I love the pic of you all with the Seven Dwarfs! I ate at The Plaza on my last trip! The food was excellent but our server lacked personality. Overall though we enjoyed it and I had the dessert that your cousin had as well! I couldn't even get through half of it!

Thanks! It's too bad about your server at the Plaza, ours was great, and she seemed to be having good interactions with everyone in the area. That dessert was huge!! I don't think that any of us managed to eat a dessert by ourselves all trip

I hope that I'm not being too negative in this report! We definitely did encounter some people that made me go but thankfully I didn't let it bother me and none of it impacted our trip or anything.

I love your pictures of the restaurant, but that one of you all with the Dwarfs!!! I am so jealous. That was our goal for our MVMCP night, but things got a little off balance & we arrived late, so we never got over there. Something to look forward to next time.

I'm glad that I'm not coming off negative. I agree that both good and bad should be shared, I just want to make sure that I don't dwell on the bad because it really was a great trip. It's too bad that you didn't get a picture with the Dwarves, but that definitely leaves something for next time!

Thanks! The line really does get long, and quick! You can't really see it in the picture, but the jewels are in little wheelbarrows and multiple times before the Dwarves arrived people were picking them up and the CM had to tell them to put it down lol It was actually a cute photo-op even before the Dwarves arrived.

How perfect! Next time you are at a party, just line up nice and early, and they let you take photos before the Dwarves arrive at 7pm.

The Plaza was great, you should give it a try if you get a chance. And the castle does look beautiful that way - I teared up a little!

Yay, MVMCP! I love the Christmas party, it is always so much fun! We always seem to eat at 'Ohana before and then we get in at exactly 7, but maybe next time, I'll use your method and have an ADR inside the park!

It is such a cute restaurant, and the sandwich was delicious! It was a great combination of veggies, hummus, cheese - and the bread was delicious. It was a great night, I was so glad that we went to the party!

That was my first Christmas party, but it isn't going to be my last! I had such a great time. I enjoy doing an ADR in the park. DH and I did that for MNSSHP as well, and it works out great for us. It is worth trying out! 45 minutes does seem like a long time, but you don't get a chance to see them very often! We went pretty early so we didn't have to stand in line long once the dwarves arrived, but we were waiting in line for a while before they even got there. I'm glad we did though!

Day 5 Part 3 - Sunday, December 16th, 2012

So I left us off on Main Street on party night. We were there super early for the parade because we wanted to get a good spot. So we took turns sitting and holding the spot, while others walked around, shopped, etc.

We were here early enough to see the castle show and the fireworks. None of my pictures from the show turned out, but I did get some fireworks pictures that are decent (although some guys balloons were in the way, people were yelling at him because he kept moving them around lol)

Sorry there are so many! Holiday Wishes is a great fireworks show though - I loved it!

Day 5 Part 4 - Sunday, December 16th, 2012

After the fireworks ended, Main Street cleared right out! We chose our exact spot for the parade, and waited for it to start. It was such a great atmosphere. I went and grabbed some hot cocoa and cookies for us while we waited - yum! It was all lit up, and beautiful and snowy on Main Street!! There were CM's playing with the children as they waited for the parade. I was so happy

And then, it was time for the parade to start! I was excited to see this parade because when DH and I went to the MNSSHP we didn't get a good spot and I hardly saw any of the parade.

Day 5 Part 5 - Sunday, December 16th, 2012

More parade pictures…

Soldiers - I love these guys!

It was a great parade! I'm so glad that we got good seats to watch it!

After the parade was finished, mom and grandma decided to head back to CSR. Grandma's back was bothering her, and they had done everything that they had planned to, so they left, and Jess and I continued on! We did a few things in Tomorrowland (I bought a stitch mug for my little brother), and then we went over to Fantasyland.

Jess and I managed to get our picture with the Winnie the Pooh characters. She had really wanted to do this, and there were issues with the line earlier (CM's kept having different stories about when the characters would be back, and people were getting upset)

We also went over and rode the Little Mermaid ride again - walked right on!! Score. It was almost midnight by this point, so we knew that we were going to have to leave

We took some more pictures on our way out. I really was having an amazing time and didn't want to leave. I have pain issues and my back was holding up great, the weather was nice, and it was our last night in WDW!

It was about 12:30am by the time we made our way out of the park (oops!). I was really in a wonderful mood, but I was sad that this was really the end of our trip (we weren't going to a park the next day). Knowing that I have to go back and take DH helped me to not be too sad We somehow also got lucky enough to walk right on to a bus to CSR! It wasn't very busy, so we got back nice and quickly.

Krysten, awesome updates. Last days at a park are SO SO hard, but you picked the perfect thing to do on your last night.

Your castle pictures with the fireworks turned out beautifully, and I loved seeing the parade pictures (I haven't quite gotten that far in my TR yet).

And the pictures of you and your cousin with the Pooh characters are wonderful (I really want to see them in December this year).

WOW oh WOW!! Those pictures are beautiful! I love the castle with t he projections show on it. I missed that ... I am so jealous! The parade pictures are beautiful too. I especially love one of the chip & dale ones! ... oh and the cinderella & prince charming in the coach. all of them. so beautiful.
