A truly WONDERFUL weekend with my parents (thanks in part to the DIS)!

I have been told I'm an OVERLY thankful person, I can't help it, I just am!

But today I cannot be more grateful to the wonderful, caring people on this board.

On Friday I posted a thread for people to say Hello to my ailing Mother. The response was more than overwhelming! My Mother had asked for it and boy, did she get it!

I sat by her bed and read them one by one to her. Tears formed in her eyes, she laughed out loud, but mostly she would ask me to repeat some of them. The pictures, smilies and signatures made her smile, especially the pictures of the children! The amazement that people from all over the world could send her their prayers and greetings! Imagine! To a 76 year old woman this is like the Twilight Zone!

She wanted me to thank you all for everything. Thanks for EMBARRASSING me, guys... but I had to admit kind words about a child to her mother is TRULY a testimony to HER. For that, I am honored.

Again, I thank you all!

Oh, and YES, Mr. S is back home now, too! He is sooooo thrilled to be home with his family it's like a new beginning for him. I continue to pray that these two so in love people will have more than the 60 years they've had together!
