We will be at OKW starting Sunday for 5 days. With that said....

Stupid Question: I cannot find a good thread about the refill drink thing. We usually resort hop - so this will be new to us - anyone help me out?

Invitation: Anyone up for a drink at the "Suitcase" - Let me know!

Thanks - later.

I'm not sure, but I think Disney stopped the free refill drink mug program they use to have. Sorry

The refillable mug program at OKW was never an active program and the reason is obvious. We all have our own units with refrigerators. It just never made much sense. Also we do not have a food court at OKW.

We too check in Sunday and will be at OKW for 7 nights. We'll have lime green Mickey pins and are a family of four adults.(Myself, my 18 yo sister, our mom, and grandma) Mom and sis post on other forums on the DisBoards.

When I was at OKW in March they were selling the refillable mugs at the Goods to Go (main pool snack bar). According to allearsnet, they are $11.99. They call be refilled at Goods to Go or Turtle Shack (Turtle Pond Road pool). If you are spending alot of time at the pool, I could see buying one but it would be cheaper and more convenient to buy liters in the store and keep it in your room fridge.

Rats, I'd love to join you at the "Gurgling Suitcase" if we were going to be there that week. Maybe I can convince DH that we have to go? (Got an invitation-it would be rude to decline!) Don't think it will work, so you'll just have to have a SUltry Seahorse or a Coolaid (can't remember the whole name) for me. We love to get drinks there, then sit along the little Boardwalk, watching the world go by.

We'll be there...arriving on June 1...I'll keep an eye open for those lime green Mickey pins...I'll be wearing mine courtesy of Home Depot and some home laminating equipment...contact paper. And might I say those drinks sound quite refreshing...just might have to swing by that "Suitcase" and give 'em a whirl.

As for the refillable mugs...I'm pretty sure I saw that they are still available, but like the previous posters said, with the fridge in the room it's a better price to keep some drinks in the room unless you plan to spend a lot of time near the pool. We have always bought them in the past, but don't plan to this year for that reason...drinks in the room fridge.

CYA round OKW!!
