I cannot believe this. for the past couple of years I have kept these nice cushioned chairs on my porch. they've been fine and look wonderful and have been great to have out there.
this past week my husband yelled to me to come outside. one of the seat cushions had been decimated. I mean clawed and pulled apart with most of the insides mia. we were baffeled. never saw anything like it, and couldn't figure out what was going on or what had done it.
well, we caught the little guy today. looked outside just as he was getting going on another one. he's ripping it to shreds and carting the stuffing off to (I assume) his nest.
guess I have to put away the rest of my furniture early. but I can't help but wonder what on earth this means, if anything. are we in for a long/cold (well, more so than normal) winter or something? do squirrels normally act like this? anyone have any thoughts/experience here?
