Did a place like Be Our Guest recently add tables that only sit one person?

I'm trying to get a reservation for 2, and for fun I put in 1 to see if it was truly fully booked, and I could get 3 different time frames.

So I put in one of those times for 2 people, and nothing is available. I try with the other two, and the same thing happens again.

I remember when I went solo, I actually had to search for a party of 2 since, the system had an issue looking for a solo reservation.

Be our guest is constrained by kitchen capacity, not seating capacity.

So you're telling me that they are fine for 1 person at 8:30 and 8:45am, but not 2 at either one of those times?
Well, yes, but I should clarify; I didn't realize you were asking about breakfast.

And dinner, they are constrained by the kitchen. You'll wait outside and then wonder why there are so many empty tables inside.

At breakfast and lunch, since they serve counter-service style, they are constrained by the number of chairs, not tables.

At breakfast and lunch, you seat yourself. So table size is completely irrelevant.

If you need to book 2 people, take the 8:30 and the 8:45. You can sit together.

If you call the wdw-DINE number they could probably help you get two on that reservation. It's worked for us numerous times.
