So many pages to get through this morning, couldn't believe it! It looks like you guys had fun last night!!!![]()
**yawn** goodmorning everyone...I'm here!!![]()
Now what'd I miss?
![]()
Geeze, I went away last night to eat my salad, got distracted (and not DIStracted either) and you guys pushed another 4 pages! Good thing I have today off..I can be post happy![]()
My goodness..you sure all ran amok over here...I go out for like 3 hours and I have 6 pages to read and I see that I am losing my spot near the top..Not liking that at all...Have to hurry and catch up![]()
That's what I was just thinking! There's like 6 more pages than last time I checked in! I'm on the bottom of the list though.![]()
All Star Sports with my hubby and 2 of my kids. We can't wait!!
I'm on the western side of the state near Pittsburgh, but still next door.![]()
It's our first time at ASSports. I'm a bit apprehensive after reading some of the reviews about it. I would much rather have had Music or POP. But my son loves sports, so hopefully it won't be too bad. Actually, the thing I'm most worried about is the drive down - small car - 2 kids in the backseat - my husband fighting me over the cd player. I would much rather fly, but that just wasn't an option this time. I did the 24 hour bus trip with the high school band years ago, but I'm not looking forward to being the one doing the driving this time.To tell you the truth, I'm more concerned with my husband misbehaving than my kids.

yeah, it was mostly me and DDad bantering back & forth over who would get the #1 posting spot (other than Cheri of course
)

for a day off!! have fun DISin'!
![]()
I had more pages to catch up on your report than Disneydads, I think he is loosing his thunder. Dont tell him that because then I will have 20 pages of catching up to do on his tomorrow.
HAHAHA! I didn't mean I was going to go post happy on your thread...but more that I'd be able to catch up where I needed to..I feel like I neglected some of my fellow writers!
You may not have today off but you are still Dis'n which usually shows me that you get to DIS from work! Now that alone makes me uber jealous..I want a job I can DIS from work!![]()
That sucks your other son...(guessing he is from a previous marriage with the Devil.....) can't go........
Has he been before???
aww..don't be sad. You're still just as important to me!
I think you might have told me that you were staying there, too. Maybe we will see each other! What time are you arriving? What day do you depart? We are staying until the 21st.
I have family in Philadelphia....and some of them are going to Disney at the same time as me....
I will tell you the one PLUS about Sports. We will be the first bus stop! (out of all 3 All Stars) I actually had heard more positives on Sports than Music in the past. But I've stayed at Music and I never had any problems. We also happen to be easy-going people, so little things don't bother us. We are just fine with staying at a "cheap" hotel---and even Disney's "cheap" hotels are nice compared to many out there. I'd much rather be on Disney property than anywhere else.
If we had kids, we'd probably be driving, too. We're flying this year b/c since it's just me and Mike it actually works out to be cheaper. If we were driving, I wouldn't want to put the miles on my car so we'd end up renting, then factoring in the gas money, and stopping at a hotel for the night--it's cheaper to fly---AND we won't waste any "could-be-disney-time" travelling in a car.
I do hope your drive goes smoothly though! Bring lots of entertainment items!

Aww..thanks!!![]()
We're leaving PA on the 14th and should be getting there late morning on the 15th. After that (I hope) its straight to the MK. Its a first day tradition for us. And we have ADRs for LTT that evening. Not sure what time at the moment since my organizational skills are severely lacking and I'm not sure what I did with my paperwork that has my confirmation #s and times on it. I better find that soon...
I've got the entertainment items in place for the kids - coloring books, homework, dvds...but what to do for the husbandUnless we can bring Jim Beam in the car with us, I don't think he'll be happy.
Nope, he's never been there. His father's a real ........
Thank God I was never married to him. HUUUUGGGEE teenager mistake!! Well, my son wasn't a mistake, though.![]()

We leave to go back homeon the 22nd. Hopefully a full week in Disney will satisfy me for awhile, but I doubt it.
Thanks for the info on Sports. I'm feeling a little better about it. Just the things I've heard about it being the oldest of the all stars so its more run down than the others. That really doesn't bother me all that much. As long as I don't run into any mold or bugs its all good.

Oh goodness! Your DH is a drinker? Just bring some good music, and label a couple of bottled waters "Jim Beam" to make him laugh.
Just call up disney dining.....407-wdw-dine and they can pull up the list of all your dining ressies....using your confirmatino number on your paperwork...![]()
Yes, thank god you did not marry that DEVIL ....Such a shame he has never been and is getting up there in age....Maybe plan a big shinding for him when he is 18.....he is an adult then and his father should not be able to stop him from going with you on another Disney Trip![]()
I also have them saved in my itineraries on disneyworld.com. Haven't been able to get that to work for a couple of days, though.
Unfortunately, I think my son is turning out to be just like his father. I still love him and I'm there for him no matter what, just that he's got some psychological issues, not that I'm knocking anyone with bipolar disorder or chemical imbalances or anything like that. I don't want to offend anyone. Obviously, since my son has these issues, I realize its something that a person can't help. I dealt with these with his dad, along with the whole "anger management" thing, which, in his case, I think was just a cop-out. It just sucks that he had to pass it down a generation and now I kind of have to tiptoe around my son just to keep the younger kids protected from him. Hopefully one day, for his sake, I'll be able to get him the help he needs, and I'll be able to take him, too.
