I think that DH and I are going childless on BB Aug21-27th at WL. I thought in case hurricaine Ralph or someone shows up that a NICE resort would be a pleasant respite!!

That's my nephew Reid. I like that the emphasis is more on him than me. Our anniversary is Saturday and we were going to go out, but a friend died unexpectedly, so we may go to Memphis for the service.

We made it to F & W last night! A few of my favorites were; potato leek soup, frozen Irish coffee, creamy wild mushroom soup, frozen mojito, dulce de leche. Three weeks works for me too!

Well, I guess we've reached that point in the program where I start second-guessing things and wanting to make changes.

In my defense, Lady Lallie started it. With this:

We decided to order the Cobb Salad for 2 for our appetizer. So yummy. So delicious. My mouth is watering as I think about it. They also had rolls but apparently I did not get a picture of them.

That Cobb salad looks like . Especially the avocado. I love avocado. I know, you were wondering.


So I'd planned to hit the Tune In Lounge on my MGM day (I typed MGM unconsciously and refuse to change it to be 'accurate'!) without needing an ADR. But now I need Cobb salad. First I tried to call last night... What?? Operators are not standing by 24/7 to manage our dining needs???? This was an emergency!!!

I called in the morning and......




was able to get a lunch ADR for 11:50 with no trouble!

I was thrilled to get an ADR so easily. But I will say my CM was less than magical. At the end of the call I said "have a nice day" and she said "mmmm-hmmm." Mmmm-hmmmmm?????? As my friends at Seattle Grace would say, seriously?! Basic manners would dictate at least a "you too" and Disney etiquette would say something about my upcoming trip and/or day and magic!

So now my ADR/meal schedule (b/c afterall this is the most important part of planning!)

Day 1:
lunch at Beaches 'n Cream hopefully or if too crowded World Showcase counter-service
dinner - Tutto Italia

Day 2:
lunch at Brown Derby
dinner grazing around Food and Wine

Day 3:
lunch at San Angel Inn
dinner at Downtown Disney -- still in a quandry b/w Earl of Sandwich, Wolfgang Puck Express or Raglan Road



Day 4:
lunch at Yak & Yeti TS -- this is the one I'm not really feeling... I don't know...
dinner- Kona Cafe


Day 5 (last full day):
lunch- F&W
dinner at Le Cellier

Day 6 - departure
character breakfast at Cape May -- this one is up in the air as Delta has changed my flight and it may now be too early to squeeze in breakfast. We'll see...

Not exactly. I have located the features you told me about-- stitch together and the color thing-- but have not yet figured them out. All of your awesome pictures were taken w/ that camera? Don't spoil anything in your TR but did you use any of the 'special' features? Did you use the fireworks setting at night?

I did use the fireworks but because I didn't have a tripod they came out blurry so I had better luck with the auto feature when taking firework pictures. I did use the aquarium setting and the custom setting if the flash wouldn't go off in certain areas.
