Love the pics of you on the Segway. Mike seems to always look off in the distance in pictures. Like he's trying to look like he's smart by "looking off in the distance in thought" too funny.

BTW, I wonder what happens if a Disney resort screws up, give you the last available handicapped room, and then someone in a wheelchair who needs that room (and requested it) shows up? Would the ADA require them to force you to give up the room for them, or would they find the handicapped guest an accessible room at another resort?

I hear you on being lonely on all the weekends. Now that chris is on the other night shift it's better for us but before it was horrible and i felt alone all the time. So i feel your pain. It really does suck. I wish we lived closer. We could be alone together. you, me and sharky seem to be in the same boat with the hubbies having strange work schedules. I hope Mike gets a new job soon. Stuff like that can really weigh on a couple but you two will make it though.

Randy I heard somewhere that they always keep a handful of handicap rooms available and dont check them out just for that reason.

I REALLY hope he gets something. But the good news is my cousin/best friend just closed on a house that is literally 2 blocks away from me! She's getting married this Saturday, then when they get back from their cruise they will officially move in. She already invited me over for Sunday brunches just about every other Sunday. Her in-laws have had that tradition for a while now...it's just that now they'll be alternating houses week to week. And I'm already pretty comfortable around them, so I told her I'm in.

I am sorry but I don't know if I'll be on tonight...I have someone coming over to hem my dress for my cousin's wedding (well, pin it up anyway). I know...it's way too close, but she's quick, and even said she'd probably have it ready for me tomorrow. There's only one layer underneath, so hopefully it will be really easy. Going through her rather than those stupid seamstresses at David's Bridal saves me at least $50. (sorry for the negativity, it's just they charge such ridiculous prices for just a little hem)

I have a headache right now, and I'm SO COLD that my nose is running. I know...TMI huh? sorry you had to hear that! I was stuck in the other room where I have been helping out the payroll dept. and it was very cold in there--explains the runny nose, and the lights seemed very bright--which would explain the headache. Boy if I aint a Debbie Downer today!!!

Did I mention he applied for something with the same company I work for? (Entergy) I think he can get it...he'll be working in a different facility, but my only hope is that he wouldn't work every weekend (I'm almost positive that wouldn't be the case) Anything has to be better than the schedule he has now.

I want to do my update now...Unfortunately, I don’t have my notes with me at work. And I really need my notes (the time table) to write this next part of the report. AND my receipt from dinner....
