OH NO!! I can fully feel your knee pain just reading this. I've been having my knees dislocate (aka go out of joint) since I was in 4th grade. Just by standing somewhere and turning wrong. It is a horrible, horrible pain - so I know what you're saying. I can put mine back in, too.
Sorry you had to go through such pain & the aftermath on your fun trip. That stinks that the hotel staff didn't handle it appropriately.
Oh so you know exactly what happened! We still had a blast though I wasn't about to let that damper the vacation!
That really stinks about your knee!!! You were such a trooper to keep going -- dinner looks delicious! I am still laughing over David's paparazzi photo!
Yeah David's quite the character and dinner was delicious, by far the best meal i've had in orlando with the exception of 2 restaurants upcoming
I was thinking about you today. I am glad all you did was lose power!
What'cha readin'?
Yeah we lucked out with the storm there was a tornado about a mile from here and the road was closed but we were safe
I'm a big fan of the author Emily Giffin and I was catching up on a book I bought by her in new york called Baby Proof. Nothing fancy, just good ol' chick lit
Me, too. I hope you all stay safe throughout the storms.
Thanks MeMom
They are very cool.
He's quite the character, huh?
Hi:
Hope you didn't lose anything else besides the power today. What were you reading?
Your evening sounds like so much fun except for the knee pain. Good food, good company and a good movie make for a fun time. David I love your paparazzi pic.
Looking forward to hearing more.
Cathy
I read Baby Proof by Emily Giffin. Just some good ol' chick lit my favorite genre
We def had a fun evening that night, did I tell you guys about my knee at the Dis meet I don't think I did
great update and pics.
how nice she took it off the check. those desserts looked yummy.
glad the knee was feeling better, a little.
I have to call Biff's son and see how he did in the storm, he is in Jupiter.
Yeah I was glad she offered to take it off the check because as usual david was being a pain in the you know what at a restaurant and I just felt bad for her i didn't want to bring it up. The desserts were yummy we had a good time at Mama Dellas.
We aren't too far from Jupiter but it wasn't terrible here
I'm happy to hear that your knee was starting to feel at least better enough to start walking on it.
I really like the paparazzi photo of David.
As you may start to notice, I'm a sucker for good food, and I absolutely love Italian and that chicken parm looks delicious!
Can't wait to read some more.
Yeah it got better as the days wore on it was tough the first few days but then it was okay. Italian food is the best! CHicken parm is my favorite meal ever and it was so good!
I'm in!!!! That is SO great you got to stay in both Universal and WDW.

Sorry about your knee situation, how is it now? Also, how is the weather in Florida right now....forgot to ask, whereabouts you are ? We'll be heading to the BC this Friday from NYC....hoping Fay is long gone and another
new storm doesn't develop. We were there for Charley and Francis...you'd think we learn, huh? Just a real convenient time for us to go and get in the last hurrah...before school starts for the kids! We are contemplating doing a day in Universal towards the later part of our trip....your best way for us getting there (no car) How did you get there? Thanks for your tips!
We are in West Palm Beach, FL and this was our first storm because we moved here right after wilma in 2005! Being from NY we just kind of called it a "noreaster" with rain instead of snow

Have a really great time, I know you will this is when the parks start to empty out! If you can get out to Universal you should give it a try, but like Disney there is something more that comes from staying on-site, especially those front of the line passes! Universal is fun but I like going before Disney like David said just because even when that part is over you still have DISNEY!
