H all! Just returned from a week at the World, had a fabulous time! We stayed off-site at the Villas at Island Club in the Lindfields subdivision. Before we left, I searched and searched here for some info on this place, but came up nearly empty. So, I thought I would add my own review in case anyone else ever needs the information!

I can easily say that we would absolutely stay at this place again. We rented the condo thru our own vacation club, Global Discovery Vacations. The unit we rented is owned by Global Connections. It was a 3 bedroom, 2bath unit, was very nicely furnished. Of course, the mattresses left a lot to be desired, but they usually do in rentals, right?

The unit was very very clean and well maintained. I would have appreciated a bit more "stuff" in the kitchen for the nights that we did want to cook like a bigger cookie sheet for a frozen pizza etc. But it was very nicely organized and we managed okay.

Our unit was on the 2nd floor, facing Lindfields dr. There was a back porch with steps down to a grassy are, and just steps away was the pool. Now, if you are going to Orlando just to hang out by the pool with the kids, this will not suit you. The pool is small and nothing special. It is, however, clean. It worked out great for us, though. We spent 85% of our time at the parks, and just needed to cool off for a bit when we got home. The kids loved it.

Getting to the parks was very very easy! Thanks to the Sherberth Rd shortcut that I learned about here! We could be at AK in about 7 min, the rest of the parks took about 5 min longer.

There were pleanty of restaurants nearby, as well as 2 Publix, and was only about 5 min to the Super walmart on 27.

So if you are looking for a good home base for your Parks trip - this is a very good choice! If you wanting to spend more time at a pool, or cooking in your own kitchen, you might want to look elsewhere - but the location was superb!

Hope this helps someone in the future!:hippie:

Thanks for the review. I think so many of the rentals are lacking with kitchen stuff. We always have to go out and buy a pizza pan and a nonstick frying pan. They are thin enough so we pack them in our luggage and take them home when we are done. I get new pans every year.:)
