A Summer Wedding and a Disney Trip CANCELLED, HELP DECIDE WHEN WE'LL GO IN 2011

On CBR. I can't wait until we get there in May. I booked a preferred room because of the resort size. Even though Pop isn't a huge resort Dale hated the walk to the food court. We were lucky enough to have a pool right by our room though. I think we are going to enjoy staying at CBR.

I love Emily's costume idea...one year I dressed Gwendolyn up as Frankenstien's wife (that is what I pictured when you said the ballroom scene)...I bought a used wedding dress, you could do something like that and shred the bottom out to thin it out (to make it cooler) and give it the illusion of decay. We put baby powder on her skin and sprinkled in her hair with some dark shadow along the bone lines and under the eyes...HAVE FUN WITH IT!

CBR! great resort choice!!! we are leaning that way for the Nov trip if we go mod and POP if we chose value... and I think if I had four kids going I would prefer to fly too! so you don't have to hear she is in my space and so on

Ooo, thanks for the costume ideas. I figured I was going to go with a wedding dress type thing and shredding the bottom sounds great. I knew I was looking for something to give it the decay look! I never thought of the baby powder, that's great!

Yippie!!! An Animal Kingdom Day- that is awesome!!!!! Where can you find those Planet Earth animals- they look so soft and adorable!!!

That is also great that you are booking soon- I'm sure the girls are really excited!!!

I believe the planet earth animals were bought at walmart. Toys r us sells them too I believe, but I don't always see them! walmart and toys r us' websites will most likely have them too!

So, we started off by watching the planet earth dvds. They were super cool, and geared towards kids. So they were able to learn all about the animal without watching things eat each other, like on animal planet! They were about 30 minutes long and we just kept popping them in while we were eating, we had popcorn chicken and fries during our "animal picnic". They didn't even lose interest because every 30 min there would be a new one in. I am now in love with elephants, just as Lizzie is, and the penguins are so neat also!

Lizzie's lunch was being attacked by hungry animals!

After the animal movies and lunch I had the girls go hide in the bathroom while I got the Safari ready! They didn't know it was a Safari, I just told them I had a game to play. They were very excited when they found out. I made them put on their "Safari gear" and they each went one by one. They had a checklist of which animals they were supposed to find and they had my camera, they had to take a picture of each animal on their list and then check it off! And by the grace of god, nobody broke my camera

So, they were ready to go!

Emily went first and got some pictures!

Lizzie went next!

Then Sam!!!

They each had 6 different animals to find! Sam's polar bears were in the fridge! And Em's penguin was in the kitchen sink! Liz's Chimp was hanging from the curtain! They had so much fun with this we had to do it again. This time was in the dark though, they had the flashlights.... even better!!!!

Oh, Pam....How adorable was your safari night!! That's awesome! Victoria is much "too old" to do something like that (or so she'd tell you! 11 going on 20, you know!). I did catch your message on Karen's pre-trip report and yes, I am doing the wedding thing now BEFORE I go to Disney! OMG!! I think I'm crazy! So, you are planning on having beta's in your centerpieces, too? I thought I was crazy for that, but a beach wedding, why not have fish?! . I just sent a letter off to the resort I am planning on having the wedding at, so we'll see if this all comes together. It's only going to be a small one, so it should be just fine. I've already picked out some vases (99 cents at Goodwill, baby) and some royal blue ribbon (Wal-Mart, Christmas clearence for 50 cents). I need to pick up some shells at AC Moore or Michaels. Now, here's the kicker.......Victoria still wants our Disney trip to be just her and I......yeah, I'll get married on the 18th, spend a few days with my new hubby and then take off on the 23rd to Disney with Victoria......hmmmm.....still working that little detail out!

What a great idea!!! I'm so glad they had fun Pam, I wonder if my girl is too old for this. I bet she would LOVE doing it in the dark with a flashlight. Maybe we can find a way to incorporate this into our movie day, is there a safari-type Disney movie out there??? Hmmmmm

Congrats on the wedding! You must be so excited! Yeah, I was thinking about betas! We've seen some pretty neat centerpieces people have made up using them! And our wedding, although, not on a beach will be by a lake, so we'd like to roll with that summery theme!
And as for your trip to Disney! I think it would be really nice to all go together and i'm sure your "new husband" will enjoy it too! I'm planning on making tank tops, like I did for my last trip for me and Manny this time too. I'll post the design that someone made for me for our honeymoon. I'm also planning on wearing the honeymoon celebration pins. It will be a really nice time for you guys too, i'm sure! I know I want to eat at Coral Reef on our first night, just because it looks pretty romantic and still neat for the kids at the same time!

Yeah, once we did it in the dark with the flashlight, it put a whole new spin on it! It was creepy and fun!

First of all: Not tomorrow but the next day, my ticker will no longer say 8 months!!! I love when it changes, Ooo, it feels so close now!

Second: I had some more designs made up for our tank tops that i'm making for Disney again! I cannot wait to start them, we enjoyed doing this so much last time. Every time we cranked out another shirt we would all be amazed. Even Manny!

So this is our design for MNSSHP, during the day, before we get into costume!

And here is Me and Manny's design! I've been looking for one and when I saw this one, I knew it was what I wanted!

So, that's that! Emily is home from school today. She started with a cough yesterday morning and last night she was still coughing and had a sore throat. This morning was the same, we just got home a little while ago, Emily, Sam and I went out to lunch after we picked Sam up, cause Em was feeling better. It is my Mom's birthday today! We're having a little party for her this weekend. By the time we got home though, her cheeks were beat red and she had a fever... Lovely! So, now we're just gonna relax for the rest of the night! Oh, also, Emily came in my room last night around 3:00am "Mom, my tooth fell out" Well, she lost her first molar and oh my god did the damn thing bleed for a half hour!
TOOTH FAIRY COMES TONIGHT!!! And don't ask me if my kids still believe, cause I don't think they'll ever tell me that they don't. I don't wanna hear that! I tell them that if they don't believe then Santa/Easter bunny/ tooth fairy does not come! Emily obviously knows i'm joking with a few things like lifesize bunnies and fairies but Santa, she's still not sure about Oh, I know when my kids are adults with kids of their own they are going to look back and laugh at how nutty I was! And that's exactly what I'm after!

When park hours come out and we all really know our schedule we can plan something!
And that is true, the trip is still 8 months away, so maybe she will feel differently about him going by then!

I will definitely have to check out Wal*Mart because those animals are just adorable !!!!!! I did check out Toys 'R Us online but didn't see much of anything. Your Safari day looked absolutely awesome . I will have to try to do something like that a little easier on Austin's level . Poor Emily, that really stinks that she wasn't feeling too well. Austin had a cold for about 2 weeks around Christmas that would just not go away - but it finally did!!!!

Can't wait to hear more about your plans!!! If they are chocolate brown, I have the same ones along with the white blinds in the back, with the same off white wall color with white trim, and the same color blue carpeting . Too funny- I had to show Bill and he even got a kick out of it!!!!

8 months say our tickers!!!! Woo hoo!!! Right now we're planning on leaving on a monday, so the only way my ticker will change is if the sunday airfare is just as cheap (which it's usually not, but I have no idea about sept. never flew during the fall) we'll switch to leaving on sunday instead of monday! Just to get a day in that no one is missing school or work! And we would stay until the following monday!

Thanks, I want to make at least 4 tank tops for the kids. The MNSSHP are definites and the wedding ring design is a definite for me and manny! I have a few other designs already made up as well and know i'm using some of them as well!
