I have already booked our hotel through DVC points and bought our tickets. I was wondering, what are some romantic/awesome themed restaurants that aren't on the signature price level that y'all recommend?

We really like Rainforest cafe.. join Landrys club for $25 you will get $30 plus $25 for your birthday in credit and get in faster when there is a long lines

I hear good things about Sanaa at Animal Kingdom Lodge and I think that's not a signature.

Ah we have always wanted to try Sana. We went to Jiko two years back and it was amazing. Animal kingdom lodge is our favorite.

My boyfriend walked into the Mexico pavilion, saw San Angel Inn restaurant, and now wants to eat there because the "atmosphere" looks nice. SO maybe that?

the food is not that good there. Great atmosphere like you said. The other Mexican restaurant has better food. Don’t know what is open because of covid and reduce crowds.

Oh I have no doubt. I already don’t like Mexican food that much so I doubt I’ll enjoy it but gotta be fair in the relationship.

The 2 that sprang to mind are already listed here Sanaa or Nomad Lounge.

Sanaa can be very romantic to watch the animals together. It's not inexpensive but there are creative ways to order there without breaking the bank. The Bread Service is fun to order.
We followed advice from the boards and our first visit turned out awesome. We had a 4:45p ADR so there'd still be plenty daylight to look out while we ate, and we showed up 20 minutes early to request window table which they granted. We finished with Sanaa just in time to watch the sunset and go sit out back by the fire pit. Very cozy and you can continue looking th the animals with the night vision binoculars AKL shares out in back.

Nomad Lounge is a great pick too. Outdoor can be quite romantic, especially if you can get seated at one of couches. It's not as expensive as table service because they menu is small plates. Great place to take an afternoon break in AK. Quiet and serene which ups the romance factor over most other TS.

Sci-Fi is different but could be a good choice as well. It's has that classic date night vibe and getting a couple burgers isn't much more expensive than some QS. Get to sit close and watch the movie shorts, maybe share a shake. And now with distancing I think you'll get the car all to yourselves.

chefs de france would be my choice , nice atmosphere and can be done on a decent budget.
