Yes, it was difficult but I feel we made the right decision to go ahead

It's amazing where we all find the strength when there are kids involved

I know what you mean about the kids it's our duty to be strong for them! we have no option!
It's really comforting to know that i'm not alone with all this

One of the most important things is to talk to people and accept any help that's offered - don't try to battle on and do it all yourself (says she who's absolutely great at giving advice but not taking it herself...... )

People want to help but might not know what to say (usually the big 'tough' men )

Gary you and Karen sound fantastic people, and your loss of Karen must seem overwhelming. Disney is magical, and this board is also full of magical people who will always be there for you. There is also another board on the DIS called Coping and Compassion and I visit that too. You will find further help and support there. I recommend it. I guess you are taking life one day at a time. Keep your spirits up.

Just wanted to say thank you for the tribute, Karen was obviously a great lady and I'm glad your life is so much better knowing you loved her and she loved you and your child so much. Hope you find the strength you need in the long days ahead.
