It's on! I must warn you though, i'm not much of a morning person. I did not attempt 1 morning EMH day on our last trip. We like to be out late and sleep in a little! Yes, even in Disney, or we'll all be miserable and I mainly mean Manny. Me and the kids can adapt to anything.

Just read through most of your trip report! sounds exciting!! We went for our Disneymoon last year, but I didn't get a chance to finish it before grad school applications ate me (yum yum). My TR got closed, but I'm hoping they'll reopen it soon...

I am along for the ride and living vicariously through you!

For dining, we did Chef Mickey's for brunch (11AM) and it was actually pretty good - we didn't expect a lot but the character interactions were really nice. I can't say too much about the food since we keep kosher and get special food there (I Disney for doing that) but the atmosphere was pretty top notch, IMHO.

We LOVED Sci-fi as well - the atmosphere was amazing! It's a great "date nite" type place, since we were in a car facing forward, but they had cars that were more traditional table like.

Akershus was AMAZING also for character interactions. It's pretty small, but we got a nice interaction with each princess and I enjoyed meeting Belle I highly recommend that - and we got a good selection of princesses. I forget everyone, but it was definitely Arielle, Aurora, Snow White and I am forgetting who else.

The Wave (in the Contemporary, literally three steps from MK) was actually really nice too - more like a family restaurant than a kids restaurant and a great break from being overly Disney-fied. Ummm...I think that's all my reqs for right now! Can't wait to hear what you come up with!!

Yeah, I may have to switch that! Plus we'd get that night time EMH on our last night, that would be cool. After the Wishes Cruise we could go back into the park. But I might cry on that pretty boat watching wishes on the night before we leave. Oh, I'm gonna have to find another day to stick that wishes cruise into. I can't do that! I"m a sap!

Hello.... Finally a day off from my crazy schedule of work but its all for disney is what i tell myself every morning.

Looks like the hours are out! I havent made out plan days or even looked at them Im slacking I know. Looking at yours days def mk on the mnsshp night (since in 2007 it rain the hole time)day, typhoon day, Aminal kingdon, and Hollywood studios. We have to ride together mtn everest, rock n roller coaster (if its open in 07 it was close in sept just remember) tower of terror! I just asked makenzie if she is going to go on Mtn everest again and she said no! I said but Me and Pam and i think emily will be going on it and she looked at me funny then I remembered that she doesnt know yet that we are going to together! So I change the subject and asked about the alice in wonderland movie! As of right now we are not going to do blizzard beach but things can change!

I def think we are going to do jetblue on the way there but maybe southwest on the way back depending on pricing.

Its only be three years since we have been but I feel like I dont know what im doing anymore! Its crazy!

Lizzie starts her instructional basketball league today at 12:30. So cute! I will take some pictures and post them later, she's very excited! Ok, gotta get ready to go!

And of course i've been looking at the park hours some more and talking to Nicole and I believe there will be a few days changing! So, we'll look at them some more later!

Now, I already had a basic idea on my plans, even though, once I looked at the park hours those plans did change, but that's fine! And also, now that my friend will be coming with us, I figure i'll see if she wants to make a schedule of what she wants to do on which days and then we'll get together and see if we want to change things to match up.(Which i'm sure we will) Sound good to you Nicole? This way, we'll both have a say in what we want to do and then we'll go from there. And, we don't have to do exactly the same things every day, even though the kids will want to, I want everyone to get to do what they want.....meaning me and nicole, we are after all, the ones that plan and pay for these trips for months!!!!

So, here they are!!! I AM SO DARN EXCITED!!!!


I just realized that our days will cross. We will also be at EPCOT on 9/19.

Sunday 9/19: If we drive we should be there by 8am. If we change our minds and end up flying with Nicole, we will fly out Saturday night on Jetblue, we'll get there late, but we'll be ready first thing sunday morning.
I figure once we get there,whether we flew in the night before or are just getting there, we can check out the resort, swim, eat. And then we will spend the rest of that day at Epcot! (9a-9p)

Maybe we can meet and say hello since we will both be there the same day?

Monday 9/20: Typhoon Lagoon. Emily must swim with the sharks, isn't that so sweet? She's so funny! and this night we will go over to the Boardwalk and rent surrey bikes, which we wanted to do last year, but didn't get to it) and then play Mini golf.

We have never done the water parks. I hear that they are a blast. I've always wanted to rent the surrey bikes too. Hmm, wonder if I can fit that in this year?

Tuesday 9/21: Magic Kindgom day! This is the night of MNSSHP!! (7p-12a)

This will be my first day back to work.

Wednesday 9/22: Animal Kingdom (EMH 5p-8p) I figure we'll need to sleep in if we'll be in MK til 12a, so we'll get a later start at AK and stay til 8pm

I've never been at DAK after 5. Wonder what KS is like during the evenings?

Thursday 9/23: MK (EMH 8a-9a) This is the night I am going to book the Wishes Cruise!!!

I love the Wishes Cruise. We did our first one last September. Scheduling another one this year too. We had a cake delivered to the boat last year. It basically melted though. We won't be doing that again in September!

Friday 9/24: DTD, Disney Quest, and we'll be renting a boat again like last year.

How was the boat rental?

Saturday 9/25: DHS (EMH 8a-9a)

Sunday 9/26: Blizzard Beach for a few hours in the morning and end our last night at Epcot with Illuminations!

I am debating if I want to switch Thursday and sunday. If we go to the MK on our last day they have EMH at night. So, that might be better. I'll see what Nicole thinks of that!!!

What does everyone think? I signed up for touring plans last year, but didn't this year, if anyone has a subscription to that, are any of my days NO NOs according to them? I know last year, they did say to skip the days with EMH, but of course, we want to do EMH!!!!

Your plans sound great to me! I signed up for TGM last year and didn't use it. I didn't find it helpful to be honest. What did you think about it last year?

I used touring plans and I thought they were right on! I'm sure i'll end up signing back up for this year too, just because there was a lot of other stuff that I could do on the website too.




So, Lizzie did good at basketball today. It was really cute. I took pictures and I thought i'd get them on the computer today, but we're actually about to bake cupcakes, so i'll definitely do it in the morning!!!!

So I just got a call from my boss and our friend Frank's dad passed away on saturday. He was 66 and Frank and his dad were so close, he must be devastated. I am so sad for him and his family today. He has 3 little boys that love their grandfather so much and I just cry when I think of them. His dad always used to bring them into work at night to say hi to us! We're going to go to his wake tomorrow night. Oh, how I hate these things. Not that anyone likes them. I know i'm going to be a mess when I see him, his wife and his kids crying! Oh, and his mom, I can't even imagine

I also uploaded the pictures from basketball, so here they are. I got some good action shots! Lizzie was also happy to see quite a few of her friends from school, they were so cute together.
There was a main coach and then his helpers were kids that were on the High school basket ball team. They were all so good with the kids. I'll make sure to give them all a complement to the principle at the end.

( I had to go in and take some pics out, sorry. One of the coaches had a shirt on with our city on it and I definitely don't like to flaunt that around)

Well, I had plans to go over my park plans again this morning and i'm going to try, but i'm really just kind of sad now, so not sure how far i'll get with that. It just a reminder of how we stress and get upset over petty things, when there is far worse that could be going on.

I just love those basketball camp pictures. Lizzie looks like she's having fun. Any more progress on the wedding plans? I was looking at my dress today figuring out where I'm going to add material in.......yes, I really don't think I will be fitting into it by September. I'm thinking I can take some material from either side of the skirt and sew it into the body under the arms. That will be a project and a half, but doable. There's really not much to do at this point. Just waiting.......

Thanks everyone! I have this wake to go to tonight. We'll all take turns and go a few at a time from work tonight. This is actually not a night i'm usually scheduled but someone was out and I am covering, so that works out well. Oh, I am dreading this so badly! I hate seeing people so sad, especially when I really care about them. My boss worked with this guy for years before she got the position she has now.


Anyway, i'm still working on my park plans, a few things may change, i'm still thinking. I guess I have plenty of time but I just want to know exactly what I will be doing on September 19th I laugh, but I really want to know!

So Emily was late for school this morning because we got out of the truck to go in and her backpack was not there She thought I grabbed it and I assumed she had it (Silly me, right!!!) It was just funny, we both looked at each other like "where is it" duh!!!!

So, my plans did not change drastically, but just a little. Here they are and this looks good to me for now until I sit down with Nicole and see what she wants to do!


Sun 9/19: We'll most likely be arriving on saturday, so we'll have a full day! I would like to start off at Epcot!! I for some reason, cannot wait, with everything I have to get back on Test Track!

Mon 9/20: Typhoon Lagoon. Boardwalk, rent surrey bikes, play mini golf

Tues 9/21: Magic Kingdom, MNSSHP

Wed 9/22: Animal Kingdom (emh 5-8)

Thurs 9/23: Downtown Disney, Disney Quest, renting a boat!

Fri 9/24: Blizzard Beach, Epcot (EMH 9p-12a)

Sat 9/25: DHS (EMH 8a-9a) although not sure if we'll make emh if we're at Epcot til 12a, but then again, even if we weren't, still not sure if we'd make 8am.

Sun 9/26: Magic Kingdom (EMH 8p-11p)

Monday 9/27: If we drive we'll leave when we wake up around 8am. If we fly, Nicole would like to take a later flight out and I would add and extra park day here. Not sure which park for a few hours, maybe we'll leave it open and decide where we wanted to get a few more things done at?

Also if we do fly and go jetblue, we'd arrive late saturday night. Southwest did not release those dates yet, that's on March 23rd. If their flights are just as cheap we would probably get in earlier on saturday. Not sure what we would do if that happened, we'll think about that if that's the case. Maybe just swim, relax, go over to the poly beach and watch the spectromagic parade and wishes! Ride the monorail, and all of that little stuff that I love to do!! Sounds good to me!!! I'd like to be there right now please!
