Day 13
Monday 24th February 2020
Part 1 – Boarding Pass or BUST!

GOOD MORNING RECRUITS.

This was probably my favourite day of the whole trip!!!
And what a long day it was.

We got up at 6am to try our luck at getting a boarding pass for the brand new Rise of the Resistance attraction at Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge!
This was February 2020 and it had only just opened in December, so the whole boarding pass thing was new to us (and everyone else).
I’d done a lot of reading in preparation!
At the time of our trip, you had to be scanned into the park and refreshing the My Disney Experience app at 8am ON THE DOT for any chance at all of getting on this ride!

Then we left the room at 6:50am!

50746526888_825163dc93_b.jpg

We waited only 5 or 10 minutes for a bus, and we were pulling into Hollywood Studios at 7:20am!

50747270236_7599e12d3a_b.jpg

50747373957_b206e93179_b.jpg

There were already a lot of people at the entrance, oh my goodness!
The fact that everybody was here for the exact same reason made me super excited, but also a bit sad for the people who had made the effort to be here to potentially not get a boarding pass.

50746528333_805627bf85_b.jpg

We got past bag check and through the tapstiles, and decided to just hang out in front of the Chinese Theatre until the drama started at 8am.

50746528248_b60d60de8a_b.jpg

50747383832_a2f016737c_b.jpg

The previous night I’d read on the DIS that there were a couple of different methods for being successful, so Jamie and I mixed it up a bit.
I was on the wifi, and would have the app closed then open it up at 8am and try to join.
Jamie was using mobile data, and would have the app open, refreshing the ‘join boarding group’ page.
I was super excited and kept opening the app and shutting it down again, way before 8am!

Then at like 30 seconds to 8am there was an announcement…
Fingers at the ready…
And at about 5 seconds to 8am, people around us started cheering!

HECK!

Jamie had been frantically refreshing the page but his boarding group button was still greyed out…
I quickly closed my app and restarted it…
I saw the Mickey fireworks page…
I clicked the Star Wars section on the main page…

And BOOM.
ONE BOARDING GROUP PLEASE!

I selected myself and Jamie, confirmed, and we got Boarding Group 44!!!

50746528138_8b080c4cc9_c.jpg

WOOO!

50747383707_b91af45fdb_b.jpg

I was so thrilled because boarding groups 1-60 are ‘guaranteed boarding groups’, meaning you’re guaranteed to ride today, and if for whatever reason the ride has a complete meltdown, you get a return time for the next day instead.
But anything after boaring group 60 is considered a ‘back up group’, meaning if we get to you, great, if we don’t, tough luck bucko.
Like you can get boarding group 120, but if by park closing they’ve only got through to group 115, then you have to try again next time!
After waiting all day in suspense!
That must really suck.

BUT YAY FOR US!
I was so happy, we both had a big adrenaline rush!
I can’t believe how quickly the passes must have gone!
We were super fast and got 44 out of 60!

People around us were all cheering as they got their boarding groups and it made me emotional haha.
I was so happy for everyone.
But then Jamie dragged me down from cloud nine by saying that it must be so sad to not get a group and have everyone around you keep cheering…!

The park was really busy already with huge lines forming as soon as everyone had their boarding passes.
However, since discovering our anytime fastpass glitch on MDE yesterday (6x anytime fastpasses, as well as all of the fastpasses we’d previously booked becoming anytime fastpasses for that ride!) we were able to take it easy!
We were just hanging out in front of the Chinese Theatre, while the crowds were queuing to get into Toy Story Land all the way down to Voyage of the Little Mermaid!

We decided to put our fastpass glitch theory to the test on this new day,
We had Tower of Terror and Rock n Roller Coaster fastpasses booked for this afternoon, however at 8am, both rides already had lines at over an hour!

50746538113_6d6c428760_b.jpg

So we strolled up to the Rock n Roller Coaster fastpass line, tapped our bands, and the Mickey’s flashed GREEN!
We checked MDE and sure enough, instead of using an anytime fastpass, it had just used the Rock n Roller Coaster fastpass we’d pre-booked for this afternoon!
We were on the ride at 8:15am!
I don’t know what else we would’ve done on this busy busy day!

Our faces when MDE glitches are on our side:

50747274906_2ce0b4131d_b.jpg

50747383672_b0066def69_b.jpg

Then we did the same thing at Tower of Terror, using our afternoon fastpass at 8:20am!

50746537663_9fec5c9d69_b.jpg

50746533438_742fae228e_b.jpg

As you can see, we were extremely happy with how our morning is going, while everyone else joins the 60+ minute lines in the park!!!

50747275281_9112aeb0ee_z.jpg

We exited Tower of Terror at 8:45am, haha!

We stopped for some photopass pictures on Sunset Boulevard.
This morning when we were getting ready, Jamie said that he should wear his Donald t shirt and I should wear my Daisy one!
Which I thought was very cute of him.

50747280216_f71731622c_b.jpg

Matching!

50747378827_3f80b51692_c.jpg

We were keeping an eye on boarding groups that were being called, and at 9am they were up to group 21!
Already almost half way there!

50747373507_130bdf35e1_c.jpg

We figured we’d hopefully be called between 10 and 11am.

We had a look around this Pixar shop which I think is new?
It was really cute!

50746527148_4e1972691d_b.jpg

50746537528_2bbf077468_b.jpg

We sent a picture to Rob and Fran in our Come In Star Command group chat, of Jamie in character for his group chat ‘nickname’…!

50747269896_68c1828ec5_c.jpg

We also told them that we’d gotten up early and were going to do Rise of the Resistance!
They were excited for us!
I would’ve loved to have ridden it with them, but I don’t think getting up at the crack of dawn for something is really their vacation style…!

We strolled around for a while, and I had a look at the new exterior for Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway!
This new ride was due to open on March 4th, about a week after we leave Florida!
Oh well, we’ll have to come back!

50746537473_78d602aabb_b.jpg

50747383202_5f060750ed_c.jpg

We walked through Toy Story Land and into Galaxy’s Edge.
We wanted to figure out where we should go once our boarding group was called!
We were very keen haha!

50747383102_1499c04a05_b.jpg

I love how Rise of the Resistance is marked with a stamp on a First Order sign.
Obviously the Resistance wouldn’t have their own sign…
I love that detail!

Day 13
Monday 24th February 2020
Part 2 – Rise of the Resistance!

At 10am we were getting peckish, so we got breakfast at Starbucks!

50746537223_04dbda080d_c.jpg

50747279051_cd35904899_b.jpg

Choices choices…

50747382892_75b007c736_b.jpg

50746537028_a1b528d1f8_b.jpg

I got Starbucks’ version of a sausage McMuffin, and Jamie got a ham, egg and swiss croissant, and we both got a vanilla latte each!

50746536963_0dc5354591_b.jpg

While we were sat eating, Jamie stared off into the distance and said,
“Isn’t it weird how things taste of stuff.”
Hahaha OK THEN?

After breakfast we walked past the citizens of Hollywood!
The blonde woman shouted at me,
“You’re not allowed to look cuter than me!!!”
Hahaha.
Thanks lady, Jamie chose my outfit.
I made a heart shape with my hands to her, and Jamie was like, “ummm obviously she was talking to me!”

50747268846_59ac87aa07_b.jpg

Getting closer!
Come on 44!

50747373417_fe9e754c21_c.jpg

We walked back past the Runaway Railway, and they were doing a cast member preview!
I had a brief thought of trying to sneak my way in somehow, lols.
But I quickly lost interest in my conniving plan because we headed into Galaxy’s Edge…

50747382737_96cf6ebd1e_b.jpg

50747278726_7db9ffa794_b.jpg

And at 10:55 OUR BOARDING GROUP WAS CALLED!

50746527798_be9f8da5b8_c.jpg

HERE WE GO!

50747382587_67ac13753c_b.jpg

50747382497_ab0ff96874_b.jpg

We shuffled through the queue at a good pace, however after about 10 minutes, everything came to a standstill…
They immediately brought free water and food to us all, and even sent Rey through the queue to meet with everyone!
This all happened about 20 minutes after we scanned into the ride, so we were a bit worried we were going to be waiting around for the long haul…!

Star Wars water!

50746536683_492b7b9b82_c.jpg

…And regular crisps and cookies.

50747382362_3f0179d72c_b.jpg

Rey!

50747382412_4d98d8f2df_b.jpg

We played Heads Up for about 20 minutes, drinking our water and eating our cookies and crisps, and soon enough the line was up and moving again.
We felt like we were very well taken care of for such a minor hold up!

50747278451_1bc63afd53_b.jpg

SPOILERS AHEAD!

Soon we were filtered outdoors to board the ship!

50747382217_d7329f7e42_b.jpg

The ship just looks like a prop, like part of the structural scenery.
And since this was technically still the queue, I was just expecting to walk through the door, and go out of the door on the other side.
But the doors closed and there was a whole preshow going on in there!
It was like a simulator similar to Star Tours.

50747382192_7a43abb7f4_b.jpg

The floor was shaking, and I got ready to head out of the door opposite to where we came in.
It was a COMPLETE surprise to me when the same doors we came through opened back up to reveal the HUGE hangar!!
I can’t believe that ship we boarded actually went somewhere, haha!
WHERE DID IT GO?
HOW DID IT GO?
I was pretty mindblown.
This moment was actually one of the highlights for both myself and Jamie.
We were the last ones to enter that preshow ship, so we were right at the front when the doors opened back up and we were confronted face-on by like 50 stormtroopers and the hugest super HD screen I’ve ever seen!
I swear it looks a SO much cooler in person than in anything you’ll see online.
Especially this shaky photo I scrambled to get.

50747382097_21e79bd24d_b.jpg

The first order cast member walked straight up to us through the doors and they were SUPER in character, they were all fantastic.
They were really stern and sassy with us.
Jamie and I enjoyed that hangar room almost as much as the ride itself.

The next room we entered also had fantastic cast members.
They were counting us into our rows, but while they did they all acted really mad with us, obviously, because they were with the First Order and we were with the resistance.
Our CM was staring Jamie out, it was so awkward and funny.
Then he literally told Jamie that he didn’t like his face, and made him turn around and face the wall, haha!
Poor Hymie.

50746536208_f1b23ba555_b.jpg

We were shown to our cell, then thrown into our ride vehicles.
I was happy we were in the front row.
There are only two rows in a little vehicle, but it was nice to have our first ride be completely unobstructed.

I wanted to film some parts but ended up basically filming the whole thing haha!
(On dark rides/night time shows etc I always hold my camera under my chin so that the people behind aren’t annoyed by the screen, plus it means I actually look at my surroundings rather than looking through the camera.)

I love reliving our genuine first reactions in this video clip!
The ride is so incredible!
It’s trackless like Ratatouille in Paris (and now Epcot!) but it’s much faster and more jerky.
The animatronics are incredible, and I have ZERO idea of how all of the effects are done, like the holes that are blasted into the walls right in front of you when you’re shot at, for example.
Also Kylo’s lightsaber in the elevator was so cool, definitely a memorable moment!
OH! And the ATATs!
I was not expecting to go up a level at that point!
SO COOL!
The ride turns into a simulator ride at the end which was also a complete surprise.
It starts with a drop down out of the First Order ship which made me jump!

We both absolutely loved it and wanted to do it again so bad!
Unfortunately that wasn’t possible with the current boarding pass system, but we were so thankful we were able to ride even once!

50746536183_a662143814_b.jpg

We exited Rise of the Resistance and roamed around Galaxy’s Edge for a while!

50746536003_49e7bc95b5_b.jpg

50747277866_187b793317_b.jpg

50746533353_30302cf0ab_b.jpg

50747381747_9a0ffe8d06_b.jpg

We decided to try some blue milk, and I really hated it. Haha!
I’m glad I tried it though.
It tasted ok at first but got worse with every sip.
It tasted a bit like melted ice cream, super sickly.

50746535773_be0c32e25e_b.jpg

50746535738_eef1306f46_c.jpg

Then it was time for us to leave the park!

Day 13
Monday 24th February 2020
Part 3 – Disney’s Skyliner!

We stopped for some cute photos on our way out!

50747379282_d9f913efc7_c.jpg

50746532928_863dc82b9d_c.jpg

50746528828_5230948941_c.jpg

Then we went to do another brand new experience to this year’s trip…
We took the Disney Skyliner from Hollywood Studios to Epcot!
How exciting!

50746535658_69800ebae7_b.jpg

50746535593_abc32f1132_b.jpg

50747277596_3629025ec5_b.jpg

From Hollywood Studios to Caribbean Beach we had a car with almost blacked out windows, which I thought was odd.
Then from Caribbean Beach to Epcot we had clear windows…
Jamie theorised it could be to do with the direction of the sun in the two different locations, but I don’t know.

50747381002_2be3883403_b.jpg

50747277196_47ff8fe756_b.jpg

50747380727_d2335ffc0b_b.jpg

50746534968_5094a96e80_c.jpg

It was reallyyy hot today, but the Skyliner was lovely and breezy.
They’re very well ventilated.
Well ventilated, when they’re moving that is.
I don’t think I’d like to be there when my car is broken down in the hot sunshine…!
But either way, it makes Caribbean Beach much more appealing to me than it once was!
That’s where the central hub is, where you can go direct to both Hollywood Studios and Epcot!

50746534838_d8895d5500_b.jpg

50747276816_08383690bc_b.jpg

We stopped at Riviera before promptly continuing on to Epcot!

50747276721_cff2819309_b.jpg

50747268716_ed0cb8cf5b_b.jpg

Hello backstage Epcot!

50746534643_ea91495a8a_b.jpg

Opening summer 20…?!
With Covid around the corner, who the heck knows!
Maybe this was a bad omen?!

50747380432_dece02d9c8_b.jpg

50747276586_16595b8b5b_b.jpg

50747276531_bb9ea83498_b.jpg

We exited the skyliner at Epcot’s Intenational Gateway!
We had stayed at the Beach Club last year and walked past the skyliner construction all the time, it was great to see it all finished.
Once we’d landed I said “aw, it’s so cool”
And Jamie said, “IT probably thinks that YOU’RE cool” hahaha.
I hope so, thank’s Mr Skyliner.

50746534488_863d039c8d_b.jpg

50747276341_a0f1809261_b.jpg

Jamie suggested that before we go into Epcot we should visit our swing bench at the Beach Club, which is where we got engaged last year!
Isn’t he cute.
We headed over there, but someone was sat on it, how rude.
So we went into the Beach Club to use the bathrooms.

50747380192_fd54e8e283_b.jpg

50746534338_fd181a27c7_b.jpg

We were glad that the Beach Club lobby smelled good again!
The whole place smelled bad when we stayed here last year and unfortunately it really put us off from staying there again.

50747276226_e68748b2f4_c.jpg

We used the restrooms (which FYI, have free lady products if you ever need!) and headed back out, to find our swing bench now free!
So we sat out there for a while, yay.

Day 13
Monday 24th February 2020
Part 4 – “Spaceship Earth is CHEESE”

At 1:30pm we walked through International Gateway into Epcot!
It was the last day Festival of the Arts, but the topiaries for Flower and Garden festival were out!
I’ve never seen these before!

50747379887_6b0374188f_b.jpg

50747379797_b9f19b6186_b.jpg

50747379687_840f1a5396_b.jpg

So cute!

I loved this picture we saw at one of the art stalls.

50747379612_31a4eb56e3_b.jpg

Festival of the Arts has live artists!

50747379577_6567aa3bbf_b.jpg

50747275816_3b78b8de9f_b.jpg

50747372472_a755410113_b.jpg

We looked around the Morocco pavilion, and discovered this Race Against The Sun thing, which I had no idea about?!

50746532563_eb95c0827d_b.jpg

Inside the building was beautiful!

50747274601_2fab1a2eb9_b.jpg

It’s a little driving simulator game!

50746532583_afe6d2bdd9_b.jpg

We didn’t play but we watched a kid drive for a while.
Then we continued on our merry way to Japan.

50747378217_e6944364ae_b.jpg

50747378157_7f6e93ee69_b.jpg

Jamie made a nice zen garden, then piled everything up into a tower and knocked it over hahaha.

50746532348_a719bb8308_b.jpg

50747378017_669b47e89a_b.jpg

LOL the guy in the background.

50746532268_2f62b5b715_b.jpg

SUSHI CATS.

50747378107_96392fa280_b.jpg

Obviously we had to buy one.
“Why am I sushi?”

50747377897_c1cc093498_c.jpg

50746532168_40d084ff27_b.jpg

I didn’t take a picture of it for some reason.
I must’ve been too excited.
We got this one!

52048527022_f5a4c7c7e2_z.jpg

Next we had a look around the Norway pavilion, since we’d just got back from Tromsø in northern Norway!

50746532143_df9681049e_b.jpg

I can confirm that these trolls are sold everywhere in the real Norway!

50747273991_fa39ff3c25_c.jpg

50747273831_2ffa701a3e_c.jpg

When I was in real Norway I bought a bunch of these for me and my friends.
This one sits on my desk and watches me work!

52050111845_6f1d81a007.jpg

50746531923_78f46609f7_b.jpg

After Norway we planned on heading to the front of the park to get the monorail home, as Jamie wanted to watch some football.
UNFORTUNATELY we found ourselves in the Epcot Experience instead!
I loved this!
I’d seen parts of it online but I didn’t know the full extent of it.
It was really cool!
We had a really goofy time in there.

“SEAGULL!”

I love these clips I got.
The Ratatouille part in particular.
The Ratatouille theme song may or may not be featured SOMEWHERE in our upcoming wedding…!

50747273706_60e47bd8e1_b.jpg

50747273636_dd5f88be8f_b.jpg

“SPACESHIP EARTH IS CHEESE” hahaha.

50746531723_5733f77592_b.jpg

50746531543_012d51f1bf_b.jpg

On the way out we saw these cool posters for attractions old and new.

50746531458_12ce96b5d9_b.jpg

Flower and Garden coming soon!

50747273321_0f46cf3f28_b.jpg

The Guardians of the Galaxy building was coming along nicely.

Day 13
Monday 24th February 2020
Part 5 – Magic Kingdom

We hopped on the monorail and headed back to the TTC.

50746531133_3b41577656_b.jpg

50747272986_f1660efd75_b.jpg

Then we got monorail black on the resort loop, which had a brand new interior!
We’d only seen this on monorail black and monorail green, all the others still had that old blue material.
Pretty snazzy.

50747273201_6921f7a26d_b.jpg

50747272911_525d8d2ef6_b.jpg

50747376782_ef3a139ac9_b.jpg

Home sweet home!

50747376742_d6741ecf75_b.jpg

Obviously, we went straight to the club lounge for some snacks!

50747373197_6ba0932a3a_b.jpg

50746527463_b659538064_b.jpg

50747372972_d5e2a764d7_b.jpg

We loaded up and took our plates back to our room.
We got salami, tomato and mozzarella, focaccia, and sun-dried tomato pesto (the focaccia become super addictive to us over the next few days! It became a running joke with us. We went back for more after our first plate!)
We also got some banana bread and jam tarts for dessert, but when we went down for more savoury snacks we spontaneously decided to get a scone, and another jam tart LOL ridiculous.

50747272771_b4185a30c4_b.jpg

50747269016_e56b286d00_b.jpg

After gobbling up our food, we caught the boat over to Magic Kingdom!
It was only when we were on the boat that we realised it went to the Poly first…
For future me to remember: monorail is best TO Magic Kingdom, boat is best BACK.
Oh well, we’ll call this “the scenic route”.

50746530813_a9c98822b6_b.jpg

50747272651_5929c536ca_b.jpg

Hmm, maybe not so scenic…
So much construction!

50747376427_e4736bbcaf_b.jpg

Ah that’s better.

50747376387_4cdcf79fa2_b.jpg

We arrived at Magic Kingdom at 6pm!

We had grabbed ourselves a Space Mountain fastpass while we were on the monorail back from Epcot earlier, but it was for a time that we had no chance of making it to Magic Kingdom for.
Like literally 2 hours before we got there.
But to test our fantastic fastpass glitch, we booked it in anyway, headed straight there, touched our magic bands, and WE WERE IN!
(With our anytime fastpasses still in tact, so it definitely used the one we had booked!)
This glitch was the greatest thing ever, we were so happy about it, haha!

We were on the left track and I sat in the back behind Jamie.
He said I made some really ridiculous noises, I hope no one else heard me!
This ride is always surprisingly thrilling to me.

50747270636_60aa73cdf7_b.jpg

Then we decided to use one of our anytime fastpasses at Haunted Mansion, because we hadn’t done it yet this trip, and neither of us were willing to wait in the INSANE lines this year!
It feels like a classic that you should do at least once per trip.

So that’s where we went!

50747271906_c4651da69a_b.jpg

Spooky…

50747375752_3bc70bf1cd_b.jpg

50747271831_a1d50cc16c_b.jpg

The CM who herded us all into the stretching room told us to make our way to the ‘dead centre’ of the room, and a little girl who was sat up on her dad’s shoulders threw her arms out to the side and dramatically shouted,
“HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO GET OUT?”
Hahaha we cracked up so hard.

Slight tangent but - after our Disney trip in February 2019, I finally gave in to my old age and went to the opticians for an eye test.
I couldn’t see much last year!
This was my first year wearing contact lenses at Disney, and I could see SO much better!
I really noticed it on Haunted Mansion, I even wondered if they’d enhanced the ride, but quickly realised it was my new-found vision, haha!

50746526613_0cfd54b6b0_b.jpg

And apparently there’s now a photopass in the Haunted Mansion.
Who knew?!

50747379467_5f91f28b69_c.jpg

Just casually sanitising my hands.
Have you heard there’s something called the coronavirus circulating in China, and it’s just made its way to Italy?
Better make sure we sanitise our hands, lest anything TERRIBLE happen...

Next we made our way back to the People Mover!
A nighttime favourite of ours.
This used to be such a great ride to go round and round on since no one was ever line.
But apparently the People Mover is ‘cool’ now.
The lines were always huge!
So sad.
At least we made it on.

50746529988_dab3e67fe0_b.jpg

We exited the People Mover right when Happily Ever After was starting, so we took the backstage walkway towards the front of the park to avoid the crowds.
I was trying to film the walkway because I thought it was interesting and rare to see, but Jamie kept poking me.
Then things turned really weird.
Sorry to anyone we may have offended with those accents, haha!

Day 13
Monday 24th February 2020
Part 6 – Whispering Canyon Café!

We left Magic Kingdom and headed to dinner at Whispering Canyon!
One of our all time favourites!
We got the boat to the Wilderness Lodge!

50747375517_cd10770220_b.jpg

The boat ride was fun, they were playing the Main Street Electrical Parade music!
Which kinda made us sad because we miss that parade.
It was Jamie’s favourite nighttime show.

I love the Wilderness Lodge!

50747375452_56da37bcd3_b.jpg

More of this terrible character Jamie developed this trip.
“I DON’T GIVE A HOOT” still makes me laugh.

Ahh since staying here in 2018 it really feels like home!
I love it!

50746529718_ab948cca0d_b.jpg

We checked in for dinner and waited to be called up.

50747271451_29c3727483_b.jpg

At 8:15pm we were shown to our table.

50747271401_554cb58b78_b.jpg

And this was promptly going on next to us, haha!

50747271306_9bf08e297f_b.jpg

We had some cornbread to start.
Well I didn’t, but Jamie did.
And he confirmed my suspicions that it’s literally just sponge cake.

50746529578_7a673b14e5_b.jpg

Jamie ordered the traditional skillet and I got the land and sea skillet, and we shared them both.

50746529453_911b341a32_b.jpg

50747271131_bd56d4e82f_b.jpg

The mashed potato was SO good, we decided to ask for some more, plus a few more items.
They brought us sooo much haha.

50747374842_461de0c41d_b.jpg

We felt like we had to eat it all because we’d specifically asked for it, so we were SO full by the end.

We finished up and had a stroll around the beautiful lodge.

50747374807_ac4f296e56_c.jpg

I spotted this amazing table just off the lobby as we walked towards Roaring Fork!

50747374757_27d02111d3_b.jpg

At around 9:30pm we headed back towards the boat dock.
I miss staying here so much!
In 2018 we had a room overlooking the boat dock, and we could hear the audio (and the singing captain!) from our balcony all the time!
(Read about our room here!)
Ahh I would love to stay here again some time.

50747374692_0e3b4b418c_b.jpg

50746529088_7782741b84_b.jpg

We boarded the boat back to the Magic Kingdom, then got another boat back to the Grand Floridian.
Due to a combination of my very full stomach and the busiest Disney day ever, I fell fast asleep on the boat!

This was one of my favourite Disney days ever, it was so fun!

Good night!

Your updates were so fun to read! Thanks for sharing.

Your FP glitch is amazing. Next time I go to guest services, I feel like saying "I'd like to request the glitch please".

That sushi cat is so weird. Do they have other animal sushi products? I think they could be onto something with a sushi squirrel. ;)

This was probably my favourite day of the whole trip!!!
Yay!
And what a long day it was.
Well, if it's gonna be long, might as well be long!
The fact that everybody was here for the exact same reason made me super excited, but also a bit sad for the people who had made the effort to be here to potentially not get a boarding pass.
I'd heard about that. How the boarding groups were gone in seconds.

Huh! I would've put money on his method being the way to go.
People around us were all cheering as they got their boarding groups and it made me emotional haha.
I was so happy for everyone.
:goodvibes
But then Jamie dragged me down from cloud nine by saying that it must be so sad to not get a group and have everyone around you keep cheering…!
Meh. YOU'RE GOING ON ROTR!
the crowds were queuing to get into Toy Story Land all the way down to Voyage of the Little Mermaid!
So... how does one arrange to receive this "glitch"?

Asking for a friend.
Our faces when MDE glitches are on our side:

50747274906_2ce0b4131d_b.jpg
Love how everyone else is screaming or reacting...
Cute skirt. :)
We sent a picture to Rob and Fran in our Come In Star Command group chat, of Jamie in character for his group chat ‘nickname’…!
“Isn’t it weird how things taste of stuff.”
Hahaha OK THEN?
Um...

Well...

Yeah!
After breakfast we walked past the citizens of Hollywood!
The blonde woman shouted at me,
“You’re not allowed to look cuter than me!!!”
Hahaha.
Thanks lady, Jamie chose my outfit.
:lmao:
I made a heart shape with my hands to her, and Jamie was like, “ummm obviously she was talking to me!”
:rotfl:
We shuffled through the queue at a good pace, however after about 10 minutes, everything came to a standstill…
They immediately brought free water and food to us all, and even sent Rey through the queue to meet with everyone!
Bonus!
How can I arrange for a short delay in order to have a personal meet n greet with Rey?
Our CM was staring Jamie out, it was so awkward and funny.
Then he literally told Jamie that he didn’t like his face, and made him turn around and face the wall, haha!
Poor Hymie.
 Perfect!
We decided to try some blue milk, and I really hated it. Haha!
Of course. Has coconut in it.

Gross.
Awww...
Jamie suggested that before we go into Epcot we should visit our swing bench at the Beach Club, which is where we got engaged last year!
Isn’t he cute.
I'd keep him if I was you.
We headed over there, but someone was sat on it, how rude.
Tell them to get out! How dare they!
We used the restrooms (which FYI, have free lady products if you ever need!)
Thanks for the tip!

um...
Jamie made a nice zen garden, then piled everything up into a tower and knocked it over hahaha.
That's not how that's supposed to work!
The Guardians of the Galaxy building was coming along nicely.
Should be up and running when I go this summer. Can't wait!
Then we got monorail black on the resort loop, which had a brand new interior!
We’d only seen this on monorail black and monorail green, all the others still had that old blue material.
Pretty snazzy.
I like it! And I didn't even know that was happening.
Obviously, we went straight to the club lounge for some snacks!
Of course.
Pretty shot
I like this angle. Nice!
That's great!

No more squinting for you.
Glad you were able to actually see HM!

What are you talking about.
You're over reacting.
What's with Hymie manspreading and only leaving you a tiny bit of seat????

Don’t quote me on this but the table you spotted is done by an artist that appears at the FArts. They cost $30,000 USD each give or take.

Love your trip reports, way to go being a mom and still writing. Do you have plans to take your little one to Disney yet?

Such a great report. Loving it

So glad you're enjoying it!

Great pictures!

Thank you!!

WOW-amazing update!

You were so fortunate to get boarding group 44!

Thank you! I know right, I have the DIS to thank for that. I bet there were a ton of people that would show up and not have a clue what to do!

Your updates were so fun to read! Thanks for sharing.

Your FP glitch is amazing. Next time I go to guest services, I feel like saying "I'd like to request the glitch please".

That sushi cat is so weird. Do they have other animal sushi products? I think they could be onto something with a sushi squirrel. ;)
Aw thank you! I can't quite believe our luck with that glitch, it made things sooo much easier!

Haha I know! I don't think they have other sushi animals.... I'd like to see a sushi elephant or something, that would need a lot of rice. haha!

I'd heard about that. How the boarding groups were gone in seconds.

It was crackers!

So... how does one arrange to receive this "glitch"?

Asking for a friend.

Faith, trust and pixie dust :)

Cute skirt. :)

Thanks girlfriend!!!

Bonus!
How can I arrange for a short delay in order to have a personal meet n greet with Rey?

Perhaps phone in a bomb threat?

(am I even allowed to say that haha. I'm joking DIS-Gods)

Should be up and running when I go this summer. Can't wait!

Ooh! You must send me a TR link if you do one, I'd love to join again it's been a while!

No more squinting for you.
Glad you were able to actually see HM!

It made SUCH a difference!

What's with Hymie manspreading and only leaving you a tiny bit of seat????

Haha HOW RUDE.

(FArts LOL) That price wouldn't surprise me, it was incredible!! It actually popped up on my instagram the other day, I forgot that I'd followed the artist, Michael Maiden (@michaelmaidenart). Cool to see all of the intricate details on his page!

Ah thanks so much!! The first 2 or 3 months were tough, but by some miracle we've got Ted on a schedule where he's sleeping 7-7 through the night! Plus an hour nap in the morning and 2 hours mid afternoon, so I'm loving mom life with some solid time to myself haha!

We have some very loose plans to take him, possibly December 2023, around his 2nd birthday, but nothing booked yet. I think I'll cry the entire trip it will be amazing to take him! :)

It was crackers!
Wait... isn't that supposed to be bisucuits?
I thought I had it all figured out.
Fries = chips
Chips = crisps
Crackers = biscuits
Unwell = pulley
Faith, trust and pixie dust :)
That leaves me out. That only applies to me with bus service.
Thanks girlfriend!!!
You're welcome!
Perhaps phone in a bomb threat?

(am I even allowed to say that haha. I'm joking DIS-Gods)
:scared:
