A silly thought

...I think they are missing out by not turning Innoventions into a Star Wars restaurant with atmosphere characters (like the old Star Trek restaurant at the Las Vegas Hilton). Perhaps one floor themed like the cantina in the first movie doing QS, and another being a more high-tech themed area with table service. They could have huge markups and still do enormous volume. And the whole thing would be cheaper than a new Star Wars attraction, even figuring in the cost of all the costumed characters.....

Except for the fact that lots of the exhibits inside Innoventions are backed by various sponsors that I would imagine pay a pretty penny to be there -- whereby bringing Disney corporate income.

Also, if you have ever been to WDW as well, you may have noticed there are some of the very same sponsored exhibits there. My guess is they are very profitable cross-country corporate partnerships.

I never understand this comment when it surfaces here on DIS. I personally do not have the ability to soar in a rocket, ride in a submarine, or zoom through space. For the "every man" to be able to do these things is still a future concept. As is many of the things inside Innoventions. - Dreams
And I have heard these as rebuttles too. There is nothing futuristic about submarines and space travel, just because the average joe hasn't experience them and likely never will.

Star Wars / Star Tours is set a long long time ago aka the past.
Driving Cars nothing futuristic about that. Cars have been around for over a 100 years.
Blasting off into space a la Space Mountain, people have been doing that for over 50 years.
Fighting a toy for batteries a la Buzz not likely to happen in the future.
Riding a submarine to hear fish communicate? A stretch but maybe

Now don't get me wrong I enjoy these attractions but do not see them as futuristic.

Are my husband and I the only people who enjoy Pizza Port?

I see other people in there, too!!
