There are actually more of us but this was a special me trip

:tinker: Grace - MOI!!! I turn forteen in October:woohoo:, I love pin trading and collecting ( especially the Hidden Mickey ones), I love AG dolls, I am obsessed with EVERYTHING Tinkerbell, I love the Disney Princessesprincess:( Aurora is my favorite), and did i mention i am your Class A Disney Snob:snooty:. I have only been to Disney 5-6 times and i know kids my age that go 2-3 times a year and are sorry for me, and i know kids that either never went or don't remember going cause they were so young and are mad that im going again.

::MinnieMo Donna - Mommy!!! My mom is the very talented lady who found someway to keep this HUGE secret from me, the little snoop, she also wrote an awesome trip report from a trip we took in 2000, you should all check it out, the link is in my signature. She is a huge Disney fan herself and she has been there about 15 times, she loves all the Disney characters and is awesome at planning trips and finding deals.

::MickeyMo Richard - Daddy!!! My dad is probably the biggest Disney fanatic you'll ever meet( or hear about)! He has been going to the Disneyland and World Parks for the past 40 years. I think he has been about 20 times maybe more, who knows, he said he lost track a twenty. He LOVES, i repeat, LOVES the Adventurer's Club and is the most devasted person in the world because it is CLOSING. And it truly is so sad because that is the funniest place on Disney Property:rotfl2:. His favorite character is Roger Rabbit.

Now if you plan on reading the Trip Report my mom wrote you should, and if you did tell me if you liked it. On that trip I was six and had a funny ride rating system. I would close my eyes if the ride was scary. I would keep one eye open if I thought I could handle it and keep both eyes open for the rides that I liked. Now on this trip I decided that my two eyes closed scale would be different,

two eyes closed would mean scary but AWESOME
one eye closed would mean not so scary but still AWESOME
two eyes open would mean just plain AWESOME

By the way a heads up all the dates on the pictures are way wrong because the battery messed it up and now we wish that we hadn’t of put it on.

More soon!!!(Scroll Down princess: )

Day Plan - Go to the Carnival
Go to Melting Pot

So me and my best friend, D, went to this fair in a close by town. We had such a great time and I thought the would be the highlight of my day.
stroccofair.jpg

View from top of the Ferris Wheel

When I got home I got ready to go out to dinner with my mom and dad to the Melting Pot. After I finished getting ready I found out that my dad wasn’t feeling well and we couldn’t go and I was so mad. Then my mom showed me this Disney envelope.
100_4107v.jpg

The surprise Disney envelope

I had seen it a few days before and didn’t bother to open it, thinking it was just some stupid letter trying to get us to come back, then my mom told me to open it and read it, the first thing I saw was “ Welcome ******** Family, We’re so happy you’re coming back in August!” and all I could say was “ AUGUST? NOW? WHAT!”
100_4106v.jpg

The Disney letter

I got SO excited and I couldn’t even believe it. She told me she had been planning it for months and then she gave me some presents she bought me for the trip, being a Tinkerbell bag and a water-squirting fan. I texted my friend D to tell her and she said she already knew and I asked her if everyone but me knew and she said they all knew. I still couldn’t believe it. My mom told me to start packing cause we were leaving Thursday.

Next post soon!! ( Scroll Down)

Day 1 - Thursday - Travel Day!!

Hey there everyone, thanks for reading, please post and comments or thoughts. Well then here we go!!

Finally it has come, the day I have been waiting for TRAVEL DAY. Now for me 5 days is a very long time. My mom and I stayed home that morning to get everything we needed like gum, and all that fun stuff for the plane ride. I got two magazines, two packs of gum and some candy. Then we got back to our house after some last minute shopping and we made sure we had everything packed. We only had one problem all day. Last year my aunt gave us two couches, so we went out and bought couch covers so they wouldn’t get ruined, and today 40 minutes before we left my dad was looking for his DVD case, we looked everywhere and couldn’t find it so we ended up having to leave with out it. Two days later my sister calls and tells us it was under the couch cover! But anyways our plane left at 6:30 so we left the house at 3:30 cause the airport is an hour away and my dad likes to be early. We took Southwest from Providence to Orlando, Flight 2109 on August 14 2008.

I didn’t take any airport pictures or plane pictures , anyways the plane ride was fun, but very packed and my mom suggested we not choose a seat on the engines so we let her pick, she ended up picking the ones right in front of the emergency exit seats and half way through the flight I realized the seats wouldn’t go back, at first I thought it was because I’m weak, then I thought I wasn’t pushing hard enough then when my mom moved her pillow I noticed the little sign that said “ These seats do not recline, due to the emergency exit.” Oh well, now we know. The best part was my dad telling me about how when he was younger and he would fly first class with his mom, dad and 4 of his sisters, they were the only kids on the plane and they got to run around and play upstairs. They used to be either the only family or one of two families and they would have lobster, steak and champagne for dinner! :drinking1

This year we decided that we weren’t going to bother renting a car, we used Disney’s Magical Express. The Magical Express is a very nice way to get into the Disney mood and the video is very cute. When we arrived at the hotel it was probably about 10: 30ish so my mom went to check in and my dad and I got the luggage. We stayed at the Caribbean Beach Club, now it’s not my favorite hotel but not the worst. So after we checked in we then went to the bus stop to get the internal shuttle to get to our village. We stayed in Aruba room 5438, we would have walked if we had known how close it was, we waited for the internal shuttle for probably 20 minutes.
disney139.jpg

Our room door
After we found our room, we went to check out the pool and store area, little did we know that the store closed at 11:00 and the bar closed at 12:00. We left the hotel room at 11:20 and it took us 10 minutes to walk there, so my parents got a drink and I got a virgin strawberry daiquiri, they are so deee-licious, any way then we walked over to the main building, not knowing that it was closed, and the bartender said “ Don’t bother,” and my mom said “ Excuse me,” then the man explained how it closed at 11 and that the bar was closing at 12 so if they needed anything else to order now cause it was last chance we would get of the night.

So we went back to the room, which was a relief to get back into the AC because it was still hot at midnight. We got back to our room about 12:15. When we got back to the room my dad hooked up the laptop and got everything set up with the internet, and we watched some of the Olympics live from Beijing. Our luggage got dropped off at about 1:00, we were truly surprised how fast it came. Then we unpacked and went to bed cause we decided we were going to get up early the next morning for opening of Magic Kingdom. So on the phone I set a wake-up call for 6:30 am, it was so cool how they had someone who said “Have Magical Dreams!”

More coming soon!!

Day 2 - Friday - Magic Kingdom and Downtown Disney

So, I woke up late :sad1:, but who won’t if they had a dream where they were a Disney Princess that lived in the castle :cloud9:. But anyway, I woke up at 7 and my parents were already changed and ready to go get breakfast, so I quickly threw on they outfit I picked out last night, a white tank top, with yellow shorts. So we took our quick ten minute walk over to Old Port Royale to snatch a quick breakfast, we all ended up getting Mickey waffles with the strawberry topping which was DEEE-LISH. Before we left for Magic Kingdom I stopped over at the hotel store and bought a signature book, because according to my mom everyone deserves their own brand new autograph book whether it is their first trip or there fiftieth trip. I also bought a new pin lanyard because mine was to small, and my dad bought me a few pins. So after we finished our shopping we jumped on the bus to the Magic Kingdom where we met a family that had been coming back to the Caribbean Beach Club for 14 years, and I wanted to scream “ WHY!!!!” it‘s so big!!!, not that I didn’t like the hotel I was just not fond of it compared to past experiences at Wilderness Lodge, Beach Club, Polynesian and other Disney hotels.

We got to Magic Kingdom at about 8:30 and there weren’t that many people there just a few hundred, we were near the right side entrance and we got a perfect view of the morning welcome show.
disney004.jpg

Our entrance
Now I have a question for all you DISers, during the morning welcome show there was a family that got off of the railroad train and were part of the show now I was wondering are they the winners of the Cinderella Castle stay or were they just the first ones who got to the park? Well anyway right after the show we walked to Tomorrowland to ride Space Mountain, when we got there, we were about ten minutes behind everyone else because we had decided to take it all in on the walk over, the ride was shut down for technical difficulties, so everyone was getting fast passes we hopped in that line and waited five minutes just to get fast passes for 2:30 and it was only 9:20! So then we ran over to the Speedway because I had never driven one on my own cause I was too small the last time we were here. The lines are always so long and this time we got on in less than 5 minutes. Little did I know how slow they went, but it was fun!

Me in the car, I’m under the star!

100_4004.jpg

All the cars on the speedway

After the Speedway we went to Toontown and we checked out the barnstormer, there was no wait. I definitely had to ride it because this has always been my favorite ride ever since I was little. My mom and I rode and my dad sat this one out. There was a family with a mom and two small kids in line with us. The mom was explaining to the older boy that he would have to ride alone and she would ride with the smaller sister. I saw how nervous he looked so I offered to ride with him so he didn’t have to go alone. He was so cute and happy to have someone to ride with. My poor mom ended up riding by herself. I really wanted to go in Minnie Mouse and Mickey Mouse’s houses but Toontown was very packed so my parents suggested a skip :sad1:, and then we went on over to the Winnie the Pooh ride.

100_4007.jpg

Oh, No Piglet is flying away!!

Once we reached the end of Pooh journey we went to travel to Neverland with the Darling Children, Peter Pan, and Tinkerbell! Our wait to board our magical flying pirate ship was about 10 minutes, when we got off they wait time was 40 minutes !!!!!!!!! Then we made our way to HAUNTED MANSION!! It wasn’t that scary but I was still spooked, then we went to Small World and Mickey’s PhilharMagic, which was AWESOME! We ate at Peco Bill’s, I loved the food! We went on Pirates and Jungle Cruise, and then we grabbed a pineapple dole whip, which was also awesome. Then for the last land of the day we headed back to Tomorrowland. We used our fast passes to ride Space Mountain, which was awesome, although it was pretty awkward having a 1 ½ hour line that was staring at us as we walked by. After that we went over to Buzz, Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, and the Carousel of Progress, which just happen to be three of my favorite rides! While we were watching the Laugh Floor the little girl in front of us was asked what she wanted to be when she grows up, she said a paleontologist and the little orange mini Mike was just standing there with his mouth open floored by her response, on the way out he was like good luck with your ontologist thing. When we walked out of Buzz I saw Stitch, and since there was no line, I ran over to him and I got the first autograph for my autograph book.

100_4011.jpg

There’s Stitch

At about 3:00 we headed out, my parents had had enough hot weather for the first day when personally I could have stayed there all day. Before we left we stopped at the Guest Regulations desk to get Happy Anniversary buttons for them. They have been married for 21 years! We got back to the hotel at like 4:00. They decided that we all need to take a nap because we had only a few hours sleep, so that’s what they did, I was too excited to sleep. I set the wake up call anyway because they are just so cool. We, well they, woke up and got ready and we headed over to Downtown Disney. First we went to the shopping district so I could raid the Pin store and I saw the Local Pin Traders outside and I had to check out their pins. We met one trader who had 7,000 PINS!!!

Next we headed over to Pleasure Island and grabbed some hot dogs on the way. We sat on a bench to eat and watched all the people walking around. When we got to Pleasure Island we quickly purchased our tickets then went over to the Adventurer’s Club, at first I thought it was really lame, most likely cause I was really tired but I ended up loving it. We stayed to watch a few library shows and we left about 11:30. Everyone in my family is very devastated that it is closing!!!

Day 3 coming soon!!!!!

Day 3 - Saturday - Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Mom and Dad’s 21st Anniversary

Last night I set the alarm for 8:00 and I got up at 9:00 mostly because I was tired but also I was SOO cold! Well anyways I got up hopped in the shower and got dressed. We got to the bus stop at about 10:00, maybe a little bit before that. The bus took about ten minutes to come and we were the first ones to jump on. We got to DHS at 10:20, the first thing we did was go to Head to Toe and so I could get a pair of pink Mickey ears with my name on the back! The CM told me that they would be ready at 6:00 that night.

The front
100_4026-1.jpg

……….. And the back

When we checked the line times at the main board they were already super long I think the line for Toy Story Mania was 2 hrs. My dad and I went to get food at Starring Rolls Café while my mom went to get fast passes for Toy story Mania. The fast passes ended up being for 6:55 to 7:55 and we had a 4:30 reservations at Boma so that will work out. Oh my Disney!( omd) We then headed back to Tower of Terror, I love drop. We went straight to Tower of Terror to start off the day, the line said 30 minutes but it was more like 20. Once we got on I remembered how much I loved this ride on our last trip, but I was still afraid of the drop. Well right when they took the picture my mouth wide open and both my parents were looking at me! It was priceless as my mom always says when she looks at it and to make it even better we were all wearing nice clothes since we were going straight to Boma after. It really surprised me that she bought it because she usually never buys the pictures unless we are in front of the Disney landmarks. After we went on TOT we went over to Rock n’ Rollercoaster, we had bought ponchos the day before at MK, and thank goodness we did because right when we got in the inside area of the RNRC line it started to rain! Well we waited about 50 minutes until we got into the little video room, then we waited to get into our limos for about 10 minutes, we were 1 limo away from boarding and then they made an announcement that the ride was shutting down due to technical difficulties so when we got off they gave us all re-entry passes! After that we walked out and it was pouring so we put the ponchos on and went out into the craziness, we then walked over to the Great Movie Ride and pin store. After those we went to see how the lines for Star Tours were, it was a half hour line when the fast passes were for twenty minutes from then so my mom thought it would be faster to get the fast passes, so we went over to see the Muppets 3-D. When it was over it was time to use our fast passes for Star Tours, the line was longer in the fast pass line than in the stand-by line, most likely because Jedi Training was in process.

We waited about 20 minutes, and once the ride was over I remembered how much I love that ride! After we got off it was probably 2:45 and we decided to do one more ride so we went over to time boards to see if there were any rides with short lines, and there weren’t so we left the park and got on the bus to Animal Kingdom Lodge for our reservations for BOMA!!! My mom and dad picked the restaurant because it was their anniversary today. Since they loved this restaurant on their last trip (without kids) they wanted to try it again. We got to AKL early so they could show me around. In 06 they stayed there and LOVED it. I really can’t wait until I stay there! The lobby was so extravagant. Since it was only 3:30 we stopped in the store first, when we were there I got a Stitch pin and some other things. But the main reason we stopped at the store was because back in May my dad and I accidentally broke my moms favorite AKL coffee mug and we wanted to find a replacement. After that we went outside to admire the pool and fabulous view of the Savanna. I saw so many awesome animals, like this baby giraffe.
disney007.jpg

He’s so cute

Before we knew it 4:10 rolled around and since we wanted to see the opening performance we headed on over to Boma! And the question was “Who is the President of South Africa?”, does anyone know the answer to that? Anyway our buzzer went off at exactly 4:25, so we went to our table and ordered our drinks :drinking1, I order a virgin strawberry daiquiri( they are so DEEEHH-lishious), and then we went up to the buffet. First I got steak because it just looked so good and I had to try it! So I got that and a lot more yummy looking stuff. After I got my food and brought it to the table I went back up to meet my mom at the soup part of the buffet. We love soup! There were four soups so we both got two and headed over to our table. Unfortunately the corn soup spilled on my hand and started to burn, at first I was wondering why my palm was burning, then I looked down and realized there was yellow soup all over my hand and the bowl and since we were in the back right corner near the window I had a long way to go so I had to keep stopping at tables in between, and after that I ended up not liking any of the soups! Although the adult food might not be ideal to a child’s palette, they do however have some very delicious Mac n’ Cheese and chicken nuggets! After we got seconds our waitress brought over a very delicious dessert to celebrate the anniversary! We also got some desserts from the buffet.
disney009.jpg

YUMmy!

After dinner we went back to DHS to use our fast passes, even though we hadn’t originally planned on going back. I wanted to see Fantastic :smickey: and since we had the fast passes and we had to pick up my ears, why not do it tonight!
disney011-1.jpg

Me in my ears on the walk to Toy Story Mania

We got back at 6:30 and picked up my ears on the walk over to Toy Story Mania, TSM is such a awesome ride I loved it so much, and I almost beat my mom, in the beginning I was in the lead then the last round she beat me by 3,000 points! I was so disappointed :sad1:. After we went over to Tower of Terror for a few more rides.
100_4020-2.jpg

Me waiting in line for TOT and my ears are way to forward

After a couple of times on Tower of Terror it was time to go see Fantasmic, now we knew that since we went over at 8:30 that we were going to have to stand but we didn’t mind. The show was so amazing. My favorite part of the show was the part when they showed the video clips on the water. So once the show was over we linked arms and made our way looking like the Mean Girls, only my dad didn’t have a girly bounce. As soon as we were out of the park we hopped on the bus for Downtown Disney!

When we arrived at DD I insisted that we go to the PIN SHOP!! To see if the pin traders I.D. machine was fixed yet and it wasn’t so I just convinced my parents to let me stay for a little, and they did. I then went over to the pin trading wall. After awhile I thought that they had headed over to the picture frame store but I saw them looking at some pins and my dad bought me some pins, still today he hasn’t given them to me, and my mom bought me a pooh bear starter set so I could trade them. I ended up trading two of them for hidden Mickey pins. Oh did I mention when we were in DHS I saw a CM giving out papers that had all the 2008 and 2008 hidden Mickey pins. By the time the trip was over I had gotten 13 of them. So after about half an hour there we sadly left.
disney005-1.jpg

Me with Mickey and Minnie in the Pin Trading Station.

So we headed on over to, you guessed it, Pleasure Island to go to …
disney131.jpg

The Adventurer’s Club which was, as always, hilarious! Now today was even funnier because the man playing Hathaway Brown took one mans camera and then the guy playing the boy scout I can’t seem to remember his name, Emil maybe?, well anyways he came over to me and snagged our video camera and was following Hathaway. It was very funny, and this was all happening while Hathaway was singing That’s Amore! Anywho! After the last show the man who had been following Hathaway, no not the actor, just a man we thought was a local asked us if we were fans of the Adventurer’s Club, and obliviously we said YES! Then they had a conversation that was twenty minutes long, but after 5 minutes he told us he was a CAST MEMBER! He was really awesome!
disney134-1.jpg

There they are my dad, mom and CM Art.

So when we got back to the Hotel at probably 1:00 of Day 4. When we walked back in the room we saw these!
100_4022.jpg

They were for my parents Anniversary

Day 4 coming soon!

nice report, youre a wonderful writer!

...and LOL, in those pix...u sure do look like a "star!!" lol:rotfl:

Day 4 - Sunday - Epcot and MK

Today was the day of late extra magic hours at MK, so since we had 10 o’clock reservations at Chef Mickey’s we decide to sleep until 8:30 am. So we got up and got dressed, I had decided since this was my favorite restaurant I would wear my favorite summer outfit! I had such a good time there, it really makes me feel like I’m five again! We got to our bus stop and only waited 5 minutes until an MK bus came. When we arrived we walked over to the fabulous Contemporary, and we, as my dad says, “admired the architecture”, you see my dad is a huge fan of the Contemporary and he keeps saying, “ the next time we go to WDW I’m not going unless we stay in the tower of the Contemporary!” Well after an hour at the Contemporary he says, “ Now I don’t know if I wanna stay here, maybe just two nights.” so I was like “okay daddy, whatever you want.” Well ,anyhow, we got there 30 minutes early and we walked around a little, unfortunately there was terribly loud construction going on! It was horrible! But, moving on, we sat in that side of the building area where you couldn’t hear the noise at all!

The cupcake they gave mom and dad for their anniversary

After the fabulous and fun breakfast, we hopped on the monorail and went to the TTC to hop on the monorail to Epcot. When we got to Epcot went straight to Soarin and we waited in the STAND-BY LINE, I know, it was only 11:40 and the fast-passes were all gone and my mom really wanted to ride this! But anyway we met a girl celebrating her 21st birthday. Since we were waiting we got to play those movement simulation games and our team( YELLOW) won the bird flight one and the balloon popping one! After 50 minutes we finally boarded our hang-glider and prepared for our journey! Just smelling the oranges made my very dry mouth water, and my very toasted body was chilled by the ocean breeze. When I exited the attraction I smelt like pine trees which was not ideal! I would have rather smelled like a beach but what can I do? While we were in line for Soarin I asked my mom, “ Mom, since the hurricane could keep us here anyway, do you think we could stay one more night?” and she said she would think about it, “ SCORE!!”. After Soarin we headed over to The Sea’s with Nemo and Friends!
disney034-1.jpg

Me with Nemo and Friends

We, well at least I loved the ride, I especially loved the waiting area because it was so cool like you were under water. It was a fun ride. Turtle talk with Crush was funny but my dad and another man both thought it was a very bad impression of Crush, and the little kids were very shy but who can blame them. It’s a huge talking Turtle on a screen 2 feet in front of them. After spending some time with Nemo and the gang we walked over to Spaceship Earth, on the walk over I had gotten a couple of pennies pressed and I was swinging the plastic baggy I was keeping them in back and forth and then …….. it broke!!!!!! Very horrible, 20 pressed pennies, 16 quarters, and 20 un-pressed pennies went everywhere, but all the people passing were so nice and helped me pick up all the pennies and quarters that had fallen. Well after that crisis was over we rode Spaceship Earth which was, I must say, very nicely renovated. After a few more rides we went to the Ice Cool Station and my mom told me to taste one (Beverly) and it was absolutely disgusting and started to burn my mouth. I have to say my favorite product was the ginger ale! YUMmi!

Once we were done in Future World we headed out it was about 3:00, we went back to the hotel changed in to our swimsuits and brought our laundry to the laundry room right near the pool. We, mostly I, swam for about an hour which was very relaxing, once we moved the clothes to the dryer my dad went up to bed and I wanted a snack so me and mom brought our cups and room cards with us to Old Port Royale, and the first thing I did was go look at pins duh! Then I went to the snack area and I saw something that I had to get because it looked so YUMmi, it was apple slices and caramel!!! I was so excited that I got them because they were the last one and the sales woman said they won’t be back for a few days, so I was like “SCORE!!!”. Then tragedy struck, we had left the Old Port Royale and we had re-entered the Aruba pool area to go back to the laundry room. I was balancing two mugs and the apple and caramel container and I was trying to get my room key out to open the laundry room door, well I did but the apple container fell and cracked open!! I was SO mad that I stormed over to open the door and I opened and it sliced in between my toes! And I was so upset and it hurt so much and did I mention there was blood all over my foot, so disgusting.

After the problem was fixed with some Band-Aids, we got all our clothes and brought them up to our room and then we took a quick half hour nap, we woke up got changed and grabbed everything we would need for our Extra Magic Hours at MK. We arrived at MK at about 5:00 and we went to get fast passes and go on all the things that we wanted to do that weren’t going to be open during EMH. First we went to see the Hall of Presidents, after that we got dinner at Columbia Harbor House, once we were done eating we went on a few more rides and then we went to get our EMH bracelets, and we went to get some funnel cake and waters, DEEHH-lishious, then we walked over to the very crowded main street to find some where to stand for Wishes! which I must say was phenomenal! I felt like a little kid again! After the show was over we moved to the side so that we could stay together and not get trampled, we decided that we would get fast passes for space mountain, they were for 2:00 am which we didn’t mind, and we decided that we would start at Tomorrowland and work our way around. So we started with the People Mover, then the Carousel of Progress( I love that ride), with Buzz, and Stitch closely behind. After Tomorrowland we headed to Fantasyland and went on Snow White and then mad our way to Liberty Square to ride Haunted Mansion, again, I think we ended up riding it twice. Next we went to ride the two mountains we had been putting off, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain! The wait for BTMRR was said 20 minutes but it was only about 10 minutes, I really loved this ride because of the ups and downs and flying left to right! We went on that 2 or 3 times in row and there was barely any line, next was Splash Mountain and I was very nervous and excited about this ride because I wanted to ride but didn’t want to get wet and I knew with my luck I would get front row but since there was no one there he let us pick! So I chose the 2nd to back row and luckily I didn’t get wet! At all! So after the mountains were conquered we went on Aladdin’s Magic Carpet ride and I was my mom Pilot and I told her we would be having a safe, magical and wet journey from Disney World to Disney World!! It was very fun! After the Carpets were accomplished we went to Jungle Cruise, Buzz again and then at 2:20 we went to ride , drum roll please …………………………… the one, the only, ladies and gents, SPACE MOUNTAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My all time favorite ride!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After SM was defeated we headed out, luckily our bus was right there as we were leaving, again “ SCORE!!” , I was told that I feel asleep on the bus, though its not like I would remember that so, we got back and I went straight to sleep. And before I was told by the woman who had recorded the wake up call message to have sweet dreams and indeed I did! Find out what my sweet dream was soon!

Day 5 - Monday - Animal Kingdom and DD

Since we had been up until 4 the morning before we all decided we wanted to sleep in, which I thought would mean 10 to 10:30, but no it meant 11:30 and I was truly thankful for the extra hour! So we went to Old Port Royale, well mom and me went, and she got bananas and a fruit parfait because none of us were really hungry but we all need something for our long day ahead of us, and I looked at pins, again! Once we got our food we went to guest regulations and we asked if we would be able to stay and extra day, because yesterday when we called and asked if there was anyway we could stay an extra day and the woman said everywhere but Saratoga Springs was booked, which was hard to believe because a hurricane was in process. And my dad kept saying, “ That is unbelievable, this is Disney World for crying out loud, they can do anything, and they should want to you to spend more money not tell you that you can’t!”. The woman was very nice and said that we would have to go to the main desk in the Custom House, so that’s what we did and the woman did it in less than two minutes, and my mom was like “ No Way, Your Kidding!” and the woman said no, she took our room keys and gave us new ones! On the walk from Barbados to the Custom House I saw this sign and I just have to share it with you all!

isn’t that just so cute

Anyway the day before we decided that this would be our AK day, lol that rhymes anyway, we got to AK at about 1:00 and we went straight to Everest because we had been told it was a must see! There weren’t fast passes until 5 so we decided to skip them, anyway we wanted to see the exhibit. We waited about 40 minutes, not to shabby(sorry I have always wanted to say that), and we loved it, it was so funny because my dad didn’t know that we would be going backwards. Now while we were in line we saw someone with , dadadaddahhhhh ………………………………. A FROZEN BANANANANANANANANNA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now right now I know your thinking “ what’s so great about a frozen banana?” well for the past year my dad has been telling me about how in California they have chocolate covered frozen bananas and how DEEEHH-lishious they were and I told myself “ I HAVE TO HAVE ONE” now you see I have attempted many times to make my own but it didn’t work out. Now getting back to where I left off, I just had to ask where she got it and she said there was a stand to the right of the attraction so right after we got off we rushed over and we got in line, which was exTREMELY long! After we got our DEEEHH-lishious frozen bananas and went over to see when the next Nemo show was and it was at 4:00 and since it was 2:20 we went to Restaurantosaurus which had very good hot dogs, and I went up to get ketchup and onions for my hot dog, I’m not a relish mustard girl I’m a strictly ketchup or nothing girl and when I got back my dad started, jokingly, yelling at me for putting ketchup on my hotdog because on Coney Island they wont even put ketchup on for you and this went on all the rest of the trip! After we were finished we went to get in line for Nemo and I was very excited to see him and friends, I love Squirt and I loved Dory , “JUST KEEP SWIMMING”, before the show I met this little girl, who was sitting in front of us and she had really awesome pins, I think her name was Nina or Natalie but she didn’t answer me when I asked, she was 8 years old and had 100 pins and counting. Just in that day I ended up getting 4 hidden Mickey pins, at first I wasn’t very comfortable trading with CM’s but once I didn’t I wasn’t nervous anymore, it wasn’t the talking to them or anything just the disturbing them while they are working which bothers me. During the day we all took turns carrying the very heavy, very full backpack but I mostly carried it because I had gotten used to it from 7th grade, but the I realized that the stuff making it heavy was very useless so later we took it out. After Nemo, which was awesome, was over we then we went to Dinosaur which I have to admit scared me, once we were done with that we went on Primeval Whirl, which was unfortunate because I hate this ride and the whiplash flew my dads glass off of him and the ended up breaking, downer on the day, but it was all fine in the end. Once we were dizzied out we hopped in the single rider line for Everest for the last ride of the day. We had a great time at AK although we would have liked to do more. :sad1: Here are some of my photos on the way out.

The pizza was good, at about 8:00 there was this man he was like from the circus or something and he was juggling and balancing and he was very funny. So once we were done mom and dad came over to get me from watching the circus man, we walked over to Epcot and we went to American to watch illuminations it was only about 8:20 by then so mom went to get some popcorn and sodas and KAKI GORIS!!!

I was so exciting to get a Kaki Gori, I have been wait over a year for one and when we got to the station it was closed so we said “ No biggy, we’ll get one tomorrow!” illuminations was wonderful and I love the feeling it gives. Once it was over we walked to the Beach Club to get the bus to DD, to go to … the ADVENTURER’S CLUB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Which if you hadn’t noticed by now I love that place! Barely anyone was there, thank you hurricane Fay, and we got the same table every time, of course before the AC we went to the pin shop and some other stores , though we only bought pins, and we looked for a sweatshirt I wanted although it wasn’t there. The AC was as funny as every and they made a couple of mistakes which is always a good laugh, and they picked on the audience a lot, I was very surprised that everyone made it in to the library with tables and chairs to spare. It was a wonderful and funny night, we met some nice people on the way to DD but we always do. On our way out tgere were no buses coming for us so when a bus with no name on it came I pointed right in front of me and he came to pick us and bring us to CBR. It was about 12:50 when we got to the hotel. Day 5 over and the trip was unfortunately folding away. :sad1:

Day 6 real soon!

Day 6 - Tuesday - DHS and DD

Today was the day we were supposed to go home but we had convinced mom to let us stay the extra day, and it was good we did because the flight we would have been taking was canceled, the night before I had set and alarm for 9 but we all slept right through it! We ended up waking up at 11, by 12 we were at DHS. We all wore our ponchos because it was very rainy. We were really excited to see the Stunt show! We waited about 30 minutes before they played the message saying that there may be delays or cancellations, we got out and went to the bathroom, right after getting out we found out that the show had been canceled :sad2:! On our walk back we got a churro and I saw this and had to have my picture with it.
disney001-1.jpg

I’m singing….. in the rain!!!!!!!!!!!

After the show was canceled we went to see the times for Indiana Jones, so we got fast passes for the next show, in one hour, so since we were starting to get hungry we went to make a reservation at the 50’s Prime Time Dinner, for 3:45. So we went on a couple of rides and we saw Indiana then it was time for dinner. So we went back in time to the 50’s and had dinner at ma and pa’s, were I got the coolest thing ever…….. GLOW UP TINKERBELL!!!!!!!!!!!!! And chicken pot pie, now sadly :sad2: I didn’t get a clean plate sticker, it didn’t taste good, but I should have gotten one for having a clean desert plate!

So once we were done with dinner we went to Tower of Terror and got fast passes, before we went on we took a bathroom break and that was when my dad decided to go back to the hotel so me and mom went on TOT a lot and never used the fast passes, then we used our re-entry passes for Rock n’ Rollercoaster, and since we were there ,just the two of us, we decided to go on Toy Story Mania in the single rider line because we had coincidentally always been with each other when we went in the single rider line before. When we were walking over to TSM we saw someone wearing the sweatshirt that I wanted and I politely asked her where she got it and she said over there, pointing toward the ABC Commissary so we went over “there” and there were NO STORES go figure! Anyway we went on TSM and even though we weren’t together we were one cart away, but I was with some British women who I beat badly!!!!!!! After that we walked back to the main area and went on TOT two more times because there was no line, then we looked at everything on last time and headed out it was very, very sad!

Part II soon!:cutie:

Part II - Adventurer’s Club
After we went back to the hotel we got to changed and went to Downtown Disney and like usual I went straight for the Pin Trading Station, and guess what!?!?! The Pin Traders I.D. maker was still not working!!! So we bought some more pins and headed over to P.I. do get in our last dose of The Adventurer’s Club while we could, we stayed for the whole show and like the day before there was absolutely no crowd because of the rain. We stayed for the old show and I was so funny, like rolling on the floor laughing funny :rotfl2:, then one our way out I took a zillion pictures, here they are -

Day 7 - Wednesday - DHS, Epcot, DD, and Airport :sad1:

Today was very rainy and windy, we woke up early, 8 o’clock, and the hotel people came and took our luggage, then we went over to Old Port Royale to get some MICKEY WAFFLES, and once we finished we hopped straight on the bus to MGM I mean DHS, to try and find that sweatshirt I saw the girl wearing, which we quickly looked for at World of Disney, and we even asked and the manager said that they only had it a DHS, so we first stopped at Head to Toes and there it was but you see I’m a small and the only size they had was a large but I really wanted that sweatshirt so I got it anyway figuring it would shrink in that was and it still hasn’t. We went to a few other stores and bought some things. We went to the pin store under the Sorcerer Mickey hat and right in front was the Dream Team and fruit. The fruit was spread all over the floor and the Dream Team had special ponchos on and they were holding clampers or grabbers, I don’t know what they are called. One of the Dream Team members had a clip board and as I walked by they asked me if I wanted to help pick up fruit and I obviously did because I mad it noticeable by walking slowly past them staring at the fruit. So I did and I was hoping I would win a shopping spree or a castle stay but I got a ………. CERTIFICATE!!!!!! I know I was hoping for something more than a certificate but I must admit it was fun! While we were there we went to check the line waits, they were long so we looked, again, for one last time.

After DHS we went to Epcot for some last minute shopping, and some Kaki - Gori’s. When we arrived my parents both went to the bathroom and I went in the gift shop, since we entered the back way, and we bought on of those huge Disney bags, and some other small items and but them all in the bag. Then we went to walk the World Showcase, now we didn’t really stop anywhere except American Adventure and Japan, as we started to walk over to Japan we realized that the kaki - gori stand was CLOSED!!!!!!!! I was very devastated realizing that I would have to wait yet another year for a wonderful kaki -gori. So after we walked half of WS we decided to leave and we were very shocked to find out there was no bus from Epcot to Downtown Disney and we didn’t notice that you had to go through baggage check just to get on the Monorail. So we went through baggage check, got on the monorail and went to TTC not knowing that again no bus to DD so dad was not very thrilled at this point so after looking for our brick for 5 minutes we hopped on the monorail to Polynesian, the most beautiful and spectacular Disney hotel, to get the bus to DD and 4 buses come to the Polynesian and the first 3 came in like 10 minutes none of them were to DD and then another 5 minutes later a DD bus FINally came! We were there in about 5 minutes.

Our first stop was World of Disney, the Pin Trading Post( the I.D. maker was WORKING!!!!) Earl of Sandwich(Yum) and the ten dollars or less store. Since over the entire trip I had been using the penny press machines and I had been seeing those penny books and I really wanted the Tink one but I couldn’t find it so I settled for the sorcerer Mickey one and I may be a snob but this snob isn’t going to throw a fit that might make us late for or Magical Express because then we wouldn’t be able to get home. So after my hopes and dreams were crushed we went to rebuild them with a sandwich from Earl of Sandwich, I got the Meatball Sub! After our lunch/dinner we headed over to .. drum roll please …………… :rockband: ……… GOOFY’S CANDY CO.!!!!!!!!!!! We got cookies, candy apples, chocolate covered pretzels, and green hot chocolate, mostly because it had Tink on the front. We got some other things and then headed out because we had to be back to the hotel at 5:30 to get on the Magical Express at 6 for our 9 o’clock flight. So we got back and we waited and while we were waiting I talked with a former Captain of the Wonder for a few minutes and looked at each others pins, and my mom ruined on of my birthday surprises, which was a pin book. So I started putting all my pins in, then the Magical Express came and we boarded, and said good by to Disney World. Then we arrived at the airport!

Here are my Airport Shots

We arrived, checked in, went through security, and then we waited, they had really comfy chairs and electrical plugs so we plugged in our laptop and I put more pins in my book. Then it was time to board and we said goodbye to Florida, Orlando, and Disney World. It was so sad to see this amazing and fun vacation come to an end :sad1:
