Wow, I haven't been on the dis all weekend! I feel weird

Saturday I was getting stuff together for work and cleaning. We had a superbowl saturday party at work that night! Lots of food!
Sunday I went to the bridal show!!! I took the girls with me and picked up my bridesmaid, Brittany! Manny and Anthony cleaned up for the superbowl party and went out to get some more snacks and stuff.
We had an awesome time! There were so many vendors there. We got to look at EVERYTHING. Invitations, cakes, which we got to sample. OH YUM!!! Centerpieces, linens, decorations, dance lessons! I got to wear a sticker that said BRIDE on it. So everyone knew to focus on the bride! I got roses!
So this place has a big lobby where some vendors were set up and the pianist was playing. The pianist was so good that.... guess what , we booked him for our ceremony!!!!
Then there are 3 rooms! The smallest one was the one we originally booked, but decided there wasn't enough beauty in that room, we upgraded to the middle sized room. I was hoping that room was decorated with tables, centerpieces etc, but it was the small room that was. This room and the biggest one had all of the vendors set up, but I snapped 2 pics anyway just to give you an idea.
This is standing halfway in the room and looking straight ahead, the room still goes out to the left and to the right. It's huge!!!
This is the bar to the left
The small room had lights and tables set up
The biggest room had a ton of vendors in there, even someone offering dance lessons, there were a "bride and groom" dancing on the dance floor.
This was the chocolate fountain the girls kept going back to. There was an entire table full of cookies, marshmallows, etc... to dip under the flowing chocolate!!! OH YUM!!!
I ended up with so many freebies, like "the knot" bridal magazines, magnets, pins, flowers!
The man offering the dance lessons was giving away a free lesson to everyone that went today. So, he'll be contacting us soon! That will be fun!
We samples some different types of chicken. One was coconut chicken. We weren't sure at first, but oh my god it was GOOD!!
And best of all ,we found our DJ !!!!!! That was my goal for sunday!! This is no ordinary DJ. She actually gets on the dance floor and leads all of these fun and crazy dances! She can also simmer down a bit if you want her to, but no way, she's amazing. At one point she was dancing and shaking the whole floor around her. HERE SHE IS!!! With her butt stuffed and a wig on. She was dancing to Apple bottom jeans, not sure if that's the real name of the song, but they sing about a big butt, so she had one.
I am so happy with her, I am still smiling today, just thinking about her! And the best part was if you booked with her yesterday you got $100 off. So I was doing this

Until I saw the prices, then Brittany and I were doing this

It was $625 for the 5 hour reception. Well, that alone is a GREAT price, that didn't even include the $100 off though! She is costing us $525. I couldn't believe it! She's worth so much more than that! We had to book with $150, so we owe $375

There were other DJs just standing there looking pretty telling you that they would DJ for you for $1125 for 6 hours

and I am not kidding. How on earth was anyone else there going to compete with this chic. They so were not!!!!
And then we came home and had my Dad and his girlfriend over for the super bowl. We ordered Pizza and the kids were not interested in the game at all, not even Anthony, he would just run out for the funny commercials.
So, as you can imagine I am so happy today!
We got the DJ for the reception
We got the pianist for the ceremony, who is from Rachels. It's so pretty! That is $125 for an hour. So he will play while the guests are coming and sitting and then of course through the ceremony! I can't even believe it!!
