We had a blast! We both absolutely adore illuminations. We were upset about the pastries since thats our ritual but illuminations is still so pretty!

Hurray for reaching CSR! We really enjoyed our stay there and loved the food at the Pepper Market!
Le Cellier looks delicious! I would want to try that mousse if only because it is so cute!
I love gift shops, too. In fact, for me, part of the fun of vacations is browsing through all the gift shops.
That's a shame about Mission Space! I hope David gets to ride it later in the trip.

I'll give my full thoughts on CSR but like other disney hotels i just had no complaints, I love all of them! Pepper market was really cool, but we only ate there for breakfast...the mousse was good and your right very cute! And hooray for gift shops! We need a tag or something "gift shop addict!"
Great updates! I'm so glad you had a good time at Universal. I love it there and we always have a great time. Spiderman's the best! I'm also glad that you made it to Disney without any problems and that your knee was starting to feel better. What a pain! You handled it really well though. How was CSR?! We've only ever visited and I loved it, it was so festive and colorful!

I LOVED David's reaction to the AKL surprise! I also took at a peak at the video of your Mom & Dad's reaction to their cruise surprise - I had tears in my eyes watching both videos. What a fantastic idea to send your parents on a cruise next year! Both you and David are great kids!
I love the theme of CSR - my DS30 wants to stay there our next trip but I want to surprise him and his brothers and sister with a stay at AKL (since I will be buying timeshare there in October). Can't wait to surprise them all!

If I could stay at AKL every disney trip I would be a happy person, I just loved it there! We are planning on staying there next may as a family when they return from the cruise, we'll see...I would be in heaven! Your kids will be so surprised!!

Hi Nicole! Just got back from Disney this evening and now I have to catch up on all the reports.
Portofino looks so beautiful, I think that is where I will be staying when I eventually get to Universal.

We won't be arriving until early morning Wednesday but I'm counting tomorrow's late night flight as the start.

I hope you do a TR, I'm not sure if this will reach you in time but have a great time. David and I stayed at POFQ last christmas and we have nothing but nice things to say about it! I hope you have a blast!
