A sad question: If something happened to you, would someone be able to tell us?

My husband and daughter occaisionally post here, but not that much. Should I tell them? It's not like I am popular or anything and I have never gone to a Dis Meet. I don't know.

My DH and DD both would both know who to notify.....just not sure it would be a priority for them
But I suspect someone on the threads I post regularly on, would contact them by phone if I disappeared suddenly.........

My best friend works with me and knows I post here regularly. I am not sure she would think to notify you. I will mention it to her, although she will probably laugh at me. Unless you are here, you don't know how attached we have all become to one another.

Same here - People know that I visit this site from time to time. No one - including my family realizes the extent of my obsession.

1 person on the DIS knows several ways to contact me if I suddenly disappear. Maybe that person would post something, but it's up to this person if anything is posted or not.

I have told friends and DH about my CB buddies, so they already know to post should anything ever happen to me.

DH actually calls everyone on here my Guru Buddies - he is so weird sometimes!!

Dh posted the news of our dd being born and again this year when I had surgery. I dare say that if something tragic happened the DIS would be the last thing on his mind. Sorry.

Don't apologize for your DH, Pembo. You have a lot of friends here in NE Ohio and, heaven forbid, something happened to you, we would rally around Mark and the kids. And your DIS friends would not be left in the dark.

There is nobody I can think of who would post info or updates about me. My family hardly knows what I do with a computer, let alone posting to the DIS. Some friends have been told about the DIS (if they are going to WDW) but don't know my username. I've kept this info confidential for my privacy. I have met several DISers but haven't kept in regular contact outside of the boards.

So, I guess I'd just fade away.

Chalk me up as another one who would notice your absence. There's a bunch of people from the old DB that I don't run into on the CB and I wonder if they are still active on the DIS. I'm sure they are, somewhere, but I just don't run into them anymore. So, yes, I'd notice if you were gone!
