Time to leave you in mid-parade, like I so often do. Sorry, but I come in from work and put some things on, and then life calls. I'll go do my real life stuff, and then I'll some back and
finish the parade this evening.
Now remember, it is very hot, and you are eating ice cream which is dripping down your waffle cone (waffle cone,
Charleston Princess
) to your fingers. You are miserable, but happy because you are at the Happiest Place on Earth.
Stay right there. I promise not to leave you overnight this time.
Are you allowed to quote yourself? I totally forgot about finishing the parade, so I almost broke a promise! We've been working in the house and out in the yard all evening, getting the house ready for a bunch of company Saturday. Trent and Kristi have worked on it nearly all day, I think. Kristi and her mom went and got some new stuff for inside, Trent, Mike, and Drew did yard work, Kristi and I painted shutters...it's been a busy little place - this humble little house on the corner. I hope they know how much I appreciate everything they did. The yard looks very nice. Weeds had taken over the bushes. It now looks like a house, and not a
haunted house!
Okay, take your last couple of licks of that ice cream cone, and let's finish this parade!
We'll start with this little face, who was excited about seeing her beloved Sulley.
Live and in person.
Or I guess that should be: Live and in monster!
Big Sulley was very curious about his pint-sized relative.
He made a big fuss over Brooklynn and then went off to dance.
Brooklynn was asked to join in the dancing,
but she was a little unsure.
With a little help from Mommy, she did stand out there long enough for me to get a picture.
Then it was time for Sulley to move on to other adoring fans. We got a glimpse of Bug's Life as they went by.
With this parade, you just have to decide what section you want to see most, because they stop, do the show, and move on.
For whoever asked earlier, we were sitting right on Hollywood Boulevard, just up from Crossroads. The first picture gives you the best idea of where we were.
