The day before my cruise! My mother woke me up to go pick up my best friend that I had not seen since our trip to the Grand Canyon in August. I was so excited that this was the day that I was going to see her and my aunt later on in the day. Now we were on our way to Lakeland and I would not stop talking for one second, I’m sure my mom blocked me out because if she didn’t her ears would have probably started bleeding. There we were finally standing on the campus of her college where she came out to meet us. What was this; she had cut her long hair all off. After talking about her hair for awhile too long we went into her dorm room. I wanted to meet this girl I had been so envious of, the girl that was living with my best friend. But she was sound asleep so we continued onto Orlando to pick up my aunt who was staying at Pop Century Disney resort. We got there and thought it was quite nice. My aunt gave us some goodies (she is so sweet) and told us that a couple that we had been chatting online with about the Disney cruise were also at Pop Century. My aunt thought since it’s their honeymoon we should leave them a message telling those congratulations and that we would be seeing them the next day on the cruise. Once we got to the front counter there was a zillion people there and Janet had wanted to go to see a resort that I once stayed at called the Animal Lodge (I guess after listening to me rave of how great it was she just had to see it). We hopped onto the trams and finally when we got there it was just as amazing as I had remembered. Janet seemed to enjoy seeing it also. My aunt collects pressed pennies so we went to find a press penny machine, of course, most of them were broken but we finally found one and I had remembered at this time how much my friend Janet had also loved to collect pressed pennies and my kind hearted aunt gave her money to get and pressed penny from Animal Lodge. The tram ride back was a little more interesting because I thought there was no one else on the bus with us and decided it would be a good time to bring up personal issues not to mention very loudly. Janet interrupts me to point out the guy sitting a few rows in front of us that was hidden from my sight. Well we all began to laugh about it until we were back to Pop Century. We left a sweet message to our honeymooning friends, Kelly and Jake. Now we were headed for a much needed lunch break. My aunt had given me a travel size mad libs in my goody bag so to occupy my low attention span we started playing and the game asked for a persons name, Janet just had to be this person so I said “Okay” in a “your going to regret this” voice. After I had filled out the whole Mad Libs sheet I began to read my love letter to Janet, don’t feel bad for her she asked for it. Well the whole car was full of hyena by this time especially after I said “you wear your cheese wheel so good Janet.” Well finally we stopped at Bob Evans for some grub, and yes I did have to bring the Mad Libs along. While the four of us cracked up in the restaurant I knew that we had probably already chased out the whole place, and stopped any new comers from wanting to eat there. After lunch we were back on the road to my house where we would try and get a good nights rest before the cruise. My aunt and friend enjoyed playing with my dog until it was time to go get dinner. My dad, being the gentlemen he is, offered to take us to my favorite restaurant called Texas Roadhouse. This would probably be my favorite restaurant because I use to work there, so while we were eating I had plenty of ex co-workers coming up to say “hi.” Even with their interruption we still had a wonderful meal. We all got to bed early that night so the cruise would come sooner, well I don’t know about the others but I was not getting any sleep with all this excitement. Well with me not being able to sleep and knowing I would not get to talk to my boyfriend for a while I decided to call him to say “Bon Voyage.”

Wow, you write with such wonderful detail that I feel like I was actually there!
And what a wonderful neice you are to give so many compliments to your aunt!

I can tell you are a lovely person and I look forward to more of this trip report!

We all go our piles of bags together and asked my dad if he could squeeze them into our cramped trunk space. He didn’t seem to think we needed all those bags, and imp guessing he does not understand the essentials needed for four women. Once we got to the port and figured out what we were doing there was a nice gentleman to help us with our pounds of luggage, poor guy. My mom got back into the car to park it in the next parking lot over. As my mother is driving away my aunt whispers into my ear “did you mom tip that man?” OH NO! While my aunt is rustling in her back pack for some ones the man has disappeared “do you know which one helped us?” my aunt asked me “I have no clue.” Well we went on our way without tipping him feeling awful, and hoping that he didn’t have and hard feelings I mean he did have my shoes in his possession. After our long ten feet walk to the door I saw an adorable little girl twirling around in a sailors dress, then I did a double take that was the daughter of another internet cruiser. My aunt introduced herself to Linda, Eloise’s mother, while Ellie tickled me (or at least she tried.) My mother finally made it back from parking the car along with Linda’s husband Wayne. We were off to go sign in for the trip of a life time. Since my aunt had cruised with Disney previously we got cute castaway club pendants. Now it was time for pictures this was just too excited to pass up a photo op, as we are about to take a picture Mickey Mouse gets in the way “follow Mickey to get a picture” says an assistant but by that time we were already there. Janet and I were the first ones to get a picture with Mickey before the cruise. After a few more agonizing minutes we were called to board the magnificent ship, exciting right? No I had been dreading this for about a year, the part where we walk on a small plank from shore to the ship. My nightmares that I had been having were coming back, “what if the plank falls?” Well I had nothing to worry about I stepped on and off the huge platform with 2 inch width of watch under me with ease, ok not total ease but I was very pleased that it wasn’t near as bad as I had anticipated.

well there are a lot of errors in that last post.

i hope you can still understand it.

next time i will look over it BEFORE i post it.
