Sorry about the Anthony issues...frustrating. I know what you mean about not wanting him to go out of guilt, though. That would just make for a bad trip...he doesn't want to be there, feels like he was pushed to go, etc.....not a good way to take a vacation!

Your girls look so lovely in their Easter dresses. Don't worry about Anthony's hair.....my 12 year old son looked just like it. It's the thing right now. However, he did finally break down and cut it when he got tired of it taking so long to dry it.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that Anthony decides to go with you guys. I really think he'll regret it if he bypasses the trip.

Anthony let his hair grow out before when he was about 10. But he has very curly hair and it kinda looked cool. His hair right now in this picture is straightened with a straightener. He does this and then doesn't wash his hair for a few days so it stays straight. It actually looked pretty cute until it got TOO long.

Lovely pictures! Your mom's puppy sure is adorable-- and the girls look so sweet in their Easter dresses! I think this was the nicest Easter (weather wise) I've ever had!
Try not to get too stressed over Anthony-- a) the hair! DBF has a much younger brother (he's 13) who absolutely refuses to get his hair cut. He says he's going to for the Ashton Kutcher long hair look I think he looks ridiculous and he is constantly pushing his hair out of his eyes to see. However-- it is hair! Chop it, dye it, whatever. Always grows back if that's what he really wants after the wedding!
b) the trip. I definitely understand how unsettling this must be for you. I think you guys just need to let him know that while you'd like for him to go, you only want him to come along if he truly wants to. At that age, making up so much schoolwork would be hard. I'm glad you've made a point of saying that whatever his decision is, it needs to be final. No wavering. Let us know how it goes!

Would making everyone talk about the trip on the way home make everyone sad? I have to say I understand the drive home I sure will feel much longer than down.

MNSSHP: I am going to get my shortly after they released--I watched the tickets to see if the dates we would be going sold out and did not appear either did--though they mentioned close to being sold out. You can buy them directly through the Disney site.

POR: We are looking forward to staying there--I think it will be really nice. I do not blame you for wanting to save the money. We do not have a water view room--I figured it would not matter what the view was since we were not that concerned with it. We did put a request in to be close to transportation, so that means Building 15 or another one, I forget which because of medical issues. If Anthony goes, than you will not be able to do POR correct? You would stay at ASSports?

As for the resorts, if Anthony decides not to come, the 5 of us get to stay at Port Orleans, if he does come, everything will stay as it is. We have a family suite at ASMusic reserved for the 6 of us.

This morning as I was walking Sam into school, I was telling her how pretty she looked in her new Princess Tiana shirt. She then asked me if Princess Tiana will be at Disney. I told her yes, I already heard that people were visiting her. I also told her that Prince Naveen was there. This is the sweet part...... She said " As the prince or as the frog?" I told her as the prince. This made my whole morning. The Disney magic is so real to her, that she had to ask if Naveen would be in his human form or frog form. I LOVE IT!!!! Makes me, so badly, want to be there right now!

My Mom just dropped the puppy off to get groomed. Her fur is a mess. They have to trim her down pretty short this time, but in the future my Mom wants her a little shaggy. Her fur was a little matted they said. They told my Mom that their first puppy hair does this, but when it grows back, she won't have that problem. So, i'll post pics tomorrow of the "new" puppy!

POR (Actually I was looking at CBR) would be $2720 with Free Dining --- a difference of $500!! OH, boy....what do I do???? In a way I want to be cheap and stay with ASMu, but it's ONLY $500 more!! And this is our honeymoon!!!.....ugh!

I've seen a lot of teenage boys with hair like Anthony's. It's a good thing we don't have a boy because I'm certain Joe would be dragging him to the barber and unaccepting of new trends.

Your Mom's puppy is really cute. She looks so fluffy and cuddly. I love the name "Maggie" also.

I figured you'd all say that! I didn't want to make it too easy, so I figured i'd throw you off. And I did.

The little weasel is not coming! That is his final answer. Not that i'm happy about it, but after him being so sure last weekend that he did not want to go, and then saying maybe because we told him we'd feel bad, I would be pretty sure that if he said yes it would just be out of guilt.
This will be the first vacation we've ever taken without him. It's going to be very different. I know at numerous points during the trip i'll be thinking about him and how we would have enjoyed what we were doing. As I type it out and realize that he's really not going, I feel so bad. He used to love doing "anything" with us, didn't matter what it was as long as we were doing something together. I hope my girls do not do that to me, I will be crushed. I know teenagers much prefer their friends over family for quite a few years, but I never denied vacations for it.
Oh, I guess i'll get over it! I know Manny is sad about it too.

That's what i'm trying to think! I know he'll regret his decision as we're talking about packing and getting ready to go. But..... it is what it is I guess. I also looked at my park plans today and I can tweak a bit. Which is a good thing. On the first rope drop MK day I had us going over to the Tomorrowland Indy speedway. Anthony wanted to do that last trip and we didn't get to, once because of it being mid afternoon with a huge line and the other two times were because it was closed due to the rain. Well, we can now worry about heading straight to Princess Tiana. We'll also plan on hanging out a lot more in Fantasyland. My trips have always been geared toward everyone. It's now turing around a little to be geared toward 3 princesses. Kind of exciting. No No, i'm sorry, 5 princesses. (Makenzie and Jordyn as well)

Pam, I just thought of something...

You have a pin for free QSDP, right? Are you going to stay with that if they release regular dining? I'm only wondering b/c I think that the mods & deluxes might get offered regular free dining while values get QSDP. I don't know if that will mess with your plans as well.

We have the QSDP pin and we're going to keep it regardless, we decided this trip we wanted to be more relaxed with only a couple OOP ADRs. Anyway, didn't know if you had considered that you might get regular dining for free if you are at POR.
