A TV producer offers $200k to move out of your home permanently so they can set their new soap opera there , would you agree?

I'm surprised they would even consider a real house. The Big Brother house is just a set in a studio. Trying to get proper lighting for TV in a house with 8 foot ceilings would be a challenge.

True - sometimes they just use if for exterior shots.

For example if you have every seen Father Ted - its mostly shot in a studio in England, but the exteriors are shot in Clare Ireland and they do an amazing job editing it all together.

People who visit the house are always disappointed its not the same inside, the folks (I think they were from the US) that bought it had no idea about the show until people were taking photos out front.

I think that is very common.

Yes, but I bought my 3BD/1Bath home in 2010 for $69,000.
I would definitely take them up on it, pay off what I owe, and still have enough to get into a place that is a little bigger with a few of the things I would like to have. I know my situation is not as common based on where I live and when I bought.
