Day 11
Saturday 22nd February 2020
Part 4 – An Evening at Magic Kingdom

I soon headed back to the Sugar Loaf building and grabbed two Diet Cokes and two bottles of water to help wake Jamie up.
I crept into the room and quietly closed the door…
Then Jamie LEPT out of the pitch black bathroom area and absolutely terrified me!

He then showered and got ready, and at about 5:15 we went down to get some food at the lounge.
We didn’t have any dinner plans tonight so we loaded up!
We had FOUR plates of food each!
And we conveniently sat slightly off the lounge next to the little bar area.
We were on the red wine tonight!

YUM

AND

50744536927_eee57dc691_c.jpg

WOW

50743692843_9f17568552_c.jpg

We tried so many items, including seared tuna, focaccia, flatbread, grilled artichoke, bbq pulled pork tart, cauliflower salad, mac and cheese, and many blocks of cheese!

50743692758_1f3040866f_b.jpg

50743692638_652a1e6658_b.jpg

50744427616_c6444f0f99_b.jpg

50743691853_6f7d613ce3_b.jpg

Then we went up for desserts!
While we were getting brownies there was an old guy up there who said to us,
“Forgive me as I’ve had a few glasses of wine, but you guys are the skinniest people in here and I’ve seen you up here like 10 times.”
Hahaha oh god, BUSTED!

We took our desserts back to the room with a coffee and relaxed a bit.

50744536432_474df653c4_c.jpg

The live action Jungle Book was on TV so we watched some of that.
I always appreciate the rhyme “Ridiculous” and “Gigantopithecus” - excellent!
Almost as good as the song A Guy Like You from Hunchback of Notre Dame rhyming ‘Adonis’ with ‘since you’re shaped like a croissant is’ hahahaha.
Genius.

Then at around 7pm we got the monorail over to the Magic Kingdom!
I love walking through this lobby.

Here’s a terrible photo of the sparkly trees!
But at least it reminds me that the sparkly trees existed and I enjoyed them enough to try to photograph them...!

50744538397_efe3db5a30_b.jpg

We originally had fastpasses for Epcot today but decided not to go, so we made last minute fastpasses for Magic Kingdom.
We dashed straight to our fastpass at It’s A Small World! Haha!
There wasn’t really anyone in line so the speedwalk was kind of pointless, but oh well, we enjoyed it.

50743694463_ffb3d85bf8_b.jpg

We left the ride at 7:50pm and Happily Ever After was starting at 8!
We didn’t think we would get a good spot for the fireworks, but the bridge between Sleepy Hollow and the hub was really quiet, so we watched from there!
I always appreciate a viewing spot where no one can stand in front of me!

50744429431_79af87d3dc_b.jpg

50743694403_74db4b5893_b.jpg

50744427061_0deb8002a0_b.jpg

After the show we began walking into Liberty Square from the bridge, and people were RUNNING past us!
Crazy!
People have stuff to do LET'S GO!

We grabbed a last minute fastpass to Journey of the Little Mermaid and went to ride straight away!

50744538157_3f0ccc4e81_b.jpg

Ariel love are you feeling ok?

50744538142_502ac106e9_b.jpg

Jamie thinks these Ariel animatronics are creepy.
He says they’re completely dead behind the eyes.
Maybe because they are.
You know, being robots and all.
But, I do agree.

50743694223_b33288b7a8_c.jpg

Then we rode the People Mover and Jamie was trying to get people to wave at him haha!

50744429201_ea7c1ee714_b.jpg

We had a fastpass to use at Buzz Lightyear coming up shortly.
In the meantime we browsed the Space Mountain gift shop.
We were looking at the custom Magic Bands, they were pretty cool!
They had Splash Mountain ones!
And I liked these a lot.
That weird vintage Mickey is hilarious.

50744429136_c4da508ff7_c.jpg

50744537887_3dbbc68b38_c.jpg

Jamie loved this guy…

50744428961_45bbea1224_c.jpg

50743693998_206f6fd695_b.jpg

Then we used our fastpass at Buzz, and I won!
By a lot!
Hehehe.

50744537697_9a0f12aaec_b.jpg

I just missed out on maxxing out my score though.
I was sad about that.

50743699093_5b73d1cbde_b.jpg

Afterwards we headed out of the park.
We stopped and got a cute photopass in front of the castle.
I like how there’s nobody close to us walking through our shot!

50743699133_c6c33b56db_c.jpg

Then we stopped by the Emporium and Jamie got a dark grey magic band.

50744428866_40156a8889_b.jpg

Then we headed out and caught the boat back to the Grand Floridian.

To our delight, the desserts were out in the lounge!

50744428811_f57d5cf86a_b.jpg

Jamie got a cannoli, a coconut macaroon, cheesecake and a key lime pie.

50743693688_31fded85da_b.jpg

And I got a cannoli, carrot cake, and banana bread!
Banana bread is always a favourite of mine, and this one was real good!

50743693643_4241a7b8fb_b.jpg

Then we stayed up really late watching the Tyson Fury v Deontay Wilder boxing match.
I'm not normally into this but I quite enjoyed it!
Tyson Fury won, rule Britannia!!

50744427451_98f3b8c7cf_b.jpg

Also, while I was browsing Twitter before bed, I saw that Lil Nas X had crashed a wedding at Disney today!
I couldn’t figure out where exactly it was…maybe it was at the Grand Floridian?
I did see a bridal party here earlier after all!

50744536227_bf8d9f7959_c.jpg

How funny!

Goodnight!

Oh dear! Thanks, good to know it's not just me.
And they're fixed now, along with a few other problems.
Great! I love when you discover that weird combinations of food actually work well together.
::yes::
Although, I'm not a fan of peanuts in my food (or any nuts... but I'll eat them by themselves....... yeah, I'm weird, but you knew that already.)
Nice! our Beach Club trip in 2019 is the only time we've not had it granted (adjoining rooms). Makes me nervous if we take Ted and my parents, I really hope we'd get adjoining rooms then! That's how we did it growing up at Port Orleans Riverside, we always had the door open with my Auntie and Uncle's room, it was like having one giant room!
That sounds like fun. :)
I have a LOT of Genie/Lightning Lane studying to do,
You and me both. :sad2:
I haven't a clue what's going on...! It's such a shame, I really felt I'd mastered fastpass+!
Don't worry. By the time you master Genie and Lightning Lanes... they'll change it.
Oh no, you should ask to be pilot next time!
Yer darned tootin' I will!
Haha, my dad does this. He's Scottish so all temperatures are warm to him, he's always in shorts!
We'd get along fine, then. ::yes::

Jamie woke up early at 6:30am because there was football (soccer) on back home that he wanted to watch!
That's dedication for you.

Or obsession. Whichever.
and some bread pudding!
mmmmm...
So I went back down and got another for me, and another devilled egg because they were sooo good.
I like making devilled eggs so I need this recipe!
I love eating them more than making, but... in this house, no one else is gonna, so...
In the early afternoon I went down to the club lounge to get two bottles of water, and this is what I returned with...!

50744433731_21dfacea97_b.jpg
What an odd water bottle shape. Looks almost like a can of Diet Coke and a plate of food.
Pics from while I was hoarding…
So much food!
We toured Copper Creek a couple of years ago too and loved it.
I did too... and loved it too!
Oh, no! The elevator has slid 45 degrees off center and might plunge to the ground!

Hope you were okay.
I love stationary.
I can never sit still for stationary.
I always take these pictures so that I can review at the end of the trip and make any purchases I want to, but I always forget ugh!
I really wish I had these pens
From now on, if you see something you like, even just a little bit, buy it. Immediately.
I like that. :)
The splash zone was closed and it looked…weird…
When you say it looked weird. Do you mean the theme or the fact that it looks run down?
on top of the 3 additional fastpasses that came with the tour (which come with some restrictions such as no Pandora rides…), he’d include a 4th pass that we could use at either of the Avatar rides!
Score!
Plus, remember I said we got a $100 gift card last time?
He also said we’d receive a $150 Disney gift card for doing this tour!
I am such a fan of these tours.
Whoa! Nice!!
In contrast to loving the Grand Floridian atmosphere music, I find the Polynesian music kinda creepy!
It sounds like it should be played at Tower of Terror or something!
I dunno... I can see it at ToT, but... it is island sounding. Maybe needs to be a bit more upbeat, though?
I remember thinking that when we stayed at the Polynesian a few years ago.
I loooved the resort but it doesn’t really feel like home because everyone and there mother is mingling around the lobby for ‘Ohana and Kona!
Huh. Never having stayed there, but... I can see that.
Kilimanjaro Katie
And Hungry Hippo Hymie.
Check out the vintage rooms!
The stuff of nightmares.
A cute Grand Floridian keyring I found in the store.
Did you buy it?
I crept into the room and quietly closed the door…
Then Jamie LEPT out of the pitch black bathroom area and absolutely terrified me!
:lmao:
We didn’t have any dinner plans tonight so we loaded up!
We had FOUR plates of food each!
Holy smokes!
While we were getting brownies there was an old guy up there who said to us,

So many things wrong with that sentence...
After the show we began walking into Liberty Square from the bridge, and people were RUNNING past us!
Crazy!
People have stuff to do LET'S GO!
:scared:
Ariel love are you feeling ok?
"Oh, don't mind me. I just ate 4 plates of food and then had dessert."

:rolleyes1
Jamie thinks these Ariel animatronics are creepy.
He says they’re completely dead behind the eyes.
Maybe because they are.
You know, being robots and all.
He's got a point, though.
Then we rode the People Mover and Jamie was trying to get people to wave at him haha!
I do that too!
:thumbsup2 It must be done.
Then we used our fastpass at Buzz, and I won!
By a lot!
Hehehe.
Atta girl. :)
To our delight, the desserts were out in the lounge!
More dessert!
I'd be more wide than tall by the end of that trip.

Me too! I've got a lot of catching up to do on how Disney even works now. After we'd all perfected our strategies they go and shake it all up! Not cool Disney!

Eek I can't wait to post it, I love going through all my pictures again :lovestruc It will be up soon!

Hello also Katie! Aw thanks so much! Haha he is such a cutie, hard work though! 9 sounds like a great age, still young and precious and not a whole lot of backchat yet (I hope?!)

Haha amazing! That must've been a shock, I don't think I'd be able to forgive that for a while :rotfl: something similar happened with Jamie and I the first time we rode it in 2012 - walking down Sunset Boulevard he somehow missed the windows opening and the hysterical screams coming from it...so when we boarded he just thought it was a slow dark ride like the Haunted Mansion! He got quite the shock much like your daughter! :rotfl:

He is super smily! Here's some at 10 weeks! (Yes I told you I'll show anyone who will look.. I'm that person 😆 )

Bonus bath time pic because it's too stinking cute not to share :lovestruc
Aw so cute! I've been reading your TRs for a while - my daughter is 15 months old, she's such a different person now from those early weeks! There might be some truth to that whole 'the days are long but the years are short' thing. I'm so excited to see how different my LO will be in another year or two! Anyway, congrats on Teddy!!

And they're fixed now, along with a few other problems.

Well unfortunately I've already fallen out of the habit of using them!

Don't worry. By the time you master Genie and Lightning Lanes... they'll change it.

UGH I know. It's so confusing. Change it back!!!

Yer darned tootin' I will!

Darned tootin hahaha

What an odd water bottle shape. Looks almost like a can of Diet Coke and a plate of food.

I know right? A glitch in the matrix perhaps?

I did too... and loved it too!

I couldn't believe how big the 1 bedroom+ villas are!

Oh, no! The elevator has slid 45 degrees off center and might plunge to the ground!

Hope you were okay.

The new and improved Tower of Terror - standing only!

I can never sit still for stationary.

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

When you say it looked weird. Do you mean the theme or the fact that it looks run down?

I meant how run down it looked!

Did you buy it?

No and I'm full of regrets :(

What a fun night in MK! And all those desserts in the lounge look absolutely divine!!

We were really impressed with the lounge, as you'll be able to tell by the end of this report, we enjoyed it A LOT! Haha!

Thank you for the congrats! Oh my goodness, 15 months sounds like such a precious age! I don't want to wish the time away, but I'm always looking forward to when Ted is just a little bit bigger! "The days are long but the years are short" - that sounds completely right! Ted's almost 5 months old already I can't believe it, but also I can't remember a time that we didn't have him! It seems like forever! Such a weird feeling!

Day 12
Sunday 23rd February 2020
Part 1 – Disney’s Riviera Resort!

Good morning!

Today we got up and ready, and headed out the door to meet our DVC driver at the front of the hotel.
We were doing a tour of the brand new Riviera Resort!

Here’s my OOTD.
Half summer day, half gothic night.
Black is my colour, even when I visit the sunshine state!

50744452238_87a64f92d4_c.jpg

It’s a beautiful day!

50745291697_895aca7c6f_b.jpg

As soon as we exited the Grand Floridian gates, we met the Princess Half Marathon runners!

50744452033_fe8b62b093_b.jpg

We even drove past Cinderella and Prince Charming who were out meeting the racers!

Soon we were pulling into Disney’s Riviera Resort.

50745183211_f0b24145df_b.jpg

It didn’t really feel like a Disney resort, but it was still beautiful!
We explored the lobby while we waited for our DVC rep.

50745182861_eed532d46d_b.jpg

50744451673_8ca8808424_b.jpg

50744451563_0bd67f1c64_b.jpg

There was a huge Mickey Mouse book on one of the tables.
It was a really lovely book, and I couldn’t help but wonder how long it would take for someone to spill their drink on it, or for a child to sneeze on it…!

50745182786_59b33fb9ef_c.jpg

50745290902_c25e08fafa_b.jpg

It wasn’t long before our DVC rep came out to meet us.
He showed us around a compact studio, a regular studio, and a one bedroom villa.
We loooved the one bedroom, obv.
They're so beautiful and spacious!

50745290787_43d8cb5d1e_b.jpg

50745182586_bc0cb846c9_b.jpg

50745179451_fcdd0f8fd2_b.jpg

50745290617_3dde5cf8fc_c.jpg

We talked everything through with him and refreshed our memories about all of the details of DVC.
He was quite pushy with us, and even though we’re tempted, ultimately we’re never going to make a rushed decision about DVC.
(And it’s a good job we didn’t, since the world went into lockdown a month later, and we weren’t allowed to fly to the USA for like a year and a half!)
Plus we actually both preferred Copper Creek, where we toured a couple of years ago!

50744450953_9689347e1f_c.jpg

Continued in next post!

It seems like forever! Such a weird feeling!
I've always felt the same way and I still do - I'm definitely more of a kids than a babies person, though the baby phase is super sweet too. 15 months is so fun! She's starting to get to the age where she runs around on her own and explores. We took her to Disney World back in February (maybe a bit early😅) and she loved checking out Figment and Nemo's giant undersea aquarium in Epcot. I'm loving toddlerhood, and I'm also so excited for 3/4 years old when she's in the prime magic age to really get the full Disney experience with us.😍

Day 12
Sunday 23rd February 2020
Part 2 – Sanaa and Animal Kingdom

After the tour we had plans to go to Animal Kingdom, but while we were waiting for our driver, Jamie realised he didn’t have his magic band, DOH!
So we asked to be driven back to the Grand instead so he could grab it.
Then we got the monorail to the Magic Kingdom…

50745294397_7102841739_b.jpg

Then the bus to Animal Kingdom Lodge for our 12:30pm lunch reservation at Sanaa!
One of our favourite meals!

50745186201_54bf6a8c12_b.jpg

BEANS.
(That's what Jamie and I call each other haha)

50745186051_e7580493dc_c.jpg

We checked in at the restaurant and it didn’t take long to be seated.
It was soooo busy though!
Maybe it was all the racers from earlier.

We ordered a potje to share (butter chicken, braised beef, aloo masala and rice), and of course, a bread service!
And we had a beer each!

50745186016_fea52e6766_b.jpg

Isn’t it beautiful?

50744454683_8eecb4dd70_b.jpg

This meal was the bomb.com.
We love Sanaa!

50745294082_bbd783321c_b.jpg

50745294022_9c3ae55887_b.jpg

At 1:40pm we got the bus over to Animal Kingdom!

50745293977_6856b10f4a_b.jpg

50744454328_2a89c74f28_b.jpg

50745293947_2a66aa9b54_b.jpg

50745293852_45cd6eb4e1_b.jpg

Jamie has much more stage presence than me.

As we walked in through the Oasis near the entrance, we saw a HUGE ANTEATER!
I had no idea they camped out there!
I thought it was just birds and stuff.

50745185381_83352c57f7_b.jpg

50744454153_0da4595e5e_b.jpg

We watched him pacing around for a while, he was so cool!
He looked like a big dog.
I had no idea they were so big!

50745185516_4bc544301d_b.jpg

50745185331_2e3a037d15_b.jpg

So there’s a bit of a story here.
It’s a little complicated but I think I can explain.

The DVC guy I spoke to at the Grand Floridian yesterday said that, because we were going to Animal Kingdom after our tour, on top of the 3 anytime fastpasses included in the booking, he would get us a special 4th anytime fastpass specifically for Flight of Passage (since the regular anytime passes had restrictions that excluded Pandora rides).

But he said that for this to work, with the way MDE was configured, it HAD to be the first ride we did when we got to Animal Kingdom.
So we headed to Pandora to use it.
(Don't worry, the story gets better...)

50745293482_23a219060f_b.jpg

50744453878_d64833ce8a_b.jpg

50744453783_d985cf427a_b.jpg

50745290147_0ebfaa73f8_c.jpg

HOWEVER.
In our MDE we had TWO sets of anytime fastpasses each, both containing 3/3 experiences remaining.
So in the app it looked like we had 6 anytime fastpasses.

We were confused but assumed that one of the sets represented the Flight of Passage fastpass, and the whole thing would disappear once we used it.
We already had a fastpass for Flight of Passage later today so we figured we’d be doing it twice (fine by me, it’s one of my favourites!)

HOWEVER.

When we scanned in at Flight of Passage, instead of using an anytime fastpass from MDE, it just pulled the regular fastpass we’d reserved for later on, and used those instead.

Weird, right?!

I wasn’t mad that we couldn’t do it again later, it was just weird because the DVC guy FoP HAD to be the first anytime fastpass we used otherwise we’d lose the ability to use it.
So we were confused, but ultimately we were just glad that we’d got to ride it on a busy marathon day, so we didn't ask questions.

WELL.

We later discovered a weird glitch with these 4 ‘anytime fastpasses’...
We did, in fact, have 6 anytime fastpasses each, instead of 3.

PLUS

There was some kind of glitch that meant that all of the fastpasses we had made for the rest of the trip could be used at any time during that day they were booked for?!
Later in the trip we were turning up to fastpass reservations 2 hours early and 2 hours late, and when we tapped our magic band the tapstile would just turn green!

This was SUCH a blessing for us this trip because it was really busy.
The parks were so crowded, but from this point on, there was never a time where we were sat twiddling our thumbs, wondering what to do.
I’d made a lot of our reservations for around lunchtime since that’s when the parks seem busiest, but now we were able to turn up early and get everything done, or relax at the hotel and show up to our fastpasses late, and we never had any issues!
It was FANTASTIC!

We didn’t realise that this was going on right away, so after riding Flight of Passage we strolled around a bit, until it was time for our Kilimanjaro Safari fastpass!

50745185071_f0ae65c420_b.jpg

50745287612_c7b35c1ae8_c.jpg

50745184966_af85b4b9ae_b.jpg

We got the front row!
While we were paused for traffic the driver asked if there was anything in particular that people wanted to see today and no one said anything, so I was just like LIONS haha.
Then me and her started chatting about lions LOL.

LIONS.

50745184731_362547edd4_b.jpg

50745184586_ba5d5074a0_b.jpg

After the safari we walked through the Gorilla Falls trail and saw a tiny baby gorilla!

50744453173_e111d68da0_b.jpg

50745184321_ec346fa0ab_b.jpg

50744452903_dbae0b2bab_b.jpg

And we saw a bonus animal…
A corgi!!!

50744453228_83946fbfb7_b.jpg

I will admit that we followed this corgi for a while.
Whenever they stopped to look at something on the trail, we also stopped...only half by accident.
Some of the rocks would obstruct his view due to his tiny little legs, so he kept jumping up to look at the animals!
It was so precious.

Part 3 – A Quiet Night In

We had a bit of time to kill before our Everest fastpass so we went to use one of our anytime fastpasses there.
But instead of using the anytime fastpass, it brought our later fastpass forward, leaving us with 6 anytime fastpasses still in tact!
This is when we figured out our sweet little fastpass glitch.

50745184026_8e4281e9a7_c.jpg

After we rode it once, we actually did use one of our anytimes to ride it again, and this time we asked for the front!

Woo!

After two rides on Everest we headed out of the park, stopping along the way to get some photopass pictures.

We caught the bus back to the Grand.

Always greeted by such beautiful atmosphere :)

At around 5:30pm we headed down to the lounge.
We were staying in tonight as we had an early morning tomorrow, so we filled up on club level treats for dinner!
We had some salmon rolls, cheese, tomato and mozzarella salad, pineapple chicken, Korean ribs, and chicken nuggets!

I’m not sure why Jamie is about to stick his finger in my salmon roll?!

We also had some red wine from this little bar.
We loved that bar.

Then we took some wine and desserts back to our room!

I had a chocolate cupcake, chocolate brownie, rice krispie treat, an uncrustable and some strawberry soup haha.

Like I said, we had no other food plans for this evening!

Also, I couldn’t eat any of the icing on this cupcake, I can’t eat things that are such a strange colour.

Cupcakes with BLUE icing are an absolute no go for me!

We found plenty of ways to keep entertained in the room for the night…!

We watched Love is Blind on Netflix, which is one of the dumbest concepts for a show I’ve ever seen – haha!
And later on at around 8pm we went to get more desserts from the lounge!

Here’s what I went for!
Sugar cookie, banana bread, and a red velvet cupcake!

(Red velvet is a very acceptable food colouring to me by the way…!)

50744452373_b42ededc27_b.jpg

We also had another incident.

50745179911_1f274338c3_b.jpg

Hahaha.
I don’t know what this guy is on sometimes.

50744448058_0b8ccc9da0_b.jpg

We kinda saw Happily Ever After from our balcony, woo!

And the Electric Water Pageant!

Then I laid in bed and browsed the DIS on strategies for a VERY nerve-wracking quest we were going on tomorrow morning…

Good night!

Katie! Where are you finding the time to do a trip report with a five month old? You must be very organized.

How long is your maternity leave? In Canada we can either take a year or a year and a half. If opting for the year and a half, they give you the same amount of money that you would have received for the year I believe. I know Sweden has something like a two year maternity leave.

Also for all the American moms reading this comment, I am deeply sorry.

As well thank you for taking the time to write such a fun and entertaining trip report.

Five months is such a fun age! I wasn’t a giant fan of the newborn phase. I mean, I love my girls and I loved snuggling them, but they don’t do a whole lot. 🤣

By five months, though, that’s when you really start seeing a personality emerge, they’re more interactive. It’s just so much fun, and it’s one milestone after the other from here on out.

Well unfortunately I've already fallen out of the habit of using them!
You??? The emoji (and gif) queen???
UGH I know. It's so confusing. Change it back!!!
Oh, they will... but only after everyone is happy with the new system and have forgotten the old one.
I know right? A glitch in the matrix perhaps?
Absolutely. That must be it.

Absolutely. That must be it.

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I'm here all week. Try the veal.
Here’s my OOTD.
Half summer day, half gothic night.
Black is my colour, even when I visit the sunshine state!
You clean up real nice. :)
As soon as we exited the Grand Floridian gates, we met the Princess Half Marathon runners!
And you watched as your driver mowed them down and they went up over the hood (bonnet) one by one.
We even drove past Cinderella and Prince Charming who were out meeting the racers!
They weren't running?

Slackers.
It was a really lovely book, and I couldn’t help but wonder how long it would take for someone to spill their drink on it, or for a child to sneeze on it…!
Oh, I'm sure it was sneezed on. Did you get sick when you got home?

Book.
Hello soaker tub!
He was quite pushy with us
Really? Odd (for Disney)... must be due to the new management.

:rolleyes1
After the tour we had plans to go to Animal Kingdom, but while we were waiting for our driver, Jamie realised he didn’t have his magic band, DOH!
Whoops!
BEANS.
(That's what Jamie and I call each other haha)
Cute.
We ordered a potje to share (butter chicken, braised beef, aloo masala and rice), and of course, a bread service!
Of course!
And we had a beer each!
You wild and crazy kids!
I didn't know they had tortoises there!
Jamie has much more stage presence than me.
He's a natural born ham. ::yes::
As we walked in through the Oasis near the entrance, we saw a HUGE ANTEATER!
I've seen him! I know just where that was.
Whoa! Pretty fortuitous glitch!
:faint:
Really like this shot with all the colours.
And you got a pretty good shot of them, too. :)
And we saw a bonus animal…
A corgi!!!
Was the queen there??
I will admit that we followed this corgi for a while.
And the queen.
Poor Hymie... all tuckered out.
The girl behind him is hilarious.

Very nice photo of you two.
I’m not sure why Jamie is about to stick his finger in my salmon roll?!
Because... it's Jamie?
I would expect no less.
Also, I couldn’t eat any of the icing on this cupcake, I can’t eat things that are such a strange colour.

Wear your sunglasses next time and enjoy.
We also had another incident.
Poor guy has a penchant for getting stuck in odd places.

Haha, there was a time where he was attached to me day and night! But now we have a pretty good naptime and bedtime routine so I get some time to myself, thank GOODNESS!

Where I work I get a year off, but we also accrue all of our annual leave and public holidays to use too. So I finished mid-November 2021, and I'll probably use some of my annual leave and go back in January 2023 :)

Also for all the American moms reading this comment, I am deeply sorry.

I feel very fortunate. I was reading forums about American mums going back to work when their baby was only 3 months old, that was so sad to me, Ted was so tiny I couldn't imagine having to put him in daycare :(

As well thank you for taking the time to write such a fun and entertaining trip report.

I'm so glad you're enjoying it :)

The newborn phase was ROUGH! He was tiny and adorable but the crying was insane. It was so awful knowing he was fed and clean and burped etc and he was still so upset at the world, it felt like there was nothing I could do to help, I just had to hold him and watch him cry! It actually felt like he transformed overnight at around 3 months and became so much more enjoyable :)

While we were getting brownies there was an old guy up there who said to us,
“Forgive me as I’ve had a few glasses of wine, but you guys are the skinniest people in here and I’ve seen you up here like 10 times.”
Hahaha oh god, BUSTED
Ha! That is hilarious!

He was quite pushy with us, and even though we’re tempted, ultimately we’re never going to make a rushed decision about DVC.
This is why I never want to do one of these tours. I hate feeling pressured.

Isn’t it beautiful?

50744454683_8eecb4dd70_b.jpg
It is a picture of beauty!!!

me fastpass, it brought our later fastpass forward, leaving us with 6 anytime fastpasses still in tact!
This is when we figured out our sweet little fastpass glitch
I wonder what it looked like for the CM when you scanned in.

There can be a lot of pressure! But surely they would never expect anyone to purchase DVC on the spot?! I always tell them we'll sleep on it.
It is a picture of beauty!!!
I know! The bread service is a true masterpiece
I wonder what it looked like for the CM when you scanned in.
Hm yeah interesting! I hope they didn't know we were gaming the system..!
