A Smile in my Heart–Magical Week of Friends,Fun & Freezing-10/28-COMPLETE!

What great character interaction! I think we had the same Tink in 2009. We went for Danielle's 10th birthday. She told her she had to fly away to Neverland before it was too late. Now that she's 11 I guess it's too late. The funny thing is Peter Pan told her the same thing that night at the Spectro parade.
How cute! I love the characters that have really honed their "craft" - they make the whole thing so magical. :thumbsup2

I'm still here too! :)

We loved the fairies  - they were so funny and just fed off of any situation. Tink stole our wands that we got from the Castle breakfast!! (She gave them back. Albeit reluctantly. Little thief!)

Carry on........:surfweb:

Linda

Thanks Linda! That's a funny story! I was a little hesitant about what to expect with this new "Tink" personality - I mean afterall, the original Tinkerbell was NOT very nice - she tries to kill Wendy for crying out loud! She is very self-absorbed and pouty too. I think they did a good job with her in character form though - she is definitely the "new" personality of Tink, but I was ok with it! She was as cute as a button!!

We loved the fairies. Totally. I think they may pay special attention to the boys that are "dragged" in there with sisters etc.

They are so funny!:lmao:

I think you are exactly right! :goodvibes I find that to be the case at a lot of the princess meals too! They like to smooch them on the cheek and leave big ole lip prints!!

Finally made it through your entire TR!!! Great pictures!!!!!! Funny seeing people in jackets at WDW. Even though we lived in Orlando for 5 years, I forget that it can get pretty cold.

DD4 didn't get to see the Fairies...by the time we finished with the Princesses, the line was ridiculously long. Luckily she isn't into Fairies like she is Princessess. This is a definite, though, for our next trip in June. And yep, we will be dragging DS9 and DS3 in there as well:rotfl:

Thanks for reading Heather! As you can see, I am not as fast as you with my updates!! Yeah, I have never been that cold at Disney before! But I didn't complain!

That fairy line is crazy! Definitely something to do at rope drop! Your boys will get lots of attention!!!

Sara

We've still not seen the fairies. :confused3 Love your pictures of them though. I think Michael had a good time. ;)

Looking forward to the rest of your day!

The only reason I'm fast with updates is because I'm on summer break....lots of time on my hands;) In a few weeks we will be back in school...I teach. Wish we went back after Labor Day, but oh well....we do get out in May, though.

How about I started reading your Poly TR from 09! I finally found someone as crazy about Disney as me:woohoo:

:rotfl: Yes, we Disney "nuts" have to stick together!! :grouphug:

What a great MK day so far. So cute about Fawn and Tinkerbell with Michael. I guess he will definitely remember those silly fairies!:rotfl2:

Even though I am not a big fan of cold, when in disney it is pretty great. When we went early february 09 it seemed the weather kept the people out of the parks. Our last two days were warm and the people swarmed in. Same with rain. I'd rather cold and/or wet and not crowded to great weather and an extremely crowded park anyday.

Hmm, I suppose Michael may be getting made over as a pirate!!

Hi Sara,
Loving your MK day so far! Your pictures are great too! Glad to hear Shawn did the Dumbo dash. Sorry about Michael pressing your buttons. Doesn't matter though you needed to ride in two Dumbo's anyway and the girls were happy right? :goodvibes Toontown is rather stressful in the morning with the walk to Pixie Hollow! Great pictures with the Fairies too.

Yep - cold air and low crowds are not a bad combination when at Disney World! :thumbsup2 We didn't have any problems with crowds until our last day (Saturday of President's Day weekend).

Hi Nichole! You're exactly right - the girls were both dead set on riding with me at that point, so there was no point in pressing the issue!

The fairies were a hoot! :goodvibes

I'm HERE Sara! We were away on our camping trip but we're back and I'm all caught up!

What a great little adventure you and Emily had! That's a fantastic idea...I'll put that one in my back pocket for future reference! :thumbsup2 My kids still have their pressed penny books from 2007 and they add to them each trip. Great souvenir!

Ahhhh, MK....how I love you! You go Shawn....way to get the kids in the front of the Dumbo line! :worship:

Love the Fairy pics. My boys got a lot of attention from them as well...I'm sure they're not used to getting too many boy visitors! ;)

It is so cool that Fawn and Tink stayed in character like that! Gotta love that Disney magic! :lovestruc And I love that they helped Michael get into it. That's really neat!

Hi Missy! That's great that your boys went to see the fairies for their Mom! What good little guys you are raising! I'm sure it was tough for your oldest, what with the fairies being so unattractive and all....:rolleyes1

I just love those pressed pennies! They are like pins - you can remember where you got them and the story that goes along with them. It was a fun night - I can't wait to collect more with her!

The fairies were fabulous! Definitely a must-do! Michael will probably request to go see them next time!

Hi there! :flower3:

KATHY!!!! You're back!! So happy to have you back! So much for the lazy days of summer, right? I think a lot of us are looking forward to the lazy days of fall! :rotfl: It's crazy busy isn't it? I hope things are well and I'm so happy you are back DIS-ing! :grouphug:

Thanks for reading, Vivian! I'm glad to have you along! :goodvibes

I was hoping to have another update done before leaving for the beach, but it doesn't appear that it is going to happen (leaving this afternoon). Hopefully, when I get home I can knock out another section! Thanks for hanging with me!! :grouphug:
