Hi Y'all! Just back from the World last week and I wanted to share one of our favorite break spots with you. It was around 5pm on a rainy HS day. We were waiting for our Boarding group 55 to be called and needed a place out of the rain to sit down and rest. We did a mobile order for a pizza meal which comes with salad and an individual pizza. After we got the notification that our food was ready we were able to enter the restaurant, pick up our food and take the elevator to the upper level. We sat in the "ballroom" area which never had more than one other family in it. There is also a bathroom on the upper level. It was a perfect spot for a much needed rest and snack for us. The pizza was pretty good too. My DD liked it better than the pizza we had the next day a Tony's. The other benefit for us it that it is located pretty close to Rise.

It is usually not too busy there and good place to sit pre virus. However, the food is marginal at best. Comparing to Tony’s says how bad Tony’s is. Outside are is nice in the am.

The ballroom area is one of my favorite hidden gems at Disney World! It’s so on the money for a tacky Long Island wedding in 1993. Even during pre-pandemic times, there was rarely ever anybody up there.

As for the pizza, I recommend it as well. It’s a great candidate for the trash.

I agree on both counts regarding the spot and the food. Nice spot for a break, the re-model is really nice inside. But the food is not that great. Its the same frozen pizza with a puddle of grease in the middle that one would get elsewhere on property. I know its the same at Pizzafari at AK and most resort QS locations too. That said, I find QS options at DHS to be lacking overall as it is, so this is still a decent option for someone who doesn't have TS there and needs to eat.

I agree the food was nothing great, but the four of us shared one pizza meal for a snack just as a way to get out of the rain and have a nice rest spot. We had already had our favorite meal of the trip for lunch at Hollywood Brown Derby.

We were okay with our meal last trip, but the roach that joined us on the table was a bit disturbing.

We had a blast in the upstairs wedding room! Loved the Emmet Otter Easter Egg on the sign on the doorway leading in. The pizza itself, meh. But pizza is like...some other things. When it’s good, it’s great; and even when it’s not good, it’s still pretty darn good.
