A question for the old timers... Yea you who have been collecting for a few years.

Hi guys--
I have three of them that I can think of...

one is a fantasy pin--I remember my DH telling me to go ahead and bid away on ebay for it--the Mickey Mouse Hard Rock Cafe pin; being a Disney pin collector and a Hard Rock pin collector this one was perfect for me.

The other two were Teddy Bear and Doll Convention pins. I was only missing 2 of these from the entire set of the pins. Thanks to a WONDERFUL pin friend (a bear artist who had been at all of the conventions) and a great Super Trader (can't remember his name) I managed to get BOTH of the years that I was missing within the same trip to DisneyWorld! My TB&D pins will never be traded away and I now have ALL of them to date!

And Peggy, you certainly do pass on good pin Karma!!! I got my surprise this week. A big thankyou!!

As for my first Holy grail, well, I actually had three when I first began pin trading.

The first one I was able to trade for at EPCOT from a former pin board web-master. I happened to meet him one day at EPCOT and we did an easy trade for the Grand Opening of Pooh Corner LE 500 pin. I was thrilled.

The second one I arranged a trade for at the contemporary the Christmas after we started pin trading in 2001. A teen-age boy came up and really wanted my Osbourne Christmas pin w/ Mickey holding reindeer. He asked what my wants were I mentioned my other 2 HG's and he said he had extra's of the My First Pin's including Pooh! We exchanged e-mails and addy's. He mailed me the Pooh and I mailed him the Osbourne pin. It was great!!

Then for my third HG, I met a very nice Japanese couple at pin central at EPCOT. I saw that he had my 3rd HG and began to drool. It was the DA 75th Anniv. pin w/Pooh. He made me such an easy trade, and I was so happy to have what was at that time, my third and final HG. So I then presented him with a CTT from 2001 to thank him for being such a great and generous trader. He then gave me a "plush" Pooh Keychain as a gift. It was wonderful.

These three pins have a prominent place in my collectors books.
And they will stay there, never to be traded.

My next HG?? The 2002 Tokyo grand opening pin w/Pooh!!! Of course!!

The other 2 are my HM Dangle... It was by far my best quest for a pin I have ever had... And the third is my CTT signed by Jim M from the first Epcot pin event.

I have a few other pins that are special but these are the 3 I will keep forever...
