Just in case anyone is strictly observant - I got one of these meals last year and the meal contained items which are not permitted during passover such as corn and peas.

and as much as I might not usually do it, we'll just have to wing it. My boys are 8 and 3.5 so I'm not as concerned about them, and DH is really not observant. I'm the one that usually follows for the 8 days. So I guess we'll just have to ask for a bit more forgiveness when Yom Kippur rolls around.

Thanks for the info though.

While corn and peas are not permitted for Ashkenazim, they are not chametz. In other words, you could have them on your plate, you just cannot eat them. This would be different than actual chametz (e.g. bread) where having it on your plate would make your whole plate chametz.
