A sad, but super great announcement

Well folks, I was planning on waiting until it became official, hence the countdown in my signature. But of course, I'm horrible at keeping secrets, and let a few clues out. Some folks guessed, so I might as well just let the cat out of the bag.

On November 16, 2003, I will officially be part of the Pop Century Opening Team. When it opens, I will be in Guest Services at this groovy new resort. I cannot wait!

I've spent three years with Disney Transport, so it will be very very very sad for me to leave. However, I do feel that this new opportunity will be a fruitful one, and that I will enjoy it immensely.

Although I will no longer be wearing Purple Pants, I will still be here on the boards, and will assist as best that I can. Although, by the looks of it lately, we seem to have some Honorary Purple Pants hanging out here... hehe

Congrats Tyler! You have helped many of us planning our travel while in WDW and we can't wait to have you help us when we are visiting PopCentury. We ae great fans of the Value Resorts at WDW and the Pop is the next resort on our To Go list.

Guest Services, huh? Oh good. Now I have one more source for my ticket information. But isn't GS at the resorts staffed by front desk people on a rotating basis? Does this mean you'll be doing front desk work, too?
