So close to being done.....
Day 7 - Tues October 28th - Magic Morning & Happiest Haunts tour
Grabbed some breakfast to go as we didn't want to show up for our DL Magic Morning too late. Got there and there were already long lineups
Lucky for us people don't realize that each entrance gate has two sides so we walked right up to the front of a gate to wait.
Funny thing, nobody came and stood behind us for quite a while then this "brave" family from farther back in another line scooted over behind us. Then they all came. Awesome for us as we ended up standing right at the rope for rope drop.
While waiting we discussed what we wanted to do, Kierra of course wanted to head to Space mountain lol. At rope drop we headed to SM only to find it was down
She decided to wait it out and we ended up waiting in line for 20 min before it opened up. Not exactly the way I wanted to spend our MM but I just went with it lol. We did get on right away as there was only one other group in front of us, we requested to wait to be in front as that is by far the best way to do Ghost Galaxy. We ended up walking off and getting back on with a 15 min wait.
Next we headed to Pirates of the Caribbean, and then over to big thunder ranch to conjure some villains. We conjured Cruella who was in prime form and was not in the mood to share the spotlight. I love this pic where Kierra and I foiled her plans of hiding our faces lol
and then finally got cute pics with chip & Dale. Sadly they were not doing photos together.
We left to go grab fastpasses (while waiting for a new villain to come) for Splash mountain but had trouble as it said our tickets weren't connected or something. We were told we would have to go to City Hall to fix it but the lovely CM gave us a fancy anytime Fastpass which was so sweet of her.
We zipped over to city hall then we headed back to the ranch to conjure another villain. This time we got Captain hook & Kierra had remembered her autograph book so we got his autograph this time.
Then we headed to Spash mountain to use our fancy pass.
We both got soaked, Kierra got super soaked as she was in the front. She was supper mad at me for that as i may or may not of told her it wasn't that bad. I got the silent treatment for a bit lol so we headed out of the park to grab a meal and take a rest at hotel.
Now that we were rested, fed and dry we headed back to park to do a bit of shopping then went to meet up with our Halloween Haunts tour group.
We loved the little button with our name and the souvenir pin we got.
Our guide led us down main street telling us interesting facts along the way. We stopped for delicious pumpkin treats that were oh so yummy and made only for the tour.
We headed to the Haunted Mansion but upon arrival were told it was down
we took a little potty break and hoped it would be back up before the break ended. It wasn't
Master Gracy then joined our group and was delightfully entertaining. He has a fabulously eerie sense of humour and really took a liking to Kierra, reminding her there was always room for her at the mansion. She declined but thought he was hilarious.
As a group we headed over to Big thunder mountain, then made our way to Snow White and finally Space mountain. lucky Kierra lol.
The whole tour was so much fun. Our guide and Master Gracy had a wonderfully playful repertoire and their company was so much fun. Next we started heading back towards main street. We made a stop for some pumpkin spiced latte or cold hot chocolate and the most delicious pumpkin cookie to end the tour.
Our guide knew we really wanted to ride Haunted mansion so she checked to see if it was up. it was. she said if we walked super fast we could be escorted on but we only had 5 minutes to get there. most of the group declined but the few of us that did booked it with our guide following with the slower two. We got there right at park close and were escorted right to the front and got to ride instantly. YAY!!! Perfect end to our day.
We headed to Downtown Disney to buy the remainder of our souvenirs and shopping, grabbed some pizza then headed back to the hotel to eat, pack and sleep!
