Melanie, thank you for sharing such a wonderful time. I was on the Magic for a 3 night cruise back in 2001, a long long time ago. I love reading trip reports, it helps with the withdrawal when there are huge gaps betwen visits. Can't wait to hear about your October cruise.

The Other Melanie....It might be that I have more time on my hands to get the photo's in the album & scrapbooking done since I don't have wee one's running around to take care of....unless you count Bella of course.

I have lots of beautiful photographs tho... as my husband is a professional photographer. I may soon have more time on my hands though as I have just today given notice that I will be quitting and will be staying home to work at our business. I will have more time... but be poor.

I am just hoping I can still make the payments so we can still do our cruise next year! If not I will have to push it back further into 2008. Which wouldn't be the end of the world I guess!

Anyway... that was way off topic!

Great job Melanie! I loved the scrapbook pages. I only wish I had the talent and the inclination. I have drawers full of pics! Now I only take digital shots so I don't use up more drawer space!

I just finished reading all of your trip report in one sitting and I loved it! I am also from East Tennessee! (Greeneville, so I'm real close). I've been to disney world 3 times (twice that I remember) and the last time was in 2000 with my brother and dad so I'm planning a trip for me and my boyfriend this August for our 2 year anniversary I'm very excited to be planning my first disney trip!! My mom and I are hoping to take a mother daughter trip next Christmas! I was actually already planning a land/sea trip for the summer of 2008 for me and my boyfriend (getting ahead of myself I know!) but after reading your trip report I've decided December would be much better because I love Christmas and what could be better than having 3 things that I love together at the same time?! (Disney, Cruises, and Christmas!) Just one question though... is it to cold on a lot of days to swim in December?? Oh and I love you scrapbook pages too keep them coming!! PS. I also have a pet named Bella... but she's not a dog... she's a chinchilla!

I really enjoyed your trip report, its one of the best ones I have read - all your photos were brilliant...and your stay on the Cruise Line looked fantastic.
I also enjoyed looking at your scrapbook and all your creative ideas. One of the things I liked most was Mickey and the food (wish Id thought of that one!) and I want a princess potato head now.
Anyway, thanks for sharing your holiday with us.

December is a wonderful time to go to the World. It is beautiful with all the decorations & it really gets you in the Christmas spirit. The weather in Florida is kinda crazy in December. It was warm as it could be when we got down on Dec 2nd...you could easily have gone swimming. When we got back off the cruise on Dec 7th...it was downright chilly & don't think you could have gone swimming. Then when we left Dec 10th, it was warming back up. So, I guess it is just a crap shoot basically what kind of weather you get.
Also, I don't think you can get the 10% off & shipboard credit by booking anywhere but on the ship...I think it's kind of like a reward for people that have already cruised. Thanks so much for reading & have wonderful trips to Walt Disney World.

Elaine....thanks for all the nice words. I love trip reports with lots of pictures because I think they transport me there better. I think Mickey will be a tradition for us from now on presenting our food at Disney...just hope I can get his hand to stay on... guess next time I better pack the super glue too!! I hope you can get a princess potato head. I am having fun with my Potato...changing it up all the time. Have a magical day!!
