Hi everyone. Dh and I are planning a trip in September, this will be the first time we've gone in september and I'm just wondering what to expect. We want to see the non christmas fireworks (We always go in November) but naturally we don't like the crowds, so we thought if we went Sunday we could see the fireworks and then Monday and Tuesday we should have light crowds days. But can someone confirm that they do generally have the fireworks Sunday evenings in September? Also is there any way I can check if there is a convention or holidays taking place September 7-9, or do you think that should be a fairly uncrowded time?

bump. I know someone out there knows if they typically have fireworks sunday's in september.

Fireworks on Fri and Sat. is how I remember it too. My DD8 is offtrack during Sept. and we go quite often during that month. Sept. is a good time to go and if the fall decorations are up, it's really beautiful!

What dates are you planning on being there, XTinabell? My sister trip is tentatively scheduled for September 7th through the 10th or 11th. I planned this for the same reasons you did, I thought the shows would be available to us on Sunday.

Maybe it would be better to switch to the back half of the week, so that our last day is on Friday? This way we could enjoy the low crowds during the weekdays but not miss the shows.

That's exactly what I'm thinking of doing too. I've never seen the Remember fireworks because we always go at christmas time so I would hate to miss them, but that means taking more time off work. We were planning to go September 7-9 or 10th. but now I may need to rethink this.

Usually they do not do Fantasmic during this time on a Sunday-Thurs, but I have seen the fireworks. I don't know anything about this year, but I would think that based on previous years, they would have at least the fireworks. But at least this will be a nice uncrowded time for you! Sun-wed is the best in Disneyland!

Have fun!

Well I hate to say it but I don't really care about fantasmic. It's a great show, but I've never seen the Remember fireworks so that's the only reason I wanted to hit a weekend day. We've changed our dates to Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, so hopefully we'll still have low crowds and hopefully they'll have fireworks on the Friday. With my luck it will be windy and they won't show on friday and I'll have changed my dates for no reason, oh well what can you do?

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: That would be bad luck, XTinabell! Hopefully that isn't the case. We are moving the sister trip to Tue, Wed, Thur and Friday, so we will be there in the crowd at the castle, waiting for the show! :thumbsup2
