A Sweet "Wonder" Feb 11-15 (sweet 16, 12-13-14 wedding, Familymoom)

If you happen to go over to the Pre Trip reports you'll see all the things happen the year leading into our trip on the Wonder......
I am Dawn (mom, wife) who went on this trip husband Vernard, our two DD's Tori and Maddie, my dad and mom and my sister Lisa and her husband Paul.... all 8 of us had never been on a vacation together so this was our 1st vacation as one big happy family
This was also my husband 1st thing with Disney (ok we did go to a Disney on ice show last March) but this was also his 1st time cruising and also for my sis and brother in law....
OK lets get to the good times.....


Day 1 Wednesday Feb 11
we all got up at 8 am or so I had to go to Walmart to get cold med and anything I could get my hands on for those with out sea legs! Then I picked up my sis and her husband, they had to get their Cuba coffee ( they are from San Diego) after that back to the house to get everyone else and pack the car's..... about 10 am we where on our way.... and yes me being me I had not gotten gas the night b4 so we had to stop to get gas and also we had to pick up our mommy and daddy juice lol BTW we live in South Miami.... so by the time we got to the port of Miami parking garage G it was 11:08 am! Our PAT time was for 11 - 11:30 am so we where good

.... we got in went to Castaway line (because this was the rest of the family 2nd cruise) NO LINE walked right up when we all got ck-in we had boarding #3! So we found a set for my mom.... ( I had joined our FE group and what a great group we are so my sister came over to me and tells me the couple mom and dad are next to the husband is celebrating his b-day and it's the same day as hers.... I ask if she got the names of the couple b/c in my FE group one of the couples is celebrating her husband b-day.... so I walk over and see a face from FB and yes it's them.... so cute and funny!)

we heard the family of the day get called and then it was time for us! We are at the part they call your family name and what does my teen do?
"welcome aboard the
Supercalifragilistichespiralidoso family!"

It was so funny everyone was getting a good laugh..... we went to Parrot Cay....

we order the drink of the day, I went to GS to get my little ones times to meet A/E and for the princess. I also went to get our MDR redone.... so we ended up with Triton's the 1st night and Animator's palate the next two nights and Parrot cay the last night ( on the last night it was Valentine's day so we had dinner at Palo.) After we ate we all wanted to see our cabins it was just about 1:30 pm.... we all went to our cabin's my DD's where with my mom and dad in 2620 my sis and her husband in 2517 and my husband and I in 2509.... my DD's and parents had a cabin with a BIG window and they loved it! what can say about ours inside it worked for us.... then we meet up with my parents at the DVCM meet up got a few free drinks and played games and then it was time for the sail away party....








OK after the sail away we all went back to our cabins to get dressed for dinner at this point I am going crazy looking for my makeup!!! So I call down to my DD's cabin asked my teen if she had it and she tells me " NO but that's ok mom we can go to a cosmetics store that has MAC cosmetics in Nassau!" That two nights away! After that I get called from my mom asking me where my little ones underwear are? WHAT?! I forgot to pack her underwear! OK this is not the 1st time I done that to her on a day trip to the FL keys I forgot them also.... so we go up to the shop and yes I had to pay $20.00 for 3 Minnie mouse underwear!!! .... well dinner didn't happen for my DD's and dad and me! Remember I said I went to Walmart to get something for us with out sea legs Thank goodness I did!
I got Sea Bands for my little one they worked GREAT she never got sick just felt bad.... but my dad got it the worst he was done for.... my teen also got sick once and me I never got sick just felt like I was having a real bad hungover! The sea that night was so bad! But about 9 pm or so it was all good! So my loving husband stay with me the rest of the night and we put the show on the TV and he order me "Ginger-ale" OK so that's our 1st day hope your enjoying our trip so far just wait until you hear the rest!

We were also on this cruise, OMG that first night was rough!!! Thank God I take my Bonine like clockwork when we cruise.
We had the same rotation as you did, but we had the late sitting. It was a wonderful cruise.

Day 2 Feb 12 Thursday
Castaway Cay
I got up about 8 am to go meet my DD's and help my little one get dress for her to see her most favorite Disney cheater ever Anna
We got dress and then to breakfast at Parrot Cay... the food was good about 10 am I call my dear husband to wake him up and meet us at the meet and greet with A/E my sister and her husband also meet us at Studio Sea where the meet was at.....

she loved it and enjoyed them talking with her...next was time to go out on the deck and see Castaway Cay and land! After the night before I was more then happy to be able to go on the island.....

we went to get dress for the beach and a day on the best island ever CASTAWAY CAY! We had heard that the pasted trip on the Wonder was not able to dock and the next trip was not able to dock also! We were so thankful that we got to enjoy our day on the island.... my husband asked me a few times if I wanted to go and hide on the island and never go home again? I told him maybe next time....our 1st stop was a photo with the man Donald Duck and to send off postcards....


after that to get a drink and enjoy the beach!


I don't know how Maddie got in the water it was way to cold for me!
So I enjoyed my view

We went to lunch about 12 PM and went to cookies two we all enjoyed our lunch then back to the beach the my husband and I went off on our own and the rest of the family went on the bike ride.... V and I meet up with a couple from our FB group and talked with them for a few then we went back to the ship for a nap......



After our nap the rest of the family was back on the ship and we all meet up for dinner that night at Animator's palate.... my sister and her husband had order the wine packing so each night we had a wine to go with our dinner.... we all enjoyed all the food we order


After dinner we went to the show Toy story My little one LOVES Toy story.... Toy Story 3 was her 1st ever Disney movie and from that day on that was her favorite movie and anyone in it! This one of two reason we went on the Wonder... One was it was sailing out Miami, and that the Wonder is the only ship to have Toy Story...... after dinner my teen went to the teen club and Maddie came to my cabin because she didn't want to go to bed so we walked down to my cabin and who is in bed? That's right my husband! So Maddie and went up to the movie because my mom told me that's where Tori was with a few friends she had meet.... OK the movie was Into the Woods and lets just say Maddie and I looked at each other with that look like "WHAT WAS THAT ABOUT?" I didn't care for it at all and Maddie to this day sings the song they sang in most of the movie lol After the movie I dropped off Maddie at her cabin and then off to bed I went but not before ordering ROOM Service each night my husband and I order a little something I got hot tea and the cake of the day... up next Nassau day....

Day 3 Friday the 13 Nassau and yes Pirate night

This morning I wake up and went again to my DD's cabin to help my little one get dress to meet the "Princess".... it was for 9 something and the family meet up with us at the meet ( My husband is not a morning person so that is why he is NEVER at breakfast with us lol ).... This day was also my sister 41st b-day so my mom got her b-day button at GS..... as we waited for our time to meet the "Princess"

after the meet I went to wake up my love of life... then I went to meet the rest of the family at Triton's and I enjoyed my breakfast it was French Toast it was real good (sorry I don't have any photo's of the food but on this trip I didn't think of it until the last night )
After breakfast we got off the ship... Before I go on, my sister and my teen had gone to the port shipping buyers on the ship the 1st day and had gotten a FREE charm bracelet.... so how does it work you ask..... when you get to the port you go to the DiDiamonds international store and you pick up your free charm ( OK I think we paid $5 at the 1st stop).... but before we went on shopping we did go on the Carriage ride... ( if you read my Pre trip report you would have seen that Maddie my little one is a hunter jumper rider. So anything to do with a horse she wants to do it.) we all had a great time

after the ride we went to the Straw Market and yes shopping at DiDiamonds and then my DD Tori got me to where I needed to go....
the Cosmetics store where for a hour we got a make over and new make up for me and her too lol NOW I have NEVER EVER paid for big name make up from the age of 13 ( when blue eye shadow was the thing to wear) I have always been a Cover girl but that day I ended up with MAC and the PRICE of $160 or so!!!!!! My husband came up behind me and asked " how much did she say that was going to be?" I told him and he looked at me and said " That is going to last you 20 year or more right?" So after that how could I be mad when he told me he was going off with Paul for the rest of the day..... SO off they guy's went and the girls and I went back to the ship..... as soon as we got back Tori went off to the teen club and Maddie and I hit the pool.... we eat lunch by the pool and just had a good time together then we went to the cabin for something and my husband was back so he went back up to the pool with us but never went in.... we stayed until the ship had pulled out of Nassau then we went to shower and get dress for dinner





That night was Pirate night we went to dinner at AP's after dinner went up to show and fireworks it was a lot of fun then our family dance the night away (OK until the DJ was done) after that my mom went back to the cabin my teen went off to the teen club....so my sister, Paul, my dad, Maddie,my husband and I went to the show that night it was so FUNNY.... I forgot his name but he had been on the TV show America's got talent.... after the show we all went back to our own cabins and yes my DH and I order room service lol







Next day see Key West and Valentine's day

Day 4 Friday February 14 Key West

When I got up I had this from my DH .... He knows I want to go to Paris so bad our room is done with that theme in it.... for our 45th b-days we (ok I hope to have it in Paris) BTW we make our gifts to each other... hand made gifts we are allowed to pay things we can use to make it but other then that we have to make it ourselves ..... he always wins lol


This morning my teen was still asleep and was my dear love, so Maddie and I went to get breakfast at Beach Blanket Buffet we wanted to be out on the deck to see the Wonder dock in Key West.... we got our food and went outside but it was WAY TO COLD, we found what we could to set and eat what we had gotten....





I told Tori to go up to BB when she got up but we never saw her... back to the cabin and who is still in bed but she was dressed? She told me she went up to BB but she didn't see us... TOri still had not eaten, off we went to Parrot Cay and saw my mom & dad.... then who walks in my sis and her husband.... they all got something to eat... then it was time to go wake up my love ( when you get to Key West you have to go through customs ) we all meet up again and with in a few we where all done and walking off the ship in no time.... our 1st stop was getting a drink then we walked to a Key lime shop that my brother in law wanted to go to. off we go....








they each got pie and my DD's got milkshakes... after that we got another charm and walked up Duval st... we live in south Miami and have been to Key West a few times but this was my husbands and brother in laws 1st time.... so what to do in Key West? The two guys went off to enjoy Key west and my DD's and sister went back to the ship... My DD's didn't want to go up to the pool or the teen club and I needed a nap we went back to my cabin and we order yes you got it room service and put on a movie, Tori and I went to sleep and Maddie told me she stayed up... it was about 5 ish when my mom called the cabin asking where Tori and Maddie where... I told her they are here with me ... I asked if she had seen Paul and V? She told me no.... so I called my sister to ask if the guys where with her.... she told me no....by this time it about 5:15pm and the time to be back on the ship was 5:30pm.... tonight was our night to go to Palo I had been looking forward to this night... by this time we where in my DD's cabin and I was getting my little one dressed for the evening... Tori and Maddie where going to the show and dinner alone ( Tori is 16 years old )... the cabin they where in was right above where everyone was getting back on the ship.... so Maddie saw V and Paul as they walked back to the ship and got on! After seeing them getting on the ship I went to our cabin to shower and get dress for dinner by this time it was almost 6:30PM!!! So my sister and I went up to Palo while the guys got dressed for dinner.....

What I had been waiting for and the night was here!
We went in and mom & dad are at the table waiting for us to join them.... the guys get in and the GREAT NIGHT BEINGS!!!!!
we order or did we lol it was like each thing I told the waiter I wanted he told me to try something else and he'll being out what I wanted for everyone to have same.... the FOOD was great.... my husband and brother in law are doing real great! They are talking and having a great time together.... at this point I was MAD so I had to stop the fun and tell them it was time to stop talking with each other and talk to us.... after that it was good but same how the "love you man" being and OMG that went somehow to each person at the table had to say how they felt about their husband or wife.... so my husband goes 1st... he was so sweet, he did make up for getting me mad lol
Then when my dad went he had my sister and I crying and so was he.... he was telling our husbands how thankful he was for them to love his daughters in a way he always wanted us to be loved and now he had two sons .... yes I am crying all over again now.... then all the men got up and where hugging each other.... what can I say after that.....





after dinner my husband and I went to meet the girls OK he looked like he was going to pass out so I told him to go to our cabin and do anything to wake up... As I waited I went to see the photo's and after paying for the 15 photo's I was done!
I meet up with Tori and Maddie.... Tori went to hung out with the teens and I went with Maddie to get my dear love.... when I got in the cabin in was in bed in his PJ'S!!!!! So I asked Maddie what she wanted to do with mommy and she say's " mom I am sleepy can I go to bed?" OK I walk her back to her cabin get her in bed and walk back to my cabin....
YES YES YES I was MAD!
Our 1st Valentine's day together as husband and wife and the 1st one in person!
So what do I do?
Nothing I got in bed and put a movie on and wish I had the two best men that never let me down that's right I had two men in my life each year for years that on Valentine's day would be my date..... Ben and Jerry's ice cream! But that night it was just one man MICKEY... that's right I order a Mickey ice cream and then I went to sleep.....

Next day back in Miami
