If we wanted 1 nt at BCV in a 2br (or 2 studios, if need be) on cash, how soon in advance should we / could we call?
I assume DVC member would need to make the ressie to get the 25% off, if a room was available.
Other choice would be 2 rooms at BC or YC... but how does one avoid rack rates -- what discounts, if any, exist for these type WDW rooms to the non-AP passholder?
It looked to me, running the #s, that a 2br BCV was a cheaper option on cash for a Sat nt than 75 pts (ouch... stinkin' Magic season!) or BC/YC (2 rooms at nearly $300 per nt). The 2 studio option came out slightly cheaper than BC/YC too.
Rounding off to nearest $5, it looks like:
750 for pt rental for BCV 2 br at $10 per pt
580 for 2 BC or YC rooms
435 for 2 studios at BCV with 25% DVC discount
410 for a 2 br at BCV with 25% DVC discount
(NOT INCLUDING ANY TAX IN THESE NUMBERS...)
But how often would a 2 br be "leftover" for cash in August?
