A trip (report) down memory lane...Sept 2016 free dining/WWoHP/beach vacation

Yay, an update! Sorry you were under the weather. You guys look so chill hanging in the HUB waiting for the fireworks. Great pix of the fireworks by the way.

I KWYM about the price of Universal! The parks definitely don't make it attractive to do one day there (Disney/Universal) they want ALL your days! But I'm glad you were able to work out a solution to make the whole family happy especially since you are a huge HP fan, you must have been starstruck with Diagon Alley and Hogwarts Express. Totally awesome, right?! You're a total muggle trying to find it though! haha (I did the same thing our first visit too! ) I don't claim to be a fan but I've seen the movies and thought it was super cool and true to the series. Just wondering, do you think that Disney currently has anything that matches that level of detail?

Glad you were able to spend sometime with family too, looks like you had good weather for the beach! I bet it was so hard to leave!!!

Thanks! I'm feeling much better now. Yea it does make it harder to go for just 1 day. I actually got tickets on base (I have a govt job so can get some of the military deals) and I got 3 day park to park tickets for the price of 1 day. Wouldn't have been a bad deal if we had 3 days to use them! I was hoping we'd get to throw in a 2nd visit somewhere but we never did. I absolutely LOVED it though! I really don't think Disney has anything quite at that level of detail. It's really amazing how much detail they put into it.

Chapter 25- Do we really have to go home? Travel Day

I've been putting off writing the last part cause then it'll be over lol. And it was fun writing this report! I might even do a retro report for our first trip after this. So on Sunday we woke up a little later than planned because we had stayed up way too late with Tommy's family having too much fun! Totally worth it though We had already pretty much packed everything up so we just had to load it in the car. I think we got on the road around 11am. It was about a 9 hour drive home and it was pretty uneventful! The weather was nice. We stopped at a Denny's somewhere on the highway for lunch, kind of a travel tradition for us. We got home late that evening and went straight to bed cause it was back to work and school and reality the next day!

I just wanted to use this last post to put some pictures that I didn't have anywhere else to put...

This is the bag I had all the characters sign! The only negative part is the sharpie bleeds if it gets wet Wish I had realized that would have used different markers, but still came out cute!
