A Reason to Join Blue Chip

When we rent a car, we usually go through Priceline, but when they don't come through, we've done Thrifty twice. The second time, I decided to join Blue Chip, since it's free and makes your paperwork a lot easier. I just got my card in the mail today, along with a 10 percent off coupon for my first Blue Chip rental! I LOVE discounts, so it will come in very handy.
I joined online, and the card was here in less than four weeks (I got my number immediately).

What exactly is Blue Chip?

It is a "club," for lack of a better word. You provide them with all of your information in advance (name, address, credit card, etc.), and they enter it into their system and provide you with a card and number. Then, when you arrive, you have a special line and your paperwork is already printed out. It's supposed to be faster and eliminate the insurance pitch. I'll post more info. when we use it for the first time...probably around April.
