A small Dumbo update and an interesting thing I learned in the park today (+ pics, as always)

When you arrive at 7:15, do you have a favourite gate you like?

Not really. I tend to gravitate towards whichever is shorter. Or, if I get a sense that there's a large group ahead of me with home-printed tickets (that require scanning, a guest photo and the signing of each ticket), I tend to avoid those. They're frustrating when you're an AP holder simply waiting to have your ticket scanned. Friends have argued that there should be a special line (lines?) solely for AP ticket holders. I would like that but I suspect it wouldn't go over with non-AP guests.

PS- welcome back, Rob! glad you had a great trip; much appreciate the Shanghai report.
Your reports are always something I look for in this forum :thanks:

Thank you! It's good to be back. Glad you found the Shanghai report useful. Also glad that you keep an eye out for my weekly (almost) reports and pics. It's always fun to summarize my day at the park when I get home.

:welcome: back and great photos, as always.

I once got a GREAT score on Buzz, and wanted to post and tag you in it. lol. The attraction stopped in the 2nd Zurg room, so I took advantage. Otherwise, I'm usually a level 4 or 5. :tilt:

Thanks! Yes, please always feel free to tag me in any of your Buzz pics. I can't be the only one here who's obsessed with that game! ;-).

They have AP lines at WDW!

WDW gates move faster in general though. Each gate has two tap points and it takes less time for the magic band and touch sensor to register then for a cm to scan your ticket etc.

I wish they'd update ours to make them more efficient.

Thanks! Typically I arrive at the front gates around 7:15 or so (on days when the park opens at 8:00). The streets are only like that for about four or five seconds once the guests begin to pour in. In short, it doesn't last. Many people try to grab this kind of photo so you have to walk as fast as you can to be there first. Sometimes other entrance gates let people go a second or two ahead of mine and then this shot becomes impossible.
Which gate do you like to use?
