We just got back today from a 6 day stay at Disney World. Things I noticed well after the new rules are supposed to be in effect.
1. I actually tripped over a pull behind cooler and came really close to busting my butt. The person pulling it gave me the stink eye. I seen 3 total this past week in different parks.
2. People were smoking in the old smoking section near Space Mountain bathrooms. Maybe they decided to keep this area? who knows but they were smoking there for sure. At least 6 people. Also under the bus stop while waiting for a bus at MK and the walkway from the monorail at Epcot.
3. I saw kids riding laps of people on scooters and driving scooters many many times. I think I read somewhere that this is against policy and it's dangerous.
4. I saw people vaping anywhere they could at least a dozen times but that doesn't bother me, just didn't see anyone enforcing the rules.
5. I was standing on the Tomorrowland side of the hub watching the parade and some kids were feeding the birds popcorn and a CM was watching them do it. Not once did she tell them to stop. Thought it was against the rules? Maybe popcorn is okay? Not to sure on this one.

All of the above were people breaking rules except maybe the coolers. And ESPECIALLY the smokers.

Yeah unfortunately the elimination of smoking areas means the smokers and vapers are lighting up wherever they please. I saw it about half a dozen times last week. No cm’s said anything.

Last year while riding my scooter, I saw lots of people driving them with kids in their laps. I went to a CM to report it. Was told Disney only enforces it on their scooters (rented from them-liability issue.) All scooters rented from outside vendor Disney isn't responsible for. When you rent a scooter from an outside vendor you sign a form saying that you assume liability.
