It wasn't a " milestone" BD..thats next year but I would describe the whole time ( mostly...more about that later ) as AWESOME I may be heading back to WDW later today as I am still in my " Happy Zone" so bear with me on update


For Pluto fans Trivia...

This was driving me crazy so I FINALLY got an answer to Pluto Speaks Apparently though finding a copy of this video to own is going to be harder than getting a copy of " Song of the South" in the US

Love, love, love the Pluto birthday stuff!! I'm ashamed to say I'm not too sure about the answers to the questions. I think they are Rover, Bloodhound and Minnie. As for the bonus question, no idea. Thanks for sharing!

yes you got them right Ariana although Pluto is a Pointer he was a bloodhound, well actually he was 2 bloodhounds in 1930 The Chain Gang and then they morphed him into 1 I had MANY conversations with the other characters about Pluto during this stay The conversations were both funny and kind of sad Many did not know it was his birthday, many didn't know he was a Pointer, many were really happy to learn more about him It was fun ! I felt like Plutos PR person !

BONUS Answer : Though Pluto is known for being a non-speaking character, he actually does speak briefly in The Moose Hunt. When Mickey believes he has (accidentally) shot Pluto, he weeps and begs the dog to speak to mesay something! At that, Pluto sits up and says, Kiss me! while batting his eyelashes. I can picture this ! Can't you ??

Thank you she's a very special girl I think having all the others has kept her young too Truth be told I think her hearing is starting to go but I am amazed at how clear her eyes are Funny story, my Dad ( rest his soul ) pretended he was absolutely horrified when I told him her name " WHAT ! you're taking the name of that beautiful film and giving it to a DOG"

we had a great laugh over that one as he was a bigger animal lover than me...yes that is possible..I got him back though with the teasing as his birthday was 9/16 and I said to him " Well I could have named her after YOU and just spelled Tony with an I ...he sort of reacted like this

I can't imagine what you went through on that day, I know how difficult it was working in a "border" city that day and we were a long way from New York! Everyone has a story from that day but to be so near must have been so frightening! I'm wishing you peace on this day of memories. Ruth
