a VERY basic question

Even though we aren't newbies, we have never tried to book at our 11 month window before. If we want to check in on Dec. 29, 2008 and check out on Jan. 4, 2009, is our 11 month window when we make the call to reserve on Jan. 29, 2008 or Feb. 4, 2009? Or something altogether different? Help! (thanks in advance!!)

The 11 months is keyed off when you are checking out...so in your case it would be 2/4/08. Now...if you were worried about availability, then you could call MS each day from 1/30/08 and book your room(s) day by day and you should notify the person at MS that you are in fact doing a day by day ressie.

Your 11 months priority to make the whole reservation with one phone call would be February 4 - 11 months from the checkout date of the reservation.

If you want to reserve the stay on a day-by-day basis, you could reserve the first day on January 30 (checkout for the first day is December 30 - so 11 months is 1/30)>

Unless you are trying to get a GV, a Standard View BWV, a conceirge at AKV or one of the 2BRs with 2 queen beds at BCV you can probably make the entire reservation on February 4. If you do decide to reserve daily, let MS know with the first call what you are doing and they will hold the confirmation letter until the reservation is completed on Feb. 4.
