Woo Hoo, I so need something to keep me awake after my marathon 24 hour return trip, and Im very pleased to have found it here Me Stringer, great start :thumbsup2

Excellent report. I am looking forward to hearing about the rest of your trip...you are a natural. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Hi Kevin! I first found your homepage 2 years ago as I was getting ready for our first ever trip to DW!!! I couldn't stop reading and I forwarded it to my sister. We have both read every word of every report you have posted there! So.......Just wanted to let you know that you have a fan in Kansas and one in Iowa too! Bet you didn't know that you were famous in midwest U.S.A.

Can't wait to read more. My girls are younger than yours (9 & 4) but I still love reading about how yours get along in DW!

Thanks, Kev, enjoyed your report. Going to try out canes like a badger on my hubby tonight!

As always, a great start, Kev!

Those of us on this side of the pond are dying to know ... with stain remover in hand, Tam didn't by chance, break out into a rendition of "nah-nah-nah-nah, nah-nah-nah-nah, hey! hey! hey! good-bye", did she? (a la Kelly Rippa in the Tide stain remover commericals shown here.)

As for India's lingo, be thankful it wasn't full of expletives (a la some of the teenagers I've heard around here.)

Looking forward to reading more!
