we didn't get married at WDW, but we were married in a chapel in kissimmee...DH didn't wear a tux either! he wore a black suit with a white mandarin collared shirt.
I don't think a tux is a must, but the groom should be dressed according to the bride's dress. Originally my DH wasn't going to wear a tux, but then when I fell in love with a formal wedding gown, he had to 'upgrade'. He's still giving me a hard time about that As long as his outfit matches yours in how formal it is, it'll be fine.
thanks for youe replies! he doesn't mind wearing a tux, i just think it's to formal for what we are having. and my dress is simple, strapless with a little poof, no beading or lace, just a little rippling effect on the waist. so we'll most likely go with a black suit with a white button down. i don't know.
DH was thinking of not wearing a tux for our VR in June. I think he was a bit worried about the money. But I told him how handsome he looks in a tux and the old chest puffed out and now he's wanting to wear one, especially since he found a tux rental place really, really cheap. I think it would be fine as long as he wears a nice suit, which it sounds like he is. Either way, I'm sure you are going to think he looks like Prince Charming in whatever he wears!
We got married at Sunset Pointe and it was VERY informal. DH didn't wear a tux and it fit our theme. Whatever you feel most comfortable with go for it! Love-Megan
check out my pics I posted. My hubby wore shorts and a shirt of course we were suppossed to get married on an island......but people still comment on it all time. Some thought it was cool others not so cool. Either way its your and his day let him be him. Thats what I did.
